31/05/2025: Grounds are lovely, place has great potential if staff were friendlier. Came on a rainy day with a newborn, twin babies and three young children, bottom car park was full so drove to the top car park beside the cafe which we intended to go to feed the babies. Car park was empty and parking staff made us leave as it is reserved for over 70’s, said if we came on a weekday he’d let us away with it but because it was a Saturday it’s not possible. Other cars had no stickers which I only realised after my encounter with the rude and smug staff member. We had to leave and we won’t be returning.
30/05/2025: The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the gardens are simply stunning. The playground is fantastic, easily one of the best around. There are plenty of scenic trails, perfect for walking or jogging. (Dogs friendly too)
The indoor coffee shop serves coffee and food, though nothing particularly special.
Every Saturday morning, the park hosts a lively Parkrun event, adding to the vibrant community feel.
With breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere, it's a wonderful spot to spend a few relaxing hours.

21/05/2025: The place did not serve food 3 times in a row now, app issues, too late, kitchen closed etc. May be a beer place but forget about any reasonable meal. Will not go there again.

06/05/2025: The 4 of us had a wonderful lunch. I recommend the fish and chips. Beautiful bar & restaurant. The music was a little loud but they turned it down for us.

02/05/2025: I have started to order salad boxes from Bare Acre Farm. It's simple to set up, and the best thing about it is that I can pause this weekly order whenever I need to. I love that the produce is local and seasonal, and that the deliveries always come with a smile!

Food lovely at least. Nothing more need to be said, but one is expected to leave a review of no less than 100 characters.
22/05/2025: Dad and I enjoyed our first meal in Ireland on our current trip at the Stoop. We had been recommended to try the Dublin Bay prawns and the chowder and neither disappointed. Would definitely return if we were staying in Skerries longer.

10/04/2025: I’m a cafe lover and I’ve been around the country, this is my favo for soup and tostie and the staff. People should come over to taste the mushroom soup and the tostie, amazing 🤩 so delicious.
The prices might be a bit higher than the other places but that’s exactly what i want, I’m happy to pay more for quality.
The only downside is that it’s always packed during peak time but well worth the wait ❤️

10/05/2025: We had the afters of our wedding here last week. There were 42 of us in total (including children who were welcomed by the restaurant and happily played) and everyone said it was incredible, the service was fantastic (we dealt mainly with Elaine - she’s great!). David was fantastic too.
The food was delicious, the wine list had something for everyone and the margaritas were great.
I couldn’t fault anything and will be recommending old street to everyone. We will absolutely be going back soon.

26/04/2025: I’ve been there twice and the food it’s amazing!! They have gluten free options, I got the poached eggs with halloumi, also the mussels, sooo good.
I definitely recommend this place and I will come back.
Also the workers there really nice.
