The food is excellent. The portions are large and very good. I can only recommend the garlic bread. 👌
The burgers are not too big and not too small either. Very well made and super tasty.
The employees are very friendly and accommodating.
The price-performance ratio is excellent.

25/12/2023: I moved to Schull four years ago. Not too many pubs to explore. On my first visit I was the sole customer. Three "staff " members were at the other end of a very small bar. One minute passed with no recognition that I was about six feet away from them. I don't exaggerate but it was five minutes or more before one of this trio grudgingly came to me. The staff are totally lacking in basic people skills. I got the distinct impression that I should be honoured to spend my money. Ah well I guess they do so well that it doesn't matter to them. Obnoxious staff and an atmosphere like the moon.
06/10/2023: What an amazing pub, you can literally walk in on your own and you will be chatting away to everyone. Craig is a great lad, always got time for a chat and serves up a great pint of Murphy. Real gem of a boozer.

08/12/2023: Great menu, reasonable prices. Service is always with a smile and the girls are always helpful if you want to tweak their menu. They offer a great kids and also gluten free menu.
11/10/2023: They just celebrated 10 years milestone. Fish & Chips outstanding, lightly battered and caught that morning. Staff is cheery and sweet.
Highly recommend cappuccino.

30/03/2024: Cracking hotel I really like it and very handy on the n11 for getting into town and plenty of parking out the back. There's a very nice bar and also a Brand new gym so everything you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. The price for the quality of rooms and locations is very fair. The receptionists are always very helpful and the rest of the staff seem happy to oblige.

This restaurant offers a very pretty sea view, magnificent terrace. Friendly staff, the dishes are well stocked, I had a fish and chips, it was a little greasy, the same for the fries, it was still good... The burgers lacked cheese. High prices but these are the prices in Ireland.

03/04/2024: Almost missed this restaurant and we are so glad we didn’t! Truly delicious food from the starters to the mains to the desserts. Had the Mussels and an Oyster to start, the Hake/Scallops as a main, and the sticky pudding for dessert. Our server was very attentive and kind and the atmosphere was perfect. Highly highly recommend this spot!

30/03/2024: Food is excellent. Coffee v good, love the 'mug of Americano" option. The decor is in need of doing & seating is haphazard, but it does say they are currently under renovation, so future is bright. Minor complaint on ham hock hash, different plate shoukd be used, a lot of orange going on & doesn't do the food justice. Quality otherwise & highly recommended

03/03/2024: There is a SERVICE CHARGE already included when you get your bill. Yet, when you go up to settle your account, you are "pressurised" by a message on the card reader asking if you want to add a "gratuity". I found it intimidating!

Menu was limited. I had Duck on colcannon. Nothing else served to enhance the meal.
Duck was served on bed of colcannon. Colcannon was not hot. Duck lacked flavour. There was a thick heavy sauce served with Duck. Sauce did not enhance the Duck in any way.
I was treating family members who were visiting me to lunch so it was very disappointing
Desserts and coffee were fine .
The young man who served us was very professional .
31/03/2024: Charming restaurant with great food, friendly caring, accommodating staff and dog friendly too. Stopped here on trip from Kerry and my large dog was welcomed and we’d a quiet corner to enjoy a beautiful goats cheese salad and cottage pie. They even brought a water bowl straight away for the pooch who lapped it up!

15/08/2023: Had the vegetarian soup with stated homemade bread…the bread was 3rage old and simple chiabatta, the soup was not warm and inedible. The service was unfriendly. Definitely not recommended!
