28/12/2025: I grabbed a coffee at 6 a.m. and the guy working there was super friendly, even at that hour. He suggested some flavors to add to my coffee. I picked hazelnut and it was amazing. Thanks a lot!

28/12/2025: I had a muffin and a latte while waiting for my flight, the muffin was lovely nothing to complain and about and the coffee was really good I was quite impressed. I was served by Charlotte very pleasant and chatty, really nice environment. Will be back again 👍🏻

20/02/2026: The food was incredibly expensive. Very disappointing. For the price, I expected the steak to be bigger; it wasn't enough, and it cost €39... On the other hand, the duck was a better price but also too small. We paid a total of €51.50 and left hungry. Plus, we had to wait a long time for our food... I wouldn't go back, and it was extremely disappointing.

15/02/2026: Busy, popular restaurant that specialises in fish dishes, with a view of the port. Very nice food. Very pleasant and attentive staff. Always busy, so better to book in advance.

11/11/2025: Great establishment, variety of breakfast/brunch options, and everything is well-made. Customer service is always excellent. Used to go more often with the previous menu that you could make your own breakfast, but still is a great brunch spot.

12/12/2025: Love this pub. Super friendly staff and good crowd, mix of all ages. Big but still feels cosy and intimate, with lots of seating and little nooks and crannies. Great pint of Guinness and nice pub chow. Music is lively but not so loud you can't talk over it, and very comfortable smoking area. Recommended!

30/11/2025: Had a delish burger with amazing wedges here. Staff and atmosphere are warm. Prices are reasonable. Pay them a visit!

03/01/2026: Beautiful, quirky pub with a unique character. Excellent Guinness, Estrella Galicia 0.0, and friendly staff... their Copper Throat cask strength whiskey is quite good too. This is a local for those who prefer an intimate, authentic setting over larger, more modern venues. A great spot if you want a pint in a place with soul, character, and a warm, fireplace-lit welcome. It does feel like a "living room" rather than a commercial bar, with music-heavy decor, vintage memorabilia, and an open fireplace. Music seems to be central to its identity, particularly during the Skerries Traditional Music Weekend, but also with a great eclectic soundtrack. Overall a well balanced cosy atmosphere with a traditional Irish pub feel and a modern, somewhat alternative edge. In addition to being a pub, it now houses a coffee shop and bakery right beside.

12/12/2025: Such a cosy pub and warm atmosphere. Perfect for a date, few deinks and caters for large groups too and opens late. Didn't eat here but say the food is pretty good if they do serve food.

02/11/2025: Just wanted to share my experience at Bare Acre Farm shop. Back at the start of the summer I was on my way to visit my mother in a nearby nursing home on a lovely Sunday morning. She likes a coffee so I stopped at Bare Acre Farm (1st time there as I didn't normally pass the farm on route) Dave served me and asked me what was i planning for the day and I told him I was on the way to visit my Mum in the Nursing home. As I was leaving he gave me a bunch of flowers to give to my Mum from him and his family. Dave never met me or my mum before...it was just such a lovely thing to do. I now call regularly to Bare Acre Farm... the coffee is great as is all the food and produce but people are what make it. Thanks you.

06/01/2026: We wanted a late Sunday lunch in Malahide and this restaurant fitted the bill . The roast beef was exceptional and the mini desserts offered were delicious. The atmosphere and service were great we will definitely return when we are in Malahide .

31/12/2025: Went here for lunch today wirh friends. What impeccable food and service. The waiting staff were very attentive. The steaks were divine! A beautiful charming restaurant that has had a lot of love done to it. Will be returning.

21/02/2026: Best pizza I’ve ever had. Staff are lovely.

15/02/2026: Really disappointing experience. Left waiting 20 minutes for a table and just continued to be left waiting for night. Staff were inattentive and lacking basics. I ordered the diabova pizza and it was like the sauce was mixed with water. The base was soaked and inedible. Since no one came back to check and it was incredibly hard to get anyones attention we just paid the bill and left.

17/01/2026: Great for Home Inspiration and Snacks! Coming up all the way from Cork, ​I recently spent a good few hours at the IKEA in Dublin, and it remains one of the best places for affordable home shopping. ​The Layout: The home products were very well laid out but a bit like a maze, so it can be confusing. It’s definitely possible to get slightly lost if you are not careful! That said, the room sets are brilliant for getting decor ideas, even if the "one-way" system feels like a long trek. ​The Food: If you need a break, the food section is definitely value for money. I found that the quality of the pre-made food (like the Daim cake or the refrigerated wraps) is very good. However, the hot food is pretty average, fine for a quick, cheap bite like the meatballs, but nothing spectacular. ​Shopping Experience: The staff were helpful when I eventually found them, and the self-service warehouse at the end was well-organized. ​The Verdict: A solid 4 stars. It’s an easy way to furnish a house on a budget, just make sure you have plenty of time (and a map!) to navigate the showroom floor.

20/02/2026: Leaving aside the comfy decor and the nice harbor views and the lovely selection of beers & wines. The staff there seem to like it as well - that's a good thing. Don't be intimidated by the beef prices - see the weight. Fish is fab too . I'll be baack.
