18/11/2025: Very very good lunch. We had starter, main, desert, coffee and 2xwine @ lunctime. Total overall cost (4)incl 10% for 125e. The service was prompt and friendly. Two ratger large parties but no delay in service. Very good evening menu good staff and excellent wine choice. Priced to suit most.

13/11/2025: Packed house for Jack Keogh. A lot of standing was required prior to being admitted. Maybe bench like seats, for more seating in waiting areas. Especially for those who require it.

15/11/2025: We used to buy pizza here and it was amazing. The last two pizzas we got were mediocre and the chips were taken out of a Lidl bag. No decent Italian place would do Lidl chos. Great service, nice guys but the quality went down.

14/10/2025: This place was lovely, and the service was friendly and efficient. The food was really good. The only thing I'd knock it a star for was the polystyrene boxes for the chips. We spent a week on the canal and these boxes were one of the most visible pieces of litter floating on the water. I know the compostable packaging is way more expensive and times are tough, but it's 2025 and we need to be looking at small changes we can make to keep plastic out of the environment. Again, the food is lovely, definitely worth going to if passing Monasterevin.

01/12/2025: I recently dined at **Harrigan’s** with a group of 15 people, and the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. Despite our large party, the staff handled everything smoothly, professionally, and with genuine friendliness. I started with the **mussels**, which were fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The broth was rich and delicious—good enough to finish with a spoon! For my main, I had the **fish and chips**, and it was exactly what you hope for: crispy, golden batter on the outside, tender flaky fish on the inside, and perfectly seasoned chips. Absolutely spot-on comfort food done really well. To finish, I had the **brownie**, and it was the perfect end to the meal—warm, rich, and indulgent without being too heavy. What really impressed me was that the restaurant served all **14 others in our group** just as efficiently, with everyone’s meals arriving together, hot and well-presented. It’s rare to see such seamless service with a group that size. Overall, Harrigan’s delivered excellent food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended, whether you’re dining solo or with a big group!

20/09/2025: Arrived late and we were looked after very well by reception staff. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Impressive reception area. Overall hotel left a very good impression particularly in relation to staff and management.

20/08/2025: My family and I stayed here for one night for my sister’s wedding. The wedding was beautiful and the food was delicious. The room we stayed in was huge and had 3 beds for my family of 6. I was especially happy with the service and kindness of the general manager, Owen, who helped us when we checked out. My husband’s wedding ring fell into a sewer in the parking lot (thanks to my son lol) and the manager came to not only give us tools, but he stuck his entire bare arm down that sewer and got the ring back. We offered him a tip because that’s what we do where we live but he kindly refused it and put it back into my baby’s stroller. Very kind man!
