11/09/2025: I had an incredible dining experience at Chilli Banana. The roasted duck was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked with crispy skin and tender. The cocktails were also top-notch, well-balanced and full of flavor — definitely worth trying a few. Amazing friendly and attentive service Highly recommend if you're looking for amazing Thai food, great drinks, and top-class service.

10/09/2025: The food in the bistro, corned beef, was the best I ever had. The chicken salad I had later in the pub/restaurant was the best salad I have ever had. I would be happy to just eat both of those things for the rest of my life.

18/08/2025: Staff not very welcoming apart from the lady who welcomed us upon arrival, room not exceptional considering the price and breakfast which is pitiful to see. Behind the character of the building, there is not much. Proximity to the road very noisy and no air conditioning in the rooms.

04/08/2025: I have so many fond memories of The Clarence. When I heard of the substantial renovations it was about to undergo, I decided to book a stay there at the end of July as a sort of 'goodbye' to the scene of so many good times. Though some of the rooms have been looking a bit worn of late, 303 was still in great condition. Check-in was easy, and the sets of double windows minimized noise from the quays. There is a real charm to the look and feel of the rooms - the well-built, practical cabinets, the subtle gold tiling accenting the bath. I fear most of it will be replaced by whatever happens to be trendy as the refit is undertaken, but hopefully some of what made the place special will survive. Most of all, it's a real loss to see the hotel staff scattered to the winds. I sadly didn't get his name, but I'd like to especially highlight the kindness and care of the staff member who was manning reception on August 4th. I nipped in with a last minute request, and he (and the colleague he found to assist me) could not have been more gracious, even as the hotel was being packed up and closed around him. So long to The Clarence. What a great run.

31/10/2025: Had a really disappointing experience today.I hyped this place up and dragged my friend to try. First of all menu change was disappointing. Only offered chicken broths or vegan and no tontoksu which feels like a crime in itself. We got the OG ramen with chicken broth and it was served so lukewarm and went completely ice cold within 10 minutes which is not good enough considering it wasn’t even that busy. Only one of the waitresses in day delivered a friendly service however the service from other waitress was not. whenever we tried to ask questions about the menu or ask for anything in general it was an uncomfortable experience. the cooks looked like they didn’t want to be there at all it was just an overall grim atmosphere to dine in such a small place with limited menu it just wasn’t good enough. Please do better :(

28/10/2025: The taste has really gone downhill over the years. The flavor just isn’t the same anymore, especially with yuzu ramen. I tasted no yuzu at all. I get that they are giving filtered water so they charge but there should be an option to have free tap water, otherwise it’s a rip-off, just another way to get your money. The prices don’t match up with what’s advertised online and in store too.

20/10/2025: I have been going to the Gallery Lounge at The Westbury for years. The food is excellent and the staff are always top class. The surroundings and atmosphere are wonderful and while everything is elegant and classy, the atmosphere is relaxed. Always a joy to visit there.

09/06/2025: Absolutely lovely wee place, my boyfriend and I ordered a portion of chips and some drinks and both were excellent. The staff are so friendly and polite, and made you feel so welcome. We would definitely recommend.

16/08/2025: Realmente decepcionado con la comida de hoy en juniors. Estoy particularmente sorprendido con el precio de un sándwich glorificado. El pollo a la parrilla era como goma. Lo que me dejó plantado fue el 12. 5% Servicio cobrado! Esto era para 4 personas. En serio chicos esto es impactante... Usted no es un restaurante, es un pequeño café que sirve desayunos y sándwiches. € 90 por 4 sándwiches de pollo a la parrilla, 1 botella de cerveza y 1 coca. Lo único positivo fue que el personal era muy agradable

09/10/2025: Great Private Gated Apartment Community. Very quite & very well cared for. Ideal location, close to all public transportation.

14/10/2025: Stayed there for two nights with my family (4 people). A very friendly welcome, a great bar and restaurant, and a top-notch breakfast. The rooms, including the bathroom, were spacious and clean. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated. Free underground parking is available. Dublin Airport is easily accessible by car in about 30 minutes. I highly recommend the hotel; I would go back anytime; it's excellent value for money.

11/10/2025: Extremely disappointing experience. I walked in and sat down, but no one brought me a menu, even though one of the waitresses clearly saw me. After waiting, I had to get up and ask a gentleman at the bar for a menu myself. I then sat for nearly 20 minutes without anyone approaching my table. Eventually, the same gentleman noticed and asked if no one had come to me yet which said it all. When the food finally arrived, the same staff who had ignored me earlier continued to look over but never once checked if the food was okay or if I needed anything else I couldn’t even finish my meal without having another drink. For a restaurant that appears well-presented, the service was shockingly poor from start to finish. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience.
