The best restaurants in Dublin

11/07/2025: En general, no es lo que esperaba con un restaurante de comida rápida de hamburguesas en el nivel inferior con maravillosas papas fritas con ajo. Nos tomó un minuto darnos cuenta de que era un bar gay porque era temprano en el día cuando lo visitamos. La cerveza estaba fría y el ambiente era regular. No me desviaría de mi camino para visitarlo.

06/07/2025: The guy with the double pierced earrings, nose rings and wearing the tartened shorts and working the top bar in a green Heineken t shirt told us to leave when looking at another persons id (whom was turned away). We made no effort to correct him at all, we were having the crack with the lad who was rejected. We then were told to “Shut Up, finish your drinks and leave”. Very angry individual to be working with the public. ****The rejected individual was not in our party**** We left immediately when our drinks where finished as staff like that should not be around the public if they cannot handle high pressure situations.

06/07/2025: Me and my partner went here on a date todat,First time to eat in this restaurant food was absolutely amazing staff and services was amazing couldn't of done any more for us definitely be back again

18/06/2025: It's a must-go if you're nearby. We ended up there by chance. We were in the pub and wanted something to eat. It was explained to us that the restaurant was on the first floor. A server took us upstairs and handed us over to the man in charge. He gave us a friendly welcome, gave us advice, and served us. The food was really good, as was the soup starter. After we'd finished our meal and wanted to order a Guinness as our third beer, he just told us that the one downstairs in the pub served the best Guinness in Dublin, and that it would be cheaper than in a restaurant with waiter service. Great info. When we asked at the bar for the man who supposedly served the best Guinness in Dublin, he laughed and asked if we were looking for him, the man who served the best Guinness in all of Ireland. It was a really convivial evening in the pub, surrounded by locals; we were the only tourists in the pub. The man at the bar even served older guests at tables. Great, really great

09/07/2025: Glas is a Vegetarian Restaurant. Ambience is quiet and good to explore if you would like to explore different options in Vegetarian.

07/07/2025: The best spot for veggie lovers in Dublin. Delicious food, friendly staff and cocktails are a great bonus. Every time I have something to celebrate, I go to Glas, I love this place

12/07/2025: A pub in downtown Dublin dedicated to Christmas. Highly recommended! From the moment you walk in, you're immersed in Christmas decorations and lights. I recommend going during the week because it's packed on the weekends. Even if you arrive and don't have a table, take a look around its many corners and, even if you're standing, have a drink to enjoy the moment.

14/07/2025: We expected a nice and cosy evening with good Italian food and conservation. The food was pretty good and authentic. However, after our dessert and just 1h 20 min in the restaurant we received the bill without any comment or question if we would like another drink. A shame that such a nice experience (until that point) got destroyed in 10 seconds. We did not like more drinks after that.. but we would have loved to stay!

12/07/2025: Went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. The service was good, but the table we were given was right next to the bar (not ideal) and unfortunately quite dusty. The meal started off okay, but the pasta was very disappointing — I could definitely make a better one myself. For what I paid, I expected much more.

28/07/2025: First visit to Featherblade but definitely won't be our last. Excellent food at good prices & good wine & drinks list! Staff very friendly & attentive (but not overly so which we don't like!) Looking forward to revisiting very soon

