18/02/2026: Our dining experience was made truly exceptional thanks to our server, Nick. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly attitude that instantly made us feel welcome. It was clear right away that he cared about doing his job well and making sure everyone had an enjoyable time. Nick was extremely attentive throughout the entire meal. He took our orders carefully, answered all of our questions with confidence, and gave helpful recommendations when we were unsure what to choose. His knowledge of the menu showed professionalism, and his patience showed genuine kindness. Even when the restaurant became busy, he remained calm and efficient, never making us feel rushed or forgotten. What really stood out about Nick was his positive energy. He checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was okay, and when there was a small delay with one of our dishes, he handled it quickly and politely. His sense of humour and friendly conversation added to the atmosphere and made the experience more personal rather than just another meal out. Overall, Nick turned a normal visit into a memorable one. His excellent customer service, cheerful personality, and dedication to his role made a big difference in how much we enjoyed our time. A great server can define a restaurant experience, and Nick certainly did that for us. He deserves recognition for his hard work and the outstanding service he provided.

28/02/2026: Had an amazing meal in mad egg charlotte way, the staff were so kind & efficient and went above and beyond, the service was great and the chicken was some of the nicest I’ve ever had. I’d give more stars if possible 😋

28/02/2026: Was my first time visiting The Mad Egg, Dublin. I was blown away by the food, the chicken was amazing quality and the staff and service were so friendly and helpful. Couldn’t recommend this place more and will definitely be back. Great area and place.

22/03/2026: I was just about to leave this place after a couple of drinks,wanted to hit the toilet real quick and wasn't allowed to,I don't even know why.. it's 10 o'clock so it's supposed to be open for another hour, but even if they were closing this guy was extremely rude, just kept repeating to me to get out, told him I'm just about to piss real quick and leave but he didn't care at all, so I picked my stuff and left... I wanna advice everyone visiting Dublin to avoid this place, at first I didn't care about the fact how pricey they are, but after I saw how they handle their customers, I just have to tell everyone what a s...hole this really is. Never gonna come back to this bar and wouldn't recommend it even to my enemy..

15/03/2026: We went as a group of 5, Nice classic vibe! Lovely food. Taste & design for both starters & main food. Truffle Ravioli was absolutely delicious 😋 3 of us ordered dessert too but not 100% happy with them. So 4/5 for food.

10/03/2026: We visited Rosa Madre to celebrate my birthday, having had a fantastic experience there on a previous visit - so expectations were high. Unfortunately, this trip fell short. The crab on toast was let down by an overwhelming amount of mayonnaise, which completely masked the flavour of the crab. The lobster spaghetti - the dish I was most looking forward to - was also a disappointment: the presentation was lacking, the pasta overcooked, and the sauce didn't come close to the depth of flavour I remembered from before. A highlight was the tiramisu, which was genuinely excellent. My boyfriend fared better with his choices, and the front-of-house staff were warm and attentive - particular credit to the young man managing the floor, who was a pleasure to deal with. I'm hoping this was simply an off night, as Rosa Madre has shown it's capable of much better.

27/02/2026: The service was top notch. Staff wa friendly and welcoming. The mussels reminded me of what I would get in the east coast of the US. Sea Bass was cooked to perfection and the seasoning was spot on. Next time I am in Dublin I will definitely come again.

15/02/2026: Called in for food was left waiting at the door for over 10mins . Not any acknowledgement from staff they just kept walking passed . Then stopped a staff member to ask about food and table. She said would be back over in a sec to look after us , 5 mins later we left . Shocking lack of service .

19/12/2025: Excellent cinema. Nice venue, staff, good and theatres. They have some cool screenings and love theatre broadcasts also. Can't miss.

Piero has an excellent knowledge of the menu and made thoughtful recommendations that enhanced our meal. He was attentive without being intrusive, always anticipating what we needed before we had to ask. His ability to manage multiple tables while maintaining a high level of service is truly impressive. What sets Piero apart is his genuine passion for hospitality. He goes above and beyond to make customers feel valued, and it’s clear he takes pride in his work. Staff like him are a huge asset to any restaurant, and he plays a key role in creating a positive experience that keeps customers coming back. I would highly recommend both Piero and the restaurant to anyone looking for exceptional service. His dedication and professionalism absolutely deserve recognition.

18/03/2026: Terribly disappointing. Had the isabella pizza to takeaway and it had next to no mozerella on it. It wasnt sliced properly so was tricky to eat. For the price and based on the pics on website, you'd expect much better.

27/02/2026: Fantastic meal. I had the crab, mussels and cockles risotto to start, followed by duck with dauphinoise potato and celeriac, with rhubarb crumble to finish. Each course consisted of a wealth of different flavours. Good service too.

19/02/2026: Three of us visited mid week for a three course set menu. We shared some additional sides and a couple of bottles of wine. I don't recall exactly what we paid but it seemed very reasonable considering the quality of the food . The cadence of the service was perfect. Hosts were friendly and informative. We lingered and at no point did we feel rushed... Definitely will return. Oh and the duck was excellent. Loved the turnips .
