04/01/2026: Dishes that are unique and different from the classics. The crab and cream cheese with their bread are excellent. The three-course pairing options at a reasonable price are appreciated. A decent wine list, though limited by the glass, is available. A view of the harbor completes a slower, more relaxed meal.

28/12/2025: I came on a whim. Entrance is nicely decorated - lovely foyer. Note that the restaurant is on the first floor so there is a flight of steps. I'm fine, skipped up like a hungry gazelle, but others may not be as spry. I was warmly greeted by staff, and got a seat straight away due to the early time. The place was half full at 4pm. Getting a seat without prebooking at a later time may not be so easy. The menu is nicely divided into Earth (that'll be your vegan/veggie selection) Land (meat and poultry) Sea (go on, have a guess...) and Heaven - the dessert section. I ordered a half bottle of Malbec, patatas bravas and the lamb shoulder. Wine is very nice. The lamb was served on a delicious bed of risotto. I enjoyed every morsel. Now, the portion is on the small side as it's a tapas meaning there's room for you to choose other dishes. Perfect for the cuisine curious! It all came to approximately fifty euro. This was a very reasonable price for a xmas treat for myself. 10/10 will be back with friends to sample more plates!

17/12/2025: I couldn't rate this place enough the staff at the reception the staff serving the manager are all lovely would do anything for their customers. I've gone in for drinks I've gone in with a young baby, I've gone in without a booking when they are very busy, they will always try and accommodate you. Great for the whole family and a few drinks. The food is delish.

15/11/2025: The staff was so rude, I was in line just trying to order Guinness, there was no line. I was following the previous customers. I got to the line, she was so rude first of all, that’s not Irish I know. she was not going to serve me. I carried on. I thanked her, I am not going to spend money on a rude cashier.

20/12/2025: Visited for breakfast on the 16th. We ordered chicken benny, Turkish eggs, cheesecake, and 2 lattes. Later, I noticed the receipt charged €5 extra for 3 Blue Pea Lemonades, which we didn’t order. Also, our lattes were initially swapped with matcha, though the staff fixed it quickly. The café was very busy, so extra staff during peak hours might help. Overall, food was tasty; slightly larger portions or extra slice of bread would match the price better. But I hope this kind of mistake doesn’t happen to other customers.

14/12/2025: We visited Green Straw for breakfast in Dublin and tried the holiday specials menu, including the Bang Bang Chicken, Christmas sandwich, and caramel pancakes, everything was delicious. The flavors were amazing, the vibe was cozy, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The chef even visited our table to check if everything was fine and explained the dishes, which made the experience feel extra special. One of the best breakfast spots we’ve been to, highly recommended and a must-visit whenever I’m in Ireland.

12/12/2025: Love this pub. Super friendly staff and good crowd, mix of all ages. Big but still feels cosy and intimate, with lots of seating and little nooks and crannies. Great pint of Guinness and nice pub chow. Music is lively but not so loud you can't talk over it, and very comfortable smoking area. Recommended!

30/11/2025: Had a delish burger with amazing wedges here. Staff and atmosphere are warm. Prices are reasonable. Pay them a visit!

05/12/2025: We were a group of 6 and visited the restaurant on a very wet and windy afternoon in early December.It was well worth the visit. Four of our group had prawns to start while I had aubergine bruscetta and one had tomato bruscetta. The mains were pizza, four varied pasta dishes and one salmon dish One of party had a pistachio profiterole for dessertand four finished their meal with coffee/tea. All the food was very well presented and very tasty and the red wine recommended hit the right spot. The service was excellent and with the wine the bill came to Euro 238 excluding the tip. It was only a quick trip out on the train so would have loved to have a dinner. Looks like we will have to visit again next time we’re in Dublin. Great service.