27/07/2025: Title Says It All Folks! Dined here last Night with a couple of Friends and was really looking forward to a Great meal, and Catch up. 50% of this expectation happened. First things first - The Good - The Food and Especially the Steak! This was my 3rd or 4th time dining at Featherblade, and time and time again they deliver Top Quality Steaks and their own unique burger which are to die for! Genuinely can't complain about any of the food last night, it was all to die for and plates were cleaned by me and my colleagues. ........However. THE BAD..... As I said earlier, this was my 3rd or 4th time dining here, and genuinely every previous time I left without a single complaint and if you go back on Tripadvisor you will find a review or 2 from myself raving about the place. This time guys I'm afraid your service really left a lot to be desired. The Booking - I actually tried to reach out to this restaurant many times by phone as I had a few questions about a voucher I had. For Weeks I rang during opening hours and could almost recite their voicemail as nobody ever picks up the phone. Since I wasn't getting anywhere with the Phone I tried what they reccomend in their voicemail, Email! Guess what folks, nobody picked up that either and it was only when I ended up CCing the owner of the restaurant, (Yes really), that I finally got a response to my second email to them in 2 weeks. I ended up booking on their website which worked fine, but come on guys, your communication needs to be better. The Service - Genuinely what probably annoyed me the most about the whole experience last night. Arrived on time for the booking and was seated straight away. I thought, "Hey We're in for another fantastic Experience in this place!". Well lets just say the servers took forever with our food orders, We ordered Drinks, which never arrived at the table, but guess what? THEY WERE ON THE BILL AT THE END!!! When I pointed that out they were quick to remove it but really guys, the service was very very bad last night. The Biggest insult I have to say though was halfway through our deserts we ended up getting told to "Hurry Along, as we need the table back in 10 minutes for the next customer". Folks bear in mind it 9pm at this point and while I'm delighted to hear that your business is flying with bookings going late into the night, your servers really need to learn some common courtesy. I Felt like the server almost spat on us when I didn't leave a tip last night upon being presented with the correct bill in the end but guess what lads, BAD SERVICE = 0 Tip! Plain and Simple! I can't believe I'm actually saying this folks but if your looking for a Good Steakhouse probably advised to look elsewhere. Standards have slipped in this once fantastic hidden Gem of Dublin!

16/07/2025: The shawarma was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The chicken was juicy, the garlic sauce was tasty, and the wrap held together well. Great for a quick bite , would definitely get it again.

27/06/2025: I was in Dublin on Sunday and wanted to have a quick snack. I bought some chicken wings and they were so good that I ordered more. Best chicken wings I have tried so far. And staff was really nice. I will be back again when I am back in Dublin.

08/07/2025: An unexpected discovery. Delicious pizzas, more than friendly service and a very cozy place. To return!!!

03/07/2025: Coffee costs €5. Asked for a cappuccino and was given a flat white. I was told they only do cappuccinos in mini size ie a flat white. Would not go back

03/07/2025: Urbanity in Smithfield is an absolute gem. I dropped in solo during a busy lunchtime and was so impressed by how friendly and efficient the staff were. Even with a full house, I was looked after right away. I had a halloumi and poached egg dish on sourdough with hot sauce — fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully put together. The vibe is urban and industrial, but still feels cozy and welcoming, with soft music and a relaxed atmosphere. My iced chai latte was hands down one of the best I’ve had. They roast their own coffee beans too, and judging by the number of coffees flying out, it’s clearly a favourite with locals. What made it even better was the personal touch — I had a lovely chat with my server about the area and got great tips on places to explore nearby. Highly recommend if you’re in Dublin city and looking for a great café with amazing food, top-notch coffee, and a genuinely welcoming vibe.

18/07/2025: Café serves some amazing food. We had breakfast and we weren't disappointed. All our dishes were flavoursome.

13/07/2025: One of our favourite places to get lunch from, delicious food and helpful staff - Yan and her team are always pleasant to visit. Shoutout to the pesto halloumi sandwich on gluten-free bread, delicious!

09/07/2025: A gem of a place - a coffee and a pastel in here is one of Dublin's great little pleasures.

04/07/2025: Update from 22/06/2025 - Something must've changed in this Cafe. Espresso was not great, I'd say the coffee machine needs proper cleaning, and the Natas were just ok. You can see that the pastry is not the same as before. It's almost Lidl level. Disappointed, I have to say. Best pastel de nata in Ireland... enough said. But if you're a true connoisseur of portuguese pastry, you'll be rewarded also with Tortas de Azeitão, Pão de Deus, Bolas de Berlim, Bolo-Rei (during Christmas time), and much more. This place really gives a small taste of what a portuguese cafe is.

26/06/2025: Este lugar sirve un gran desayuno / almuerzo, fue uno de los muchos aspectos destacados de mi viaje de tres días a Dublín. Puedo recomendar los huevos en hashbrown con carne ahumada añadida.
