04/05/2025: Dining at Seabank Bistro in Malahide was an absolute delight from start to finish. Tucked away in one of Ireland’s most charming coastal towns, this bistro is a true hidden gem for seafood lovers. The menu celebrates the ocean in the most tasteful way — fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I tried the prawns to start . For the main course, the lobster and chef’s linguine with seafood , and beautifully complemented by a medley of seasonal vegetables and a light lemon butter sauce. What truly sets Seabank apart is the atmosphere. With cozy interiors, soft lighting, and a view of the harbour, it’s the ideal setting for both a romantic evening and a relaxed gathering with friends. The staff were exceptional — knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about the food and service. Seabank Bistro doesn’t just serve seafood — it serves memories. A must-visit if you’re in Malahide or anywhere nearby.

04/05/2025: Being on the coast there are not many places to eat good fish. We chose this one because the posts had photos of fish. Well, without further ado, for me monkfish doesn't need that much sauce... it came, as I saw in the photo, "loaded" with sauce... when for a good monkfish, a grill and a little sauce on the side for the customer to manage as they see fit is more than enough.

27/04/2025: My wife and I took my parents to Balrothery Inn today for dinner , the staff were excellent and when they saw my Father was elderly and slow on his feet they accommodated us with a suitable table for easy access, the staff were lovely and polite and attentive considering they were flat out busy , the food was excellent we all cleared our plates , I was watching the staff being so attentive with other senior citizens and people in wheel chairs credit to them all , a special thank you to Aaron Gough and the ladies that attended to us , I will definitely be back soon , thank you all so much

15/04/2025: We stopped for lunch on the way to the airport from Juluanstown and we were welcomed like old friends by a lovely young lady who could not have been more helpful. We opted for sandwiches, which were delicious. The inn has an old world charm, which added to the experience, A very pleasant lunch and one of the best pints of Guinness we had all trip.

25/04/2025: Unfortunately, our recent visit was not up to the standard previously enjoyed, and I don’t think we’ll be returning. We were a party of three. The restaurant was busy, so we understood the wait for our food, but when my feta toast arrived, the bread was so rock hard I couldn’t even cut it. I told our server, who apologised, took the plate away, and offered to let me order something else. However, she then disappeared for over 20 minutes _by which time the rest of my group had already finished eating. Just as I was about to leave, another server asked if I wanted to order. I explained the situation again; she apologised and took my new order, along with dessert orders for the table. Only one dessert and my replacement Caesar salad arrived, but the salad was dry, with barely any sauce, and the chicken was tough and hard to swallow. We had to ask about the missing dessert, which seemed to have been forgotten. When I paid the €70 bill, no one asked if everything was okay. If they had, I wouldn’t need to be writing this review. We left hungry and disappointed - my daughter didn’t even like her dessert, which was also dry. I don’t like writing negative reviews, but I wasn’t given another way to communicate my feedback. I hope management takes this on board for future improvement.

28/04/2025: My favourite "office", where the staff are all amazing, with the best coffe in Ireland , great smoked salmon open sandwich, great Ice Creams and the signature Pistaccio Croissant...., thats unique, plus they let pets come to the premises and drool at you! Beyond recommended

04/05/2025: Booked for a Friday evening. Sat outside for a drink. Let the waitress know we had a table booked. Moved inside and noticed McGoverns had emailed me saying we were 15 mins late, which we weren't. We both had a steak, mine the fillet, and my husband, the rib eye. Honestly, this meal was 10 out of 10. I had garlic roast potatoes with mine, and everything I got was so tasty. I had booked other restaurants in Malahide and being honest could have happily dined here for the weekend. Service outside wasn't so great, but inside was a different story, excellent service. We have dined here before, not sure why it's not the number one place to dine in Malahide, in my view the food is delicious. Definitely be back!

25/03/2025: This is the best pizza I've had in Ireland, delicious, yummy flavoursome . Food 10/10 The delivery was also excellent. This is my go to pizza restaurant from now on. Would highly recommend you will not be disappointed. 😋

03/05/2025: If I could give the food less than 1 star I would. The worst food I’ve ever been served in my life. I got the roast of the day with ham, the ham was almost grey and was super dry and tasteless. The veg and roast potatoes were clearly frozen too. The stuffing also tasteless and even by looking at it you could see there wasn’t any herbs in it. Nothing at all on my plate was made fresh. My partner got the Tex mex burger and onion rings. Onion rings tasted of pure oil, and the burger that was meant to have chili beef mince on it wasn’t chili beef at all, it was tomato bolognese. Chips were fine but you can’t go too wrong with them. Bill came to 50 euro with two drinks, definitely not worth it, would never eat here again. Service and staff were lovely though.

22/04/2025: Great pint of guiness and the food is lovely,chicken burger is gorgeous, the staff are excellent and very friendly. Tv's are all around so you can see the sport from anywhere ,Depending on the time, it could be quiet enough ,but the pints make up for that 👍 another meal today , and once again, the food was lovely. The guiness is also great , can't complain 👌

03/05/2025: Nice atmosphere and good Italian food—nothing over the top, but enjoyable. Prices are a bit high, though expected for the location. Service was excellent and very welcoming, definitely the highlight of the evening. Only downside was being charged €3 per bottle for filtered water without being asked—two bottles were brought out and barely touched. Still, a good experience overall. Thanks to the staff for the warm service!

10/05/2025: Definitely one of the largest shopping centres I've seen in Ireland. It has multiple entrances depending on which direction you're coming from. Inside, you can find everything from restaurants and supermarkets to pharmacies and even the post office. There are plenty of coffee shops where you can have a full meal or something small to grab like sandwiches or pizza slices. It's very easy to reach by public transport, bus number 41 from the city centre stops right in front. If you're driving, there’s plenty of parking available. Parking is free for the first 2 hours.

09/04/2025: Oh dear ! So disappointed. Our 40th wedding anniversary. Were upgraded to the executive wing. Freezing. Don't do it if you have a choice. Asked for heat. No. Got a heater. And they didn't turn it on. Just not acceptable today. Completely spoilt our occasion. Never again.

17/05/2025: Everyone loves Ikea. Don't forget their food department. Opened till late and serving food till late too came in very handy. Cafe is being restored at the moment, so no hot dogs for now, but will be looking forward to seeing what it turns out to be.
