The best restaurants in Dublin

16/09/2026: We spontaneously booked a table the evening before and still got one. The food was fantastic! The appetizers are especially recommended as they are absolutely delicious. A real change from the standard butter chicken! Anyone who loves Indian food and good cuisine will be thrilled.

18/09/2026: This was our favorite meal that we had during our time in Dublin. Service was incredible, & the ambiance is also wonderful. For appetizers we enjoyed the salmon carpaccio, 2 different types of oysters, as well as scallops. All of which were amazing! The manhattans we had were delicious as well. Next we enjoyed the catch of the day, as well as the sea bass entree. Both were delicious. We will be undoubtedly return to dine at Sole on our next trip to Dublin!

12/09/2026: From the time when part of my meal was served it took over 40 minutes to get my coffee and after 1 hour and 20 minutes was still not served my egg..it was all ordered at the same time..I paid the bill and left with never receiving my egg

15/09/2026: Great pub, beautiful decor, rich selection of craft beers and great place for food. Craft beer and International beer selection is wonderful. A good local whiskey selection. This popular bar always provides a lovely atmosphere and never fails to deliver.

17/09/2026: Fantastic experience doing the tasting menu and a couple drinks. Portions were proper sized and the service was absolutely wonderful. A great place to go for dishes full of flavor and to mix up the flavor profiles in dublin.

19/07/2026: Just had a lovely meal here this evening. Walked in after the all Ireland hurling final and we ordered two chicken (butter and curry), naan bread and side rice. More than enough food and complementary popadoms were served. Service is very efficient and friendly.

26/08/2026: My nephew and I had the pleasure of dining here during our trip to Ireland. The chef's tasting menu was top notch. After our experience, I would definitely never miss a chance to eat the monk fish, which is among the best bites I've ever tasted. Honestly, if you are not going out of your way to eat here, you are really missing a world-class opportunity. We have had the luxury of experiencing a number of Michelin-starred plates, but these really made an impression.

22/08/2026: Was lucky enough to be brought here for my birthday a few weeks ago. It was an absolutely stand out meal - the best meal we've had in Dublin in years (and maybe even ever?). Each course was so perfectly constructed - the flavours, the textures, the presentation. Normally with these tasting menus there are a couple of dishes that are just OK - this was not the case with this one! They had a new monkish dish on the menu that night which was a total showstopper. I also love that some dishes were more European / French and others were clearly Asian/ Thai, so lovely to have the variety and not be too heavy. We did the chef's table and made a last minute decision to do the wine pairing which was a total highlight (as well as generous). Service was excellent & very friendly. Don't miss it!

06/08/2026: Went there pre the Betis v Arsenal match at the Aviva. Very well staffed, great service, great atmosphere - if i ever get vackvtobthe Aviva i'll certainly head back to the Beggars Bush 👍

24/09/2026: We’ve had these guys cater for our company twice now, and they’ve been fantastic both times! The food is absolutely delicious, everyone always enjoys it, and they’re such a pleasure to deal with. We’ll definitely be having them back for our next event! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

31/08/2026: Great Guinness and atmosphere. Went in a couple of times including after the Bon Jovi gig at Croke Park. The live singer played lots of stuff to get people singing and enjoying themselves. Staff a very efficient and one of the cheaper pints in Temple Bar

22/08/2026: Live music with horrible Infrastructure which made the evening difficult to enjoy. Not one word was understandable and the bass was one big noise

25/12/2025: Really poor service for a second time at this branch, last time we ate here the waiter left the food on the table with a grunt and no explanation of what the dish was or who it was for. This time it was a take away order with the staff member completely ignoring our presence for several minutes whilst they continue to wash dishes at the counter. Never again. Do better.

18/07/2026: Avoid this place, the brazilian "security" guy there is very rude, he have an attitude, not good for security. I always use to go to this place to have few pints but today I found a security guy who didin't let me in.. He was very rude, but I didin't want to create problems so I let it slide. Anyway, -1 loyal customer.

19/09/2026: The food itself was quite good, but the service was terrible. The older woman who seemed to be the manager was incredibly rude and condescending. When we asked if we could share the dish, she said “We don’t do that here outside of Korea.” That was quite ironic, considering I’m Korean myself and have been living outside Korea for nearly 10 years. We didn’t make an official complaint because we didn’t want to make a fuss, but her attitude came across as extremely presumptuous and dismissive. Her attitude felt xenophobic and unnecessarily patronizing toward a fellow Korean, which made the entire experience very uncomfortable. I’m not entirely sure if she was actually the manager, but she appeared to be older than the rest of the staff. This is a restaurant that respects foreigners. I would like to share it, but I asked if you could leave out the sauce, and here it is. It's not a sharing culture. ...and so on. (I'm from the UK, by the way...;) Also, the food came out extremely late, they missed a few items from our order, and even though we clearly ordered, they served us the missing items and then told us that we hadn't ordered. The part-time staff working with her were incredibly kind and friendly, but the main server—the one who seemed to be the oldest or the most senior there—was... If she had lived abroad for a long time, she would have actually wanted to treat Koreans better... I really just came here for a short weekend trip because I wanted to eat Korean food, so it really hurt my feelings. I hesitated a lot because I was worried I might look like a difficult customer, but I feel like I have to leave a review, so I am posting this.
