05/04/2025: Love stopping by Butlers for a coffee – the drinks are always top quality, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. One of my favorite things is that they give you a free chocolate with your order – such a nice touch that makes the experience even better. Cozy atmosphere and great service every time!

03/04/2025: Very unfriendly. Had pests in my room (moths, silverfish) and mold in the bathroom. I got a new room after complaining, but the employees were super unfriendly. Compensation or apology: none. For a room price over €200/night, it's a disgrace. The some pos. is the distance to the congress center. Otherwise not recommended at all.

03/04/2025: Good for an older hotel, but staff just walked in without advance notice while I was working inside of the room. Twice this happened in 1 day.

25/03/2025: Recently I came to this pub with my 1-year-old baby for lunch. When I asked for a table, a short, elderly waiter told me that there was nothing to do with a child in the pub, that I should eat at home. A disgusting man. I don't recommend this pub to anyone.

05/04/2025: By far the worst service I’ve ever received in my life. Went with my friend tonight (5/4/25) and was appalled with the staff. They were blatantly rude to us the whole meal. I had booked this dinner at 5pm on a Saturday night for 2 people. When we arrived we were immediately shouted at asking for ID and what age we were. We are both 19 and handed the man our ID’s. As he was looking at them another man came up to us to question our age. We said we are 19 and have a reservation for food. The two began to shout about how they shouldn’t let us in as it is against house rules and they are 21s today. We were confused as this was not advertised anywhere on the website nor was explained when we booked the table. They acted like they were doing us a favour by letting us eat and made a big show of taking away the drinks menu from the table we were sat at. Might I add, we were the only table in this place, not that I’m surprised. We then ordered our food and I asked, to double check, if he was certain that we could not order a drink. He completely switched up his fake politeness into a voice of disgust, saying obviously we cannot order a drink. I would genuinely understand this if it was 7pm or after on a Saturday night, but at 5pm with your only table? We felt thoroughly disrespected by these 2 employees and they will be the main reason we will never return. To make matters worse, when i asked for the bill the employee made a snide remark about why we wouldn’t want to say in the establishment for longer. The food was standard and price was good, but no price is worth enduring the staff. I honestly struggked to pay the bill as I felt it was too much for the joke of an evening I had. As a hospitality worker myself I can honestly say I have never experienced such an abysmal experience in a restaurant. If I could give this 0 stars I would.

04/04/2025: We held our annual Nutrition x Engineering Ball upstairs in McGowans for the second year in a row and we can certainly say it did not disappoint! Ellen and all the team were so accommodating, assisting us with any issues. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much guys for allowing us host an amazing evening - the highlight of the Nutrition Society’s year🔥🥰🫶🏻

15/02/2025: Went up to this bar it was pretty busy. We were over for a few nights from England. Glen on the security was very kind and got us seats at the back . Met people from USA UK and Ireland a very cool and mixed bar . It made our weekend . Charlie I think was the girl behind the bar. ❤️ We were refused from lots of bars because there was ten of us. But this place was great

22/02/2025: It was a last second stop, didn’t know about this place as we live quite far from it. But oh my goodness, it’s perfect. My son and I got our iced mocha decaf and a wrap. Coffee was delicious and food was amazing too. Definitely we will be back for more 🥰 Service was absolutely lovely 🥰

21/04/2025: Went down yesterday for dinner on Easter Sunday. First of all couldn’t book through the app at all fans then went to book through messenger got no response so I had to ring up and check the day before. Got a confirmation booking for 6 people at 1.30 and I had booked for 3 people art 12.30. The food itself wasn’t great, I went for the turkey which tasted cold, carrots that were chewy and also tasted cold ( I know some people like them like that) but not me, the cabbage was okay but bearly enough on plate for 2 mouth fulls. The gravy on side was lumpy like it had been pre-made and just left there in serving dishes. I was expecting a bit of atmosphere considering it was Easter instead we were listening to the chef talk about her weekend and same with waitresses as there was no music on and not even an Easter egg handed out to young children. Will probably never eat here again

25/03/2025: My first time at this cafe and I loved it. It is a hidden spot but with a lot to deliver. Pleasant atmosphere that allows you to work calmly. The staff very friendly and attentive. The prices are incredible when compared to the rest of the cafes. My chai latte and my chocolate cake cost me 7 euros, it could have been less since later I noticed that they had some promotions that are worth trying. I will definitely return to try the entire menu 💚💚💚💚
