The best restaurants in Dublin

17/04/2025: My girlfriend and I decides to go to Laylas Rooftop after many recommendations. We went to celebrate an Special Night between us and couldn’t be even better Everything was amazing since the moment that we arrived, the place it’s lovely, and the service was even better want to shot out the amazing service of Rodrigo, he was super attentive, respectful and friendly with us, he made our night even more memorable. Definitely we will be back!

15/04/2025: Layla's charges €2 for tap water. That's a new low in hospitality. We spent €120 on dinner, which was pretty good. But we told them we weren't paying for tap water. They removed the charge. What next, a charge for a clean napkin? In general the night was pretty good. Aoife the manager was lovely.

26/03/2025: I ordered an iced tea for €4.50 because it was on the menu. After a while, they brought me a Lipton bottle, saying they didn’t know how to make an iced tea. I refused it and asked for a refund. The staff said they would refund me in a few days, but it’s been over a week, and I never got my money back. They also didn’t give me a receipt. Very disappointing experience.

22/03/2025: First time in Dublin. Came to this place and tried the famous coxinha de frango from Brazil it was absolutely delicious 😋 then obviously had to try the Churros and I couldn’t recommend more this place absolutely stunning. Paola was amazing and very friendly! Visit if you can you wont regret it

26/03/2025: Incredibly disappointing. Ordered three curries however the accompanying rice and noodles were missed off the order. I tried calling giving an opportunity to resolve however they just directed me back to Deliveroo and hung up.

31/03/2025: A perfect hotel. Everything was brand new and it was very nice of them to let us leave our luggage. The staff was very nice. The location is also very central, we walked to most places :)

06/04/2025: Maybe it was a bad night, but the food was not great. I had fish and chips and I left most of it. The fish was frozen and not deep fried in hot oil, it was very soggy.

01/02/2025: The food was very good, we ate pizza and it was wonderful, the staff were all very friendly and attentive, as for the place, it was a bit cramped. But it was a family atmosphere.

15/04/2025: I confess, I didn't realize Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel was a "real" castle with a long history (c. 1741). Our stay was exceptional -- the staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was large and our request for a "high room away from elevators: was met. Altho the carpet could use updating, the room was immaculate, the bathroom large. The balcony was spacious and offered fabulous views of the Irish Sea. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety and a friendly staff. We enjoyed wings and steak frites in the Dungeon Bar -- loved it's dark & cozy atmosphere. It's proximity to the DART led us to Bray, and we walked easily from the hotel to Dalkey for a tour of the castle there. Also within easy driving distance of Powerscourt House and Gardens. For whatever reason, I expected a touristy vibe, but it was not at all. Would happily return to Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel.

15/04/2025: The family room was great, really spacious. Nice pool and gym. The choice for breakfast was comprehensive and the staff were lovely.

06/03/2025: This is a fantastic pub. Staff and regulars all sound, pints are well priced and they serve food from the restaurant next door. Great buzz in the place on weekend nights. 10/10

21/04/2025: Idk what the other people commenting on here are smoking, but this food was awful. Watered down soupy chicken tikka masala, dry pakoras, tasteless keema naan - the food here was objectively horrendous. Sure, the prices are good, but that’s because they cut corners and skimped on actual flavor. They just overload the dishes with spiciness to cover up the taste of their food. We have way better Indian takeaway in the area, I’d personally stay away from this place.

19/04/2025: We ordered the tasting meal for 2 take-away. We were on holidays in Dublin and just chanced it. We were delighted with the food as it was full of flavour, fresh and tasty and a good amount of it. We had the chicken Tikka Old Delhi Style and Seekh Kebab for starter and the lamb Korma and Punjabi style chicken Chana for Main. All very tasty, the dips and the naan were delicious too . Would definitely recommend and if I would live in Dublin, it would be definitely one to order from!

26/02/2025: Ordered delivery to the hotel. The courier didn't even get out of the car. The appearance of the rolls is unsatisfactory. It's horrible. There was practically no cream cheese. Salt and pepper are not included with the order, which was also disappointing, so the noodle dish turned out bland for me. In general, the taste of the dishes is normal, but I will not order here again and will not recommend it to anyone.

21/04/2025: Worst food, in the name of Indian food they are serving some different cuisine itself, I had biryani there, felt like it's rice and chicken with a lot of turmeric, Comeon .

19/03/2025: Dine here often - staff are very friendly amd customer focused. I have a daughter who is on the spectrum and the staff are always very accomodating when we visit. Food is always top class - recommend to all.
