The best restaurants in Dublin

11/07/2025: A fantastic casual Middle Eastern restaurant offering some of the best kebabs I dublin. The portions are generous at the price point and the food is great quality. I have taken the mixed kebab on several occasions and the meat is always hot and tender. The salads are fresh and the dressing tasty. The falafel is freshly prepared and delicious. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and will chat away. It is a casual restaurant and you definitely get the middle eastern welcome. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

28/06/2025: Surprisingly, we managed to get a halal food in the middle of temple bar. The food is yummy, portion was big, the shop is well decorated.

07/07/2025: Excellent food and service in an authentic Italian restaurant. The Asti pizza is the best pizza in the world 🌎 😋 I was there again at the weekend and it was excellent as usual. Thanks for the great food and service 🙌

14/07/2025: I had the smoked salmon and scrambled egg from the brunch menu - egg was a little too soft and mushy - I prefer it to be a bit more chewy - that's my preference so not a fault with the food itself! We ate outside and it was quite noisy with all the traffic - will try indoor seating next time!

19/06/2025: Great place to eat! The food is delicious and the portions are at a reasonable size for their price, the prices are really good! The service is very good and fast, the workers are very kind and friendly. The atmosphere is very nice and calm and I very much enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this place if you're ever in Dublin!

13/06/2025: My husband Kevin and I celebrated our wedding reception at Medley, Dublin this May and we truly couldn’t have imagined a better place to host the best day of our lives. As two proud Dubs, we always knew we wanted a city-centre wedding. We chose Smock Alley for our ceremony, and after a short (and very scenic!) 10-minute stroll, with a few stops at some of Dublin’s iconic pubs of course, our guests arrived at Medley for the reception. From our first visit right through to the final dance, the team at Medley, especially our coordinator Chris, went above and beyond. This type-A bride sent hundreds of emails and had a million little questions, and not once did I feel like anything was too much. They made everything feel effortless, personal, and seamless. We were after a vibe that was laid-back but beautiful, and a space where all generations, could feel relaxed and spoiled. Medley delivered all that and more. The food was a standout — not your standard wedding fare, but something genuinely special and delicious. No soup or meat-and-two-veg here (unless you want it, in which case they’d still nail it). We would recommend Medley a thousand times over. Every time we walk through Dublin city centre now, we get to pass by the place where we had one of the happiest days of our lives, and that still gives us a little buzz. I have no doubt we’ll be back again soon as guests, raising a glass to someone else’s big day.

03/06/2025: Popped in here just by chance and found some beautiful and creamy pints of Guinness. The staff were really friendly and delivered the pints to the table. This is a really comfortable, well located, nicely staffed and great Guinness-pouring place. If you are in the area do not give it a miss. I am already looking forward to getting back!

19/07/2025: È quasi come mangiare in Italia. Il proprietario e alcuni camerieri sono calabresi. Il personale sono amichevole. Il cibo è eccellente e la carta dei vini è ben curata. La pasta è fatta in casa e si poi vedere la preparazione della pasta fresca mentre mangia. Come antipasto, io e mia moglie abbiamo condiviso il Pane in Cassata, delizioso, ma davvero troppo piccolo per essere condiviso (errore nostro). Mia moglie ha preso i Balanzoni, un piatto bolognese, ed erano tra i ravioli più buoni che abbia mai mangiato (meglio di quelli di mia madre). Io ho preso Fileja al Ragù, buoni, ma non allo stesso livello dei Balanzoni. Abbiamo ordinato una bottiglia di vino arancione calabrese, prodotto con uve Zibibbo, che era eccezionale. Ho letto le recensioni negative e non capisco.

04/07/2025: We were very lucky to get a cancellation booking to this amazing restaurant. Deliciously fresh pasta rolled in front of you, perfectly sized portions meant you could enjoy both nibbles, starters, a main, and a dessert for a very reasonable price. This is worth the persistence to get a booking!

25/06/2025: We only stopped for coffees and fruit scones... The warm scones were the best we've had in a long while... Melted butter and raspberry jam set us up for the morning. The coffee was excellent (real coffee - not like some of these coffee-shop chains) depth and flavour. Can't wait to sample some more of the pastries!!!... M&M
