The best restaurants in Dublin

06/06/2025: Really enjoyable experience with superb food, and an owner who makes the dining experience so worthwhile. Everything was very clearly prepared with lots of care and the owner made a fantastic effort to make sure everyone got exactly what they wanted. Would highly recommend!

01/06/2025: I was concerned given the 4.9 stars that the reviews were faked, but I can assure you they were not. Risotto was truly exceptional. Owner is very friendly. Don't come in a hurry, the owner doesn't want to be rushed :P

28/05/2025: Myself and my wife celebrated our civil ceremony here, after searching for a few different places and finally deciding on BANG after reading reviews and viewing the restaurant. From the beginning, I had a great feeling about our reservation as it was clear they cared very much about providing an amazing experience. We booked the Scott Talon room for a group of 12 people and 2 babies. All the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The private room was perfect, set up to host the occasion perfectly. We were provided with some complimentary prosecco on arrival. The chefs even catered to a specific dessert request we had that was not on the set menu. Throughout the whole evening, the staff were always available, and you could tell that they were extremely committed to making sure we had an amazing dinner. I can't recommend them enough if you are looking to book a private room for a specific event. And the value for money was great. The food was amazing, and at a very reasonable price compared to all of the other restaurants we had looked at.

26/05/2025: A group of 12 of us had a memorable afternoon lunch in Bang last Friday 23rd May. We were in one of their private dining rooms - for which they didn't charge. Food was lovely, with a good choice. We had our own server who was quick, efficient, and really friendly. The room itself is large, airy, and roomy enough for mingling away from the table. There was no rushing us out and we stayed into the early evening with no problems. The full bar gave us a variety of drink options. Altogether a very special afternoon. Thanks to Carmel and all the staff there. We will be back for sure.

11/06/2025: I really love their Cheese Cake Tarts! It has the right amount of sweetness and it has a silky smooth texture! Makes you want to come back for more and staff are really friendly! 5 stars!

09/06/2025: What a wonderful little place. These tasty tarts are just sublime. The owner must have great expertise to produce such delicate, light and fluffy treats. It's like eating clouds! The gentleman even gave us two free to sample while we were sat eating. He is one of the most nicest and dignified individuals we have ever met. The world needs more people like him. Pay this place a visit, it's totally worth it.

28/05/2025: I recently visited Asahi Asian Street Food and had a great experience. The vegetarian spring rolls were crisp and flavorful, a perfect start to the meal. The cashew tofu with rice was delicious—perfectly cooked tofu with a nice crunch, coated in a rich, savory sauce with just the right amount of sweetness. The Tom Yam soup with tofu was a standout—aromatic, tangy, and comforting with a generous portion of tofu. Great flavors, fresh ingredients, and fast service made it a visit worth repeating.

01/06/2025: We visit Rasam quite frequently although recently we had not bern for a while. We booked a table for 3 for early sitting on a Saturday and the place was busy when we arrived. Great cosy vibes but not too noisy. We were seated quickly and served with papad and condiments which were fresh and delicious. My daughter ordered her favourite Trio chicken starter and butter chicken. My husband selected ajwain prawn starter and awadhi lamb. I was feeling quite hungry and chose veg thali. The staff know us so suggested to make our food a slightly spicier as we have previously requested that. I was delighted that they remembered our preferences given that we had not been for nearly a year. The food was delicious as always and well paced. Even though we knew that they needed the table back at 8:15, we were not rushed and even had time for dessert and coffee. It was a delight to go back and next time we might not leave it as long. We feel so fortunate that such a high quality, award winning, friendly restaurant with authentic tastes is within walking distance of our home.

02/06/2025: Dinner at Dax on a recent mid-week evening was a real treat. The ambience, the beautiful space, everything is superb. The service was excellent, professional & charming. I cannot recommend the food highly enough. This place is truly special. Merci.

26/05/2025: This restaurant is always packed for good reason! Make a reservation to avoid being disappointed, they have very limited seated. We shared the scallop and pork belly starter- amazing! Portion size is meant for one person, but it was a good taster for both of us. The lamb and short rib entrees were delicious! Would definitely come back again!

28/05/2025: Lovinspoon was the perfect place to get an authentic and delicious Traditional Irish Breakfast! The service was top notch, all staff were friendly and lovely! The food was absolutely fantastic. We went for the Big Breakfast and the Small Breakfast which was more than enough - brilliant portion sizes! But the best thing was the taste - we especially enjoyed the sausages and pancakes. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in Dublin, wishing for an authentic experience.
