05/01/2026: Interesting little restaurant, it's all run by one guy solo. Book via WhatsApp. Delicious carbonara which I've found really hard to find in Dublin. Ragu and tiramisu also top notch. Very good value for money, I'd say he could easily up by prices by a few Euro a dish and it would still be good value. I'll be back to try the risotto next time.

16/09/2025: We had a delicious pulled pork pizza special and an ice cold pint of beer here, top quality freshly hand made pizza, the restaurant is really nicely decorated and the staff are very friendly, well definitely be back for more, well recommended, 5 stars.

“A truly amazing experience at La Caverna! The food is delicious, very well prepared and full of flavor. The atmosphere is cozy and beautiful, perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal.
The service was outstanding — *Dima and David* were wonderful, extremely attentive, friendly, and professional. They made us feel very welcome from start to finish.
Highly recommended, and I will definitely be back!

19/12/2025: Dough bros better than any Italian pizza I’ve had north of Rome. The dough was so fantastic. The toppings all Irish, the ham and mushroom is something I will think about everyday for the rest of my life. Being in Galway on a cold rainy day, enjoying a steaming hot garlic bread fresh out of the oven with their made in house ranch. I wish they paid me to write this review, but the truth is I’m doing it for free. Probably top 10 pizzas I’ve had in my life.
18/12/2025: Can't understand fascination and a long queue to this place. Was at their place in Galway. Had Christmas edition pizza, I think it was the first pizza I've tried, so salty that couldn't finish the slice. Later on decided to give it second chance and ordered some for the ordinary menu, wasn't that bad just good enough to eat, can't say - enjoy.

The most beautiful freshly cooked pasta dishes imaginable. We both had ravioli with the an amazing flavoursome sauce.
Smoked burrata starter was so tasty and well presented.
Ezio was the perfect host and creates a lovely warm atmosphere.
Lovely relaxed ambiance, a real trattoria experience.
A "must visit" for us on our trips to Westport.
15/11/2025: A group of us went to dinner here and 3 got the worst food poisoning. I spoke to the owner the next day to go through what we had and explained how ill ai was. He promised to call back after investigating but I never heard from him again.

23/12/2025: Nice decor, we sat at the high chairs but there are couches and window seats too. Solid wine list and friendly, attentive service with no feeling of being rushed. Playlist was okay; I mean, Glue by Bicep is undoubtedly an all time classic but not sure it's really dinner music. Tostadas were brilliant. Pork chop was truly, truly, awesome.
18/12/2025: I had the shared menu at Host Restaurant.
Got absolutely delighted with the pappardelle ragu, Hannan’s salt-aged rib eye absolutely delicious and well made! Pumpkin cappellacci, walnut & sage is an explosion of flavours. I don’t know how, but I’ll try to reproduce it at home, and the burnt ricotta cheesecake just made me feel speechless!
It was such a good time that I had there with my bf to celebrate my bday!
Can’t wait to go back!

07/01/2026: I was yesterday night in this restaurant and I had a carbonara. 30min after I started to eat, I started to feel sick and since then I have been having symptoms of gastroenteritis (diarrhoea and vomitting). I am not sure if it were the eggs… the carbonara did have a different taste but I thought it was just the sauce.

06/01/2026: We were a bit late to reserve a table, but we ordered 2 very tasty stone oven Neapolitan pizza’s (Capricciosa and Margherita) for takeaway! It was perfectly on time. Both the toppings and the dough was divine! It was rich and thin. The price was very reasonable as well. Yummy!

14/12/2025: The food isn’t taste special. I ordered Brasato de manzo and doesn’t taste good. The alcohol is so confusing you don’t know the flavor, bit pricey. The location is nice and secret but the reataurant itself is so dim I know its just the vibes but they need to brighten up a little bit.
I don’t recommend the place. There’s plenty of better restaurant in Dublin with the same price.
27/11/2025: We had an unbelievable experience at this bar, one I’ve never had anywhere else. The bartenders, Molly, Angel and Lina were the most attentive and knowledgeable staff we’ve come across not just in Dublin, but ever! Lovely olives, handmade cocktails, a brilliant absinthe experience and the atmosphere inside was brilliant and had an incredibly luxurious feel. Worth the slightly heftier price tag for not just drinks, but an unforgettable experience. Thanks to the great team!
