The best restaurants in Dublin

05/04/2026: ​I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant, and it was easily the highlight of my trip to Dublin. ​From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel incredibly welcome. The owner, who is also the chef, is absolutely sensational! His passion for his craft is evident, and he is one of the kindest and most personable hosts I have ever met. It’s rare to find such a warm, authentic connection in a restaurant these days. ​As for the food, it was truly exceptional, honestly the best Italian meal I have ever had. Every dish was prepared to perfection, bursting with authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients. ​If you are in Dublin and looking for a dining experience that combines world-class food with genuine, friendly service, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

05/04/2026: Authentic Italian food! Pastas, risottos, delicious! Good portion sizes as well! I was too hungry - ate two mains! Atmosphere is calm/relaxed, with quiet Italian music playing in the background! It’s a place for people to connect and communicate! Highly recommend for people looking for authentic Italian food!

21/02/2026: The whole experience was great. Staff were fantastic, very friendly, efficient and a pleasure to be served by them. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was outstanding, the flavours were unbelievable the wine choice was good. It will be a pleasure to go again, hopefully soon. Would highly recommend a visit to sample the great food and wine.

22/03/2026: Have eaten in Bang twice in the last 6 weeks or so. Each visit was a great success. Food and service were superb on each occasion. Buzzy atmosphere. Good value too, for the quality of what is on offer. Strongly recommend everything from the Favourites section of the menu. Tortilla is monumental.

15/02/2026: I had a wonderful experience. This was my second visit. Manager, owner and staff were really helpful in recommending us the food and drinks. We had veg platter, butter chicken, kofta and 2 desserts. There butter chicken is something exceptional. It has become my new go to place. Will visit soon.

04/04/2026: We stopped by this café while rushing to catch a coach trip, and the service was fantastic. The staff were incredibly accommodating and understood we were in a hurry straight away. They quickly prepared our food, provided takeaway cups for our drinks, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Despite the speed, the food was still really tasty and well priced. Great service when you need something quick without compromising on quality—highly recommend!

11/03/2026: Friendly welcome and popular spot. Food is Old fashioned, home style, with little flair or originality. Rustic/clumsy plating. Small tables and tightly packed. Poor value for money considering the delivery. €3 supplement for a single, small scallop served with pork belly.

07/03/2026: Food is very creative regarding taste and presentation. Not a profit chasing place. It's a friendly, warm atmosphere with experienced staff in kitchen and on the floor.

11/03/2026: The food was delicious but what really made the experience 5 stars was the exquisite service provided from no other than kris, Dima and Phylis. I went here for my little grandmothers 90th birthday, gave 4 stars for atmosphere because my grandma fell down the stairs and it ruined the vibe. Dima was quick to action and gave her CPR and revived her. Would definitely come again thank you very much

25/10/2025: My group and I loved the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. The people who work here are a JOY. We loved the happy vibes. Breakfast was filling and the lattes were great. Employees went above and beyond offering extra things to make our experience the best.

24/10/2025: During my stay in Dublin I had breakfast here twice since I loved the first one so much. Staff is super friendly and the food is really tasty. I had the bagel with salmon twice, I loved it and still think about it.

08/12/2025: My first, but DEFINITELY not my last, time in this joyous oasis of calm in a very frisky part of Dublin. (Artwork, both hanging & sculpture, is so beautifully curated and personal, btw, that it is a big part of the experience). I had the full Irish breakfast made to my personal specifications with no fuss whatsoever (apart from my own). When I changed my mind about the pot of tea, it was removed from both my bill and from my table! (Now that's class! 😎). The orange juice (and indeed apple, I did notice) is high-end pre-bottled, and served to one's preferred temperatures. Staff were uniformly kind and warm, as WELL as attentive and genuine. The owner/proprietor is obviously a gentleman. As previously stated, I do indeed intend to be back for this "breakfast of kings" (which actually served as my own breakfast/my late lunch AND as my early dinner, so generous were the portions on what was a very busy day).
