The best restaurants in Dublin

10/06/2025: I want to start by saying the food was really nice here and the staff were really really lovely but the fun ended there. We arrived here 4 mins early for our 4pm booking and were turned away and asked to come back in 10 mins because of a private function. We were not offered any compensation for this, even a drink for the inconvenience. When we got inside, (the place is really nice inside) but we couldn't sit in this seat because there was a private function on upstairs and when I tell you the atrocious noise that came from there was utterly insane. I couldn't' even make out if the musician was any good because the PA was literally the worst PA on the planet. All you could hear was screaming and shouting. I asked was this party here often and I was told it was the first time. I absolutely love Brazilian music and that's what this party claimed to be playing. More like an insult to Brazil. We were moved out the back to the cold, but there were heaters and so we were grand. Then the staff put the house music on through the speakers to try drown out the cacophonous din of hell coming from upstairs, that made it all worse and we nearly left but I had pre bought a living social voucher so I was a bit determined to stay. They EVENTUALLY turned down the house music and all we could do was laugh and vow never to return. I can't understand why management didn't give me warning that the level of screaming down a microphone would be present the same time as me and my party were attending. Forewarned is forearmed and all that. I had my booking for nearly 2 weeks and someone should have given me the opportunity to make alternative arrangements. If i had have had the head's up, I could have said "well at least they told me". I won't be returning here for the way that management run the place. But again, the girls who served us were really lovely and of course the "party" wasn't their fault. Bad management, probably won't last much longer for that reason. Shame, the food was really good.

08/06/2025: Really surprised by the vegana pizza here. It was full of flavour, fresh basil, plus vegan parmesan. Highly recommend. Pints of G are yum too. And not at bad prices either

18/04/2025: The Double Smash Burger is a must try!!! Juicy patties and a perfect bun make for a delicious, satisfying "craving" meal :) Friendly staff and a clean food truck add to the great experience. Highly recommended 100%

13/06/2025: We ordered the Irish Seafood Chowder and the Steak Ciabatta. Presentation was inviting but that’s where our expectations were disappointing. The Irish Seafood Chowder was only warm and lacked any seafood. When asked if it could be hot we were told no because we ate out of the bowl. We were not asking for anything except to put into microwave for 1 min. The Steak Ciabatta bread and dressing were very good but the steak was as thin as the pickle. The steak was cooked well done. To end on a high note, our beers were cold. Note: Everyone in our party had trouble paying with their US based credit cards. Lady said the system goes down many times. We had to pay in cash. Never will go back

03/06/2025: First time having breakfast at Fitzgerald’s & it was pretty bad especially the eggs,at those prices you would expect real eggs!

25/05/2025: I enjoy visiting this place because it is well-organised and has friendly staff. The coffee has a great flavour, and I always order a cappuccino. There's an option to sit outside, but I prefer sitting indoors. Whenever I have time, I never miss the chance to have the Full Irish Breakfast.

23/05/2025: The waitress was prestative and welcoming. I tried the sandwiches and sausage rolls tasty, and well-prepared. I recommend.

17/05/2025: Food was tasty! The choice was good-for carnivores, vegetarians & pescatarians. The dessert with the cheesecakes was slightly too much. The best time to book is probably at 19:00 / 19:30 because the system goes as first come first serve but the show actually starts at 20:30 - the food will be quickly served so you won’t go hungry. There’s no way you can be seated in the middle if you don’t book as a big group and too early :/ Drinks are not included and slightly pricey. Each musician receives at least a solo two which is nice. Clap all you can and cheer on for them talented and motivated irish dancers! All in all - well worth your money.

17/04/2025: Smashing pub, I say pub as that’s what it is, go have a drink/sesh, I went alone and I was there with the locals no bother at all, had a laugh with them, the pub has a fast choice of drinks, and I say fair priced too

01/06/2025: What a wonderful lunch. The wait for lunch was well worth it. A very small venue, small kitchen and staff. Food was marvelous. Don’t hesitate.

31/05/2025: Wildly overpriced for reheated pasta, frozen chips, and salad bags from Dunnes. The crab linguini tasted so fishy, not like a lovely fresh seafood way like in an old fish kind of way. Oysters were good but very expensive.

22/05/2025: Went there today and had a pizza 🍕 which was incredible 😲 The service to match. Very attentive and friendly without interruption. My wife had ravioli and wine, both excellent. We finished with tiramisu and coffee, again can only praise staff and chefs! Definitely will be back.

29/04/2025: Ristorante/pab fuori Dublino, troppo distante se non si possiede un mezzo o se non si prende un taxi ma la spesa incide abbastanza, dal centro di Dublino, dal ponte piu famoso "Ha' penny" alla location sono 30 € andata, e 30 € ritorno. Gradevole l'impatto appena arrivati, una struttura a due piani. L'interno: più tradizionale a pianterreno, al 1°piano una grande sala con lunghe tavolate e palchetto per spettacolo ( quest'ultima, la classica "sala turistica"). Possibilità di scelta tra menu di pesce o carne di 3 portate: antipasto, secondo, una fetta di torta alle mele, una caraffa d'acqua dal rubinetto. Scelto il menù di carne al costo di € 64 p.p.+ intrattenimento. L' antipasto era inconsistente: "3 piccole/piccole mousse" di formaggio con sfoglia e un pomodorino e qualche foglia di verdura. ( diciamo che se ci si aspetta un antipasto tipico dublinese non ci siamo proprio, sarebbe stato preferibile dire che il menù è di 2 portate e non di 3 ). Il secondo: "stufato di manzo" e "fetta di torta" buoni. Le bevande escluse. Lo spettacolo al di là delle canzoni e della musica dei musicisti, a tratti più coinvolgente, i ballerini molto ripetitivi. Mi dispiace dirlo ma in centro ci sono proposte sicuramente più valide e convenienti.

27/03/2025: El show fue fantástico, divertido y divertido. La curva es una gran cantidad de interacción con la audiencia y muchos datos interesantes. Los bailarines eran grandes y profesionales. No comimos pero puedes comprar boleto con la cena.

14/03/2025: Este era un pequeño pub genial. Nos encantó el ambiente relajado, con un montón de rincones acogedores para sentarse, y tenían una fantástica selección de cervezas. El personal estaba muy bien informado sobre lo que tenían y nos recomendó un par de stouts con sabor muy agradable. No comimos aquí, pero la comida se veía bastante bien. También es amigable para perros, que siempre obtiene puntos de bonificación de nosotros.
