26/02/2025: Been few times and last time I went I got the breakfast bap but I should have read the menu as the only meat on the bap was some bacon , no sausages or pudding , I’ve had breakfast baps all over and they all have standard breakfast items whereas this has eggs avocado and bacon , it’s verging on a vegaterian bap with bacon

17/01/2025: Visited for first time tonight. A Glaswegian, it takes a good curry to impress; I'm impressed! Thoroughly recommend.

22/03/2025: Nice coffee and buns. The buns are expensive but huge (almost too big), so probably work out as decent value. Nice cinnamon swirl was tasty, the cardamom twist didn't taste of cardamom and the chocolate twists are always a treat.

05/02/2025: Gorgeous place but the quality has nosedive whilst the prices have sky rocketed, its such a shame, skerries has this reputation of having lots of places to eat but they actually haven't, nowhere is worth it anymore , such a waste of a seaside town ,won't be going again .

28/02/2025: I had a very good experience for my first ever visit to this restaurant and I loved the food I had and the dessert also but one or two things I'd like to suggest about improvements is cutting the cosy of a 1.25 litre bottle of soft drink as it was €6 for a bottle of 7up and also the staff needs to check the dates of the soft drinks on the bottles also as I was given one with a date on it which had December 2024 on it and I was very assertive and honest with the employee who gave me the bottle of TK red lemonade that was out of date other than that I would recommend eating in this restaurant

19/03/2025: Very disappointed as we caled in for lunch and was given a menu.Tables not cleared or those that were as we were at not wiped clean.One other table being used so quite inside three girls inside counter talking and one drinking a can beside the edge of counter We stayed over 10 minutes waiting to be served while trying to catch eye contact to order.More interested in talking to each other then serving customers or cleaning the tables.Went across the road to a large sports bar and the service plus the food was excellent.

15/02/2025: First time eating in the ploughman even though we've lived nearby for 19 years. It's a bit like how finally told my wife I loved her. But enough about me. Pint was spot on, staff were attentive and prompt, although I would have to have kept my fork to have helped my missus finish her chips. Hot sauce chicken burger was fairly hot, chips slightly underdone, but in all, decent dinner. Probably won't take 19 years to go back.

07/03/2025: Goat in a Boat looked like they had great coffee online. There was no latte art like there seemingly is in pictures on their website. This is personal preference. The cookies displayed in the cabinet were fresh looking , like how cookies are supposed to be. What I got was a cookie that was clearly not fresh and not the ones that were displayed. If it was a different batch that’s fine but they looked completely different. Like someone took them out of a box from the back. This was a biscuit. Not a cookie. Thick and lacked flavour. The ones displayed were more thin and crispy… and I thought this was false advertisement. With a price of €4.00 this is not acceptable. I would pay €2.40 max for something like this. Although it looked very nice in its interiors and exteriors. I just don’t think the displays should be different to what you get. Very different in my case.

12/01/2025: J2 Sushi in Swords is hands down our go-to restaurant whenever we’re in the area. They consistently deliver the best bento boxes, a fantastic variety of sushi, and the most amazing ramen we’ve had. The flavors are fresh, authentic, and satisfying every time! What makes the experience even better is the staff— they’re incredibly accommodating and always greet you with a smile. Their warm and friendly service truly sets the atmosphere apart. We’ve been here countless times and have never had a disappointing visit. Highly recommended if you’re looking for quality Japanese food in Swords!

18/03/2025: Excellent food, best crispy chicken burger in the galaxy. Brilliant service, barman brought drinks to our table in the lounge as he saw my golf companion was limping from the hip. ( Due to my friend imitating a mountain goat on the corballis dunes). 5*****food and service.

11/03/2025: Large establishment with a bar restaurant section, a classic pub section and a beautiful exterior at the rear of the establishment, the garden bar. Nice choice of draft beer, classic cuisine, no surprises.

09/03/2025: They served us very quickly and everything was delicious. They have a menu for 30 euros with first and second course which is quite good. I 100% recommend the cheesecake.
