16/12/2024: I asked for a Jalferizi and the waiter recommended another dish so I went for it and it was amazing. Indian cuisine is my favorite and I've eaten it all over when I taltavel for work. And this dish was one of the best I've had, although the name escapes me. Which just means I'll have to go back and have it again. The waiter was a true gentleman and I can see why his restaurant is already so well reviewed 10/10 easy

24/12/2024: Really great place with lovely food, was just quite disappointed after one of our party had a whole glass of white wine dropped on him by one of the waiting staff. Accidents happen and staff were very apologetic but I would have expected at least some sort of a token of apology like a free drink or money off the bill, his trousers were totally sodden with wine. Nevertheless would still recommend and will go again

17/12/2024: Had lunch with an old friend. Steak sandwich and a Guiness, both lovely. Staff and atmosphere was spot on. Definitely recommended spot

03/11/2024: We ate here recently, a group of 8 people. From the moment we were welcomed at the door, we were extremely well looked after. Our server was superb...fantastic personality, and so attentive. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name, but she's a huge asset to the restaurant. The food was very nice, and portion sizes were good. We'll definitely be back.

01/01/2025: After our first time at the Grill Shack we were really looking forward to returning. Unfortunately this time didn’t go so well. Firstly we were there on a dark and windy evening and was seated in a drafty side room with overhead heaters.. so your face was burnt but ankles and other side were freezing. Hubbie had prawns for start and v disappointing. Flavourless and obviously frozen. Chicken wings with BBQ was excellent with massive juicy wings. Sauce on honey and soya ones was so disappointing and not a flavour combination that I would have again. Mains were forgettable, my steak in the stone rib eye was tough and unseasoned. I had 2 glasses of red wine served in tiny glasses one of my biggest pet peeves. Service was excellent in particular with the children the server was very entertaining. Lastly we were charged €192 for our troubles. 2 adults and 3 kids 2 alcoholic drinks and minerals

08/11/2024: I cannot tell people about this place enough. The staff are brilliant. The food is brilliant and the children's menu is great for the kids and the price is great for a family meal

10/12/2024: I love coming here for lunch, brunch and even breakfast sometimes. We also have gotten take away numerous times and it's my go to for take away coffee while out walking! Their gluten free club sandwich is my favourite. The gluten free bread is delicious, as is their protein balls. Also their soup is very tasty, especially the spiced sweet potato and coconut one! The staff are always so friendly and accommodating too.

13/11/2024: You would well know they take pride in what they do, everything was spot on . Just come down and try the open sandwiches. The rest will fall into place. Enjoy 😉😉😉

20/12/2024: My family and I went here for my birthday. The staff were excellent and the food is amazing!!! Definitely worth the price (~€20 for a main) we also got starters and desserts. Items in the pictures (as best as I can remember) - Black Forest cake - creme brulee + Americano - sticky toffee pudding - curry with chicken - pigs on the green - croquette - potato skins - bruschetta - kiwi sour mocktail

11/12/2024: Zambero in Maynooth I recently visited Zambrero in Maynooth and had the signature burrito. It was packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and was great value for money. The service was excellent too. I was served by Micheál, who made a fantastic burrito and was friendly throughout. If you’re looking for tasty food and great service, I would highly recommend Zambrero Maynooth!

21/11/2024: I'm from the US and am visiting Ireland for the first time. I love tacos and Mexican style food back home so I decided to try the Irish version of tacos. It was amazing. I had softshell beef tacos with lettuce and cheese and corn and some kind of garlic sauce. They warm the shells until they are just slightly crispy and then fill them with shredded beef and whatever toppings you choose. I had tons of questions because I'm a curious person and I cook at home a lot. Darcey helped me and was so amazing. She was friendly and answered all my questions. Even giving me a rundown of the different spice levels of their various meats. They had a bunch of different sauces that she also described to me so I could have what was a perfect meal. Tasted amazing, filled me up and I had great company too. The staff continued to chat with me a bit about home and stuff. Will definitely be going back for a quesadilla maybe!

06/12/2024: Order every couple of weeks, Pizza is our usual order and have never rang to complain.
