08/07/2026: Coffee was great. The gluten free menu was very disappointing however. Avo toast was €15 for one slice of toast with gone off avocado puree. No complaints about service, staff were super friendly.

26/07/2026: At 1st sight not a great impression even though we like (even fake) Eames chairs. But food was BY FAR the best we had on our Ireland trip. I had the Piri Piri chicken which I suggest all wanna be chefs should try to set their standards and the whole family was happy with their food. A marvelous surprise!

04/06/2026: I can't say enough about our experience at Silken Thomas. The owners are clearly treating their staff well, because it shows in how the staff treat the clients. Everyone from Reception, to the Bar, to the Restaurant (for both dinner and breakfast), to the person who showed us to our room, had a smile on their face and looked happy to be there. We felt well taken care of and everything we ate was delicious. We both loved the location and the recent redo, especially the shower. Special shout out to the lovely room cleaners and management who went the extra-mile to not only reach out to me to let me know I'd left a t-shirt behind on the bed, but also posted it to me in Dublin. My offer to reimburse them for the postage fell on deaf ears. The t-shirt has an illustration of a dearly departed pet on it and means an enormous amount to me, so I'll never forget Silken Thomas's kindness. Aces from top to bottom.

24/07/2026: We found Amici’s by chance, and we’re so glad we did! The quality of the pizza for the price is honestly hard to beat. We’ve tried plenty of pizzas, and this one really stood out. It tasted authentic and genuinely reminded us of Italy. The only thing we’d love to see is some outdoor seating, because the food is absolutely worth sitting down and enjoying. We’ll definitely be back!

Everything arrived exactly when promised, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. Every single pizza was enjoyed and both the adults and the kids loved them! 14/06/2026: Really appalled of the attitude of the manager and also owner of the restaurant and really ignorant and downright just a horrible person excuses that a staff was idiots and didn’t know what they was doing And I really did believe that I was judge for my nationality of who I was. I just can’t believe that there is people today still in that Reace attitude.

04/08/2026: I went here on Sunday with my family for the first time and I'm already planning my next visit. Staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was fab. I had the Sunday roast and my partner had the seabass special. Both amazing. It was extremely busy there when we went but it looked like the staff were well used to it. If I could give more stars I would.

03/08/2026: Had my partners Mark 60th birthday party in the Green Room. The food platters were incredible and the young male server looking after us was so nice cheerful and friendly, wish i got his name. Sarah , the manager was so helpful when it came to organising this event. Everyone who attend had a fantastic time. I would highly recommend Dew Drop Inn . Thanks to all the Staff for making this a truly wonderful evening. Catherine.

20/07/2026: This restaurant was recommended to me, but based on the reviews, I expected a bit more. For appetizers, we ordered three dishes. The seafood tempura contained two strips of salmon, a crab stick, and two small pieces of squid. When I think of "seafood," I imagine something other than a crab stick, but that is my mistake—I should have asked beforehand. The extra-large prawns, however, were excellent, and the sauce served with them was great. The duck rolls were decent, though a bit dry. For the main course, I chose the Chef's Sushi Selection. The presentation was beautiful, featuring a nice variety of sushi pieces. Unfortunately, the rice was quite bland and lacked seasoning. The other person had the fried noodles with beef and vegetables. It was edible, but average at best. Desert was fine, though I would expect different, more traditional dessert options in a Japanese restaurant. This is not meant as harsh criticism, just an honest account of our experience. On the positive side, the restaurant is a lovely, clean, and quiet place. I especially want to highlight the staff—the service was highly pleasant and welcoming! Will I return? If they improve the sushi rice, then yes.

21/07/2026: Fantastic experience every time we go, lovely staff, fantastic shows and food, lovely venue and reasonably priced to boot. My boy attends drama camp with Mary and loves it. Nothing is half measured here, you'll love it!
