30/10/2024: Ordered from the spice cottage for a number of years. Prices have been going up and portion sizes have been getting smaller and smaller over the past year. This review is specifically related to the last order which was an hour late, arrived cold, and didn’t include an item which I paid for. They lied and said they couldn’t refund me (even though they took money for something they didn’t deliver), before their manager then said he would refund my card. Two weeks later and no refund.

05/07/2024: Had the weirdest experience where despite waiting in line, owner gave us a lecture about showing up with 6 people. We offered to split up and then he said we “stressed them out.” Then went on for another several minutes about how they couldn’t accommodate dietary restrictions. Weirdest passive aggressive messaging of “you can’t eat here” while also explicitly saying “don’t leave” every time we offered to.
Most of our group ended up walking away and the two who stayed had a good experience. TLDR: if you’re a tourist don’t show up in groups of more than 2 or draw attention to yourself in line in anyway and you’ll be fine.
05/07/2024: Just fell in love with this tiny venue with a huge soul. The food was humble and delicious; owners funny and delightful. Worth waiting for. Thank you!!

17/05/2024: We had our wedding with 26 guests and Darragh and Steven were knowledgeable, experienced and a pleasure to deal with. During the day, everybody knows their role, and you can just let yourself be guided. You are in great hands and can relax and enjoy your special day. The venue is beautiful as well and a good number of our relatives told us this is the best wedding they have ever been to.
14/05/2024: Darragh helped us plan our wedding day in No. 25. He was so helpful and had lots of great recommendations for suppliers. The day went by seamlessly thanks to Stephen and the team. We felt well looked after in the lead up to and on the day. The venue itself is so beautifully decorated and very well maintained. We had a fabulous day and would definitely recommend No. 25.

13/10/2024: I'm native of Dun Laoghaire who lives away, I went for a stroll and popped into Harry's for nostalgic purposes. While a lot has changed in the town I am glad Harry's hasn't. Still good service, good food at great prices. There is reason it has been on the same corner for so long. Doing the basics right,consistently.
