02/08/2026: Very nice mocha, and would definitely return for another. Minus 1 star for the muffins. We bought muffins, and given the quality of the coffee, and at 4 euro you'd expect fresh and tasty pastries/buns. The muffins were average so my message to the owner would be, improve your pastries, to match your coffee. Found it a bit tight in there also but not much can be done with the space i guess.

28/06/2026: One of the best dining experiences going. The food is very special. You can see the efficient kitchen working. The staff are really slick and hospitable. It’s all about the food when you go out to eat though and it really is wonderful.

30/06/2026: O'Neills was the perfect place for lunch! There was no wait for a table, and the service was fantastic! Quick and very friendly. The bar itself was so charming. But the absolute star of O'Neills was the delicious food. My partner got the bangers and mash and I had the Beef Guinness pie. Both of these dishes were incredibly delicious. The Beef Guinness pie was made with a lot of love. The pastry was flaky and buttery - so good. The beef was tender and juicy. O'Neills is so good, I could eat there again and again. Highly recommend!

23/05/2026: Pub review - Nice small place. Food presented ok. Chips were good. Beer as it should. The only why it is 4 stars is the beef burger - it was a bit overcooked which made it dry. I did not find any sauce it the burger, but maybe it is how they make it. But overall the portion was large and solid

31/08/2026: Was really excited for my visit to this restaurant but unfortunately was a little disappointed. It was a Sunday evening but the restaurant was fairly busy, only 1-2 free tables, but they only has one staff member on the floor which mean getting attention and refills of water was difficult. When we ordered our starters came but no wine, we did ask and we were told it was coming. When it did arrive from the disorganised bar (loads of dirty glasses just sitting there), there was no apology or acknowledgement that we were finished our starters when it arrived. Also the wrong starter turned but although they did take this off the bill. I ordered a dish from the Wok section and was asked if I wanted Jasmine rice, I said yet but it turned up with noodles - I didn't mention this to the waitress as at this point I was kinda over the experience. My partner ordered the Red Seafood curry which was very tasty and served in a coconut, the extra was served in a desert bowl which did look like a bowl is sick - very strange and I don't think the Coconut as a serving dish is actually practical for serving. My starter crispy prawn dumplings was very nice. Overall for the price of the food/wine I expected a better service experience. Unfortunately while some of the food was good I don't think I'll be booking a return visit.

09/08/2026: A fantastic place. Delicious food prepared in a relatively short time. The staff was also very friendly, smiling, helpful, but not overbearing. We went two days in a row – because we liked it that much. Once for lunch, once in the evening, on a weekend – and there was no problem getting a table. There were quite a few people, but the restaurant handled the service brilliantly. Thank you very much, best regards, and we'll definitely see you again (Blond trio from Poland – the carbonara and margherita team)

24/09/2026: Everything at Spitalfields was absolutely delicious and the service made the experience even more memorable. Feidhlim was a fantastic server and bartender. He was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. He remembered my name and used it every time he approached me which was such a lovely, personal touch. Wonderful food, excellent service and an all-around fantastic evening. I would absolutely return!

22/09/2026: Sadly this was a 50/50 experience. This was one of the reservations that we saved as one of our special dinners to celebrate our Anniversary while on holiday to Dublin. The food and drinks were incredible and food wise we were very pleased. Unfortunately the service was extremely lacking and the communication during service was just terrible. When we sat down I asked our server about white wine reccomendations to possibly pair with the Iberico schnitzel and was told "I can't reccomend any of the white wines because none of them are good", which was odd to us and another wine suggestion wasn't even offered and we felt rushed to order something else quickly. When we asked about how large the toast was for the bone marrow we were also told by our server that "it wasn't good value" because the toast wasn't large. Our server was almost annoyed that we were a table of two diners compared to the slighly bigger groups around us. It was an odd start to our dinner but we looked past it so we could just enjoy ourselves. After our food came we never saw our server again even though we were in the middle of the dining room. We were going to end our night at the restaurant and planned to order more cocktails and dessert but we couldn't even get a refill on our water or order another drink.We sat there long enough to research a cocktail bar to end our night at, which we inevitably did to kind of salvage the night. We aren't picky people and don't enjoy leaving poor reviews but the service experience was just so off and lacking.

17/09/2026: We had a fantastic experience at the Opium. The food was great, portions big, and the service was very pleasant. As it was an early dinner on a Tuesday night, it was very quiet but as a big enough group we did have a very nice meal.

26/09/2026: I am disappointed about the experience in this place. We are visiting Dublin for the first time. We based our decision to come here for the google reviews. However we discovered that it was not worth the price and the 4.7 star rating on google. Service is slow in general, I guess the fact that we came on a Saturday did not help. We tried to order wine twice and the waiter would not give us their attention. We ordered a porterhouse steak for two in medium and it arrived late, cold and more cooked than medium. The veggie plate it comes with is ok but nothing spectacular. The two red wines we ordered in the by the glass section were very poor quality for the price. When we asked for the bill the lady just threw it on the table, as she was clearly in a rush. To be honest, I expected more for the place and the food, given the fact that it has so many good reviews. We tried a wine bar around the corner called Etto which was way better.
