18/10/2024: First of all, ignore the one star review by Katie; there was absolutely nothing racist about any of the people working here. Honestly, they were about as nice and accommodating as could be. I had the three course set menu (wings, Chicken Supreme, dessert), and my wife had the soup (okay, we shared the wings and dessert). Everything was great...no issues. We liked the place so much we went back for breakfast the next day. Excellent.

05/11/2024: Was a bit disappointing for the previous visits but it was surprisingly good on my last visit! The homemade bread, fresh oyster and the seafood chowder!!!

03/11/2024: Nice cozy little pub. Friendly staff and great customer service. We had the fish tacos and prawn pil pil. The food was so fresh and packed with flavour although it was expensive €18 euro for a small portion of prawns however it was very tasty. Good live music too!

27/10/2024: I ordered the hot n spicy chicken burger overall it was spectacular though there was a little too much mayo. The service was amazing, food was great and I loved the atmosphere.

03/11/2024: Really nice restaurant, decor etc. Food was nice however my fillet steak, which was a good size, was over cooked. I asked for med to well done but it was well done. There were plenty of waiters/waitresses about and service was quite quick however I was never asked if my food was ok as I was waiting for the opportunity to mention about the steak. The restaurant was busy and I would return again to give it another go. Back again, this time my sirloin steak was cooked perfectly and the service was very good. There were five of us at our table and everyone was impressed by the quality of the food and the service. Definitely worth a visit.

28/09/2024: The food is exquisite, fresh and beautifully presented. Lovely restaurant in quaint historic setting always bustling with diners. Had a pre drink at their bar beforehand. Would recommend.

28/10/2024: Lived our visit today to Carlingford Arms. A very well run establishment, welcoming and friendly staff. Good was value for money and very tasty. Bar area is very nice with Halloween theme and so many signs that has us laughing so much. Pinta if Guinness were excellent.

21/10/2024: We as family had a beautiful & very tasty dinner, we had 4 main courses & 1 dessert, 2 steak burgers, lasagne & cod and chips. The dessert was a chocolate fudge cake & vanilla ice cream. All of the food was fantastic

22/10/2024: Lovely restaurant/bar. Staff were excellent but table arrangements could have been better for tye function 😉

19/10/2024: Nice place to eat. Excellent service and a bonus, the toilets were spotless and smelled like a spa.

18/10/2024: The excellent quality of the raw materials used can be found in the carefully presented dishes. The desserts completed a perfect dinner.

01/10/2024: A great wee cafe to visit, if you're after a nice relaxing atmosphere. The food was nice and although quite a small cafe, it still had plenty of seating. We didn't have to wait too long for service and the staff were very friendly.

24/09/2024: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice decoration in the cafe. We only had cake and tea but it was delicious and big portions. Very reasonably priced too.

08/09/2024: Here for our second night of our wedding, the bride was the refused entry after putter her sick father to bed, and refused to let her get her husband or contact them for her as her phone was inside even though the whole bar was the wedding party. Absolutely disgusting and ruined a wedding weekend. Would not recommend at all.

26/08/2024: called into this bar with 2 friends from America and 3 relatives from England Myself and my wife. this was at 4.45 pm.26/8/2024 went into the bar there was 7 of us wanting drinks. young lad in his twenties after telling us to wait a minute then totally ignored us leaving from behind the bar and going elsewhere. no other bartenders there. disgusted we left. The bar man ignored us competent. Very poor customer service.

02/11/2024: First time here..difficult parking.. on arrival checking in was difficult.asked for surname twice and how i booked and where we booked from immediately felt unwelcome...no manours at al "very dry"l...over rated premises..id suggest the staff to go customer care course...it cost nothing smile and make people feel welcome.. felt ridiculed at breakfast. "In front of other guests remarks where made repeatly which was uncalled for.Food was v good have to say but expected nothing less with a Mitchell 🌟 compliments to your 👨‍🍳 The room was nice but not worth the cost...."no fridge..no door between bedroom towards bathroom felt too open.Was only 2 us was no need for and extra bed made the room felt cramped. Don't think we will stay again.
