The best restaurants in Fingal

09/08/2026: Used to love Camile as I was able to get the chicken fried rice Gluten Free, but they have stopped offering that option and so am no longer able to order it and my family never order anymore either for fear of disappointing me. It was my go to takeaway and now I'm so disappointed every time I call asking if they have a gluten free option available.

16/07/2026: The staff were not professional and did not make an effort to clean and prepare tables promptly, even when customers were waiting to dine in. In addition, only a single-use plastic fork was provided, which is not appropriate for a dine-in experience. Overall, the service and attention to customer needs were disappointing.

16/09/2026: Bright & airy in a seasidey way. Fab views to the harbour and sunset. Efficient yet considerate service. Chowder is one of the chunkiest and tastiest. Fish n Chips was a treat for the eyes and for the palette. Presentation was consistently good. Wine & cocktail list?...well now I understand why the taxi rank is just outside.

05/09/2026: We come back to Old Street Restaurant every year when we’re in Dublin, and it has become one of those places we genuinely look forward to. We’ve been here several times now, including with family and friends, and the quality has been consistently exceptional. What really stands out is the food. The quality of the ingredients, the presentation, and especially the combination of flavors are outstanding. Everything feels thoughtful and beautifully balanced, with those little unexpected touches that turn a very good dish into something memorable. Today was no exception. From the main courses and sides to the dessert, everything was absolutely delicious. For us, Old Street is easily one of our top three restaurants in Ireland. And the fact that we keep coming back year after year probably says it best. Highly recommended. We’ll absolutely be back! ❤️

30/08/2026: This was our absolute favorite meal during our visit to Ireland. Definitely get the mussels, you won't be disappointed. Excellent service, atmosphere, and food. I would fly across the Atlantic again to eat here.

18/09/2026: The staff was pretty scattered—I was charged for a water I didn't buy. After I pointed it out based on the receipt, the cashier was very surprised and supposedly issued a refund to my card. A few days have passed, and the refund still hasn't come through. As usual for Starbucks, the coffee was good, so coffe itself I recommend.

03/10/2026: Always a fantastic experience at Town Yard Malahide! The service is consistently excellent, the food is very tasty, and there’s such a great variety of choices on the menu. Everything is always fresh and delicious, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s definitely our first-choice restaurant whenever we’re looking for a great meal. Highly recommended! We always look forward to coming back.

06/10/2026: We visited the Harbour Bar, in Rush for dinner and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. All four of us started with the Seafood Chowder. The chowder is the best I have ever had. Seafood in the chowder is so plentiful that it nearly constitutes a meal in and of itself. Delicious. Two of us followed up the chowder with Corned Beef in Parsley sauce, Csbbage and Mash. Wow. It was very good but also very filling after the Chowder. The others had Mussels, they were also very tasty and Spicy Squid and Onion Rings. We sat in the lounge area and loved the atmosphere. I would highly recommend the Harbour Bar.

04/10/2026: One of the best places in Rush! The food is spectacular, the service from all the staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. Best of all, they are incredibly welcoming to foreigners! We were visiting as a family, and even though my English isn't the best, they understood me without making me feel uncomfortable. They even gave my little one a box of crayons to play with. If we return to Rush, we will definitely go back to this restaurant.

12/10/2026: We got a table at once, in peak lunch time period. Order taken, and salad served, very quickly. Except salads, plenty of protein, all fresh.

24/08/2026: An absolutely lovely place to stay! The room was even better than I imagined with generous proportions and the most glorious view with a window seat to sit and watch the sunset over Ireland's Eye with a book. The bath was huge and the bed was lovely. The team were very friendly and we always felt safe and welcome as a visibly queer couple. The local area is a delight and the hotel is incredibly well connected whilst feeling quiet and right next to the sea. The breakfast was lovely too, and the seafood chowder at the Jameson pub was the best thing I ate across my whole trip. The only small feedback I'd give would be to please explore other options of vegan / vegetarian sausage for breakfast. I so appreciated the option but they were really not very nice. Thanks so much for an amazing stay!

28/06/2026: Sophie and Ruth and Millie and Zara were the most professional and fabulous servers on our weeklong trip to Portmarnock. We thoroughly enjoyed interacting with each of them on multiple days of our golf vacation. We wish them well and are so pleased that we had the opportunity to meet them. They are all genuinely lovely girls who are serving the best interests of this great resort!! Thank you very much!!!

18/10/2026: The food was super delicious so would definitely recommend! The staff were all super friendly and the pub itself is very cool. Normal Dublin prices and well located close to the main st and the mall. The screens were playing football and rugby games.
