The best restaurants in Dublin

07/05/2025: Best coffee in Monkstown/Deansgrange. Great range sandwiches, salads, a deli meats all prepared onsite. This is my favourite lunchtime spot in this area. Stephen is excellent at what he does and gets to know all regular customers personally. We're extremely lucky to have SC Grocer in the neighborhood.

07/06/2025: Careful with breakfast, they include regular coffee or tea as usual, I ordered moca which is 3.5e out of breakfast exactly the same price that regular coffee and they were such as shameless charging moca as an extra one on the bill. They didn't want to refund the extra money talking in a prepotency actitude try to blame me for the situation and I said...now please give me the tea which was included.... the stupid waiter said to me UNBELIABLE. I obviously left the place straight away. I should say your services are UNBELIABLE and your actitude taking care of customers is disgusting.

22/05/2025: Dear Sirs, We would like to share our visit to your pub today. We have been regular customers for many years and have returned many times with satisfaction. Unfortunately, today's experience was extremely disappointing. The dishes ordered left much to be desired: Half a duck looked more like a few random scraps of meat - definitely not a portion that could be considered "half a duck". The chicken curry had neither a distinctive taste nor a proper main ingredient - the chicken content was limited to three small pieces, the rest was mainly red onion. The rice was dry and the sauce looked and tasted reheated. Mammas burger - after a 45 minute wait we received a burnt bun with an unspecified content. The dish was returned. After another 25 minutes the burger was served in a cold bun with overly salted chips. We had to send this dish back too. On top of all this, there was terrible service – no response, long waiting times and a sense of complete chaos. We regret to say that this experience has completely discouraged us from future visits, despite many years of loyalty to the establishment. We hope to draw conclusions and improve the quality – both of the food and the service. Yours sincerely. Customer.

30/05/2025: I was in Smithfield and most places were closed at 9pm. I stumbled upon Tokyo Kitchen and was delighted with my meal I Had the daily wok platter that came with crispy prawns with salad, rice and crispy chicken with vegetables. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. The prawns were tasty and crispy, the chicken portion was good and in a really tasty sauce. I would definitely recommend. The staff were friendly and attentive. Only downside is there are no seating for customers so you have to stand at a high table. Benches would be a much better idea.

24/05/2025: Freshly made sushi. The best sushi I have ever had. The girl who served was very welcoming and friendly.

15/05/2025: Called in today to get a take away coffee, I'm in here regularly, I went to use the bathroom first and manager called after me loudly excuse me excuse me, she then proceeded to inform me I shouldn't be using the toilets. I told her I intended to buy a coffee afterwards . I decided then with that attitude I would rather go to javaholics and buy their coffee and be served with a good attitude.

14/05/2025: Today I had an uncomfortable and rude experience in Kennedys, where I was treated differently from other customers for no apparent reason. Used to like coming here but not a fan of leaving a café upset when I'm only ever friendly and always tip. Staff should be trained on treating all customers equally and with respect. I don't know the staff member's name, as there are no name badges, but she is about late 20s and tall with dark hair and eyes.

16/04/2025: Another 5 star from me just because the food and friendliness is so consistent. Doesn't look like much from the outside but fresh, delicious and reasonably priced food awaits within.

12/06/2025: The food is delicious, the atmosphere is pleasant and the service is very good, I recommend the afternoon tea, it has a selection of incredible cakes, this cafe is a hidden gem.
