16/01/2026: Whenever I don’t bring lunch to work, I head to this takeaway shop. As a vegetarian, I love their chips and curry, and their vegetarian kebab is absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly, and you get your order in just about five to seven minutes, super quick and efficient!

28/08/2025: This place was fab up until new owners took over,. Orders are been cancelled religiously, they don't answer the phone, food isn't the best, very oily, but the whole canceling orders is a joke!

03/08/2025: Me and my parents ordered and got chips battered sausage and a burger Chips had nothing in them or they were rock solid definitely reheats battered sausage was burnt This chipper has gone massively downhill

24/12/2025: I’ve been visiting this pub regularly since arriving in Ireland on the 29th of September. It’s a local pub where I’ve met many locals, and until now I’ve always felt welcome. Most of the staff are friendly and professional, including other waiters and bar staff who do a great job. Unfortunately, my experience today was completely ruined by one waiter, Eoin, who presented himself as the manager. My friend and I stepped out briefly to get food, and when we returned there was a young apprentice waiter at the door along with a few young women who said they were waiting outside for their parents who were inside. The apprentice asked Eoin if we could re-enter, and he refused entry to both us and the girls. However, the girls were later allowed in by someone they knew, so we followed them back inside. At that point, people were being served normally, including those same girls. When Eoin noticed me inside, he became immediately aggressive. Without attempting to speak calmly or explain the situation, he started pushing me repeatedly and physically forcing me toward the door, acting more like security than bar staff. This happened in front of a full pub, with many locals watching. I tried multiple times to explain and to de-escalate the situation, but he refused to listen and continued to put his hands on me. He kept insisting that I “had to listen to him because he was the manager,” though his behavior was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I was singled out despite others being allowed to stay, and no reasonable explanation was given. Even after I tried to apologize to calm things down, I was told to “shove it.” I believe this kind of aggressive, confrontational behavior is bad for customers and bad for the business. It’s disappointing, especially in a pub I’ve supported regularly and where most of the staff do a much better job

30/12/2025: Over 30 euro for 2 spice bags and 1 satay sauce, extremely mid spice bag, tasty dynasty across the road is 10x better, this place is just lucky they’re the last open

10/08/2025: We were in Calverstown/Kilcullen last week, staying at a local B&B, & searching for some good Chinese food. We must've driven up & down the main road of Kilcullen a few times, in search of restaurants, before we saw the sign above the doorway 🤓 ✅️ Food was ok Portions were smaller than expected. "Long tray" description in the menu was misleading, as we were expecting a bigger size, good enough to feed 6 adults. We ordered the: • Shredded Crispy Chicken • House Special Chowmein (long tray) • House Special Fried Rice (long tray) • Sweet & Sour Pork • Salty & Spicy Chips (french fries) As we didn't dine there, we didn't get to enjoy or see the ambiance of the dining room. Service of the girls at the reception counter was adequate though. Helpful & efficient.

11/01/2026: Zero staff/customer interaction, maybe staff warned not to smile, food is average to good, owner rude and arrogant when confronted with complaint, would do well to drop into chemist next door and get some happy pills for himself and gloomy staff. NB Namesake in Rathcoole is complete opposite.

28/12/2025: We were late, seated from 9-10 pm. Food was tasty, but I ordered a smash burger and received a non smash burger... Maybe they were out of them for the day, it was still super tasty, but nothing was communicated, I I dunno, a little disappointing, but still very tasty.

03/09/2025: I visited Eddie Rockets Celbridge today for a quick bite at 8:29pm. After waiting a few minutes to be seated, the supervisor informed me that food service had ended and only takeaway was available, when I pointed out the restaurant closes at 9pm she reluctantly allowed me to order on the condition that I leave by 9pm. As I knew what I wanted I ordered boneless chicken wings and a chocolate milkshake, but was served chicken nuggets instead. When I questioned this, both the supervisor and chef insisted they were wings, which was incorrect as I’ve had the item many times before. I left without eating or paying, as the food was not what I ordered. I would advise the management of the outlet to carry out menu training for both supervisor and kitchen staff to have proper menu knowledge, and customers are not asked to leave before they even order. If you post any reviews of your experience and if you get a reply from Eddie Rockets to email them. Well they will not reply to your complaint or even acknowledge they received your experience of food or service. So dont bother emailing them, it saves you 5mins to do better things***

05/10/2025: Got a kebab and a pizza. All the food was cold on collection, kebab had little veg and zero taster, doner meat was near raw. I would not eat here again.

20/08/2025: My ordee 14" Pizza (Any 4 toppings), 10" Garlic Bread & Garlic Dip & & Portion of Tenders, 2 Chips & 2 Drinks ! Chicken nuggets and fries were not included in the order! Bad service! Never call me back and never send me missing items from my order; pizza was burned, chips not fresh, and food is no good!

27/11/2025: I waited 10 minutes to be served, and the cashier just kept turning her back on me. So I left.

20/08/2025: Jessica and Takisha are quite possibly the nicest two young ladies I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, I had been having a bad day and the short few moments I got to chat to them improved it ten fold, as well as this the service was quick and my crepe was exquisite and delectable, I will 100% be back and I just pray I’ll run into those two beautiful girls again 😊 🙏

26/01/2026: i gotta say i was pretty let down with this place. IDK what was in those spring rolls but it didnt taste good. Special fried rice was below average.

23/01/2026: I put through an order on the website which is difficult enough to navigate when you want to make a change. When making changes, the order reverted to pick up without me realising. Over an hour later I get a call telling me that my order that was fully paid for, had been sat there waiting an hour! They said it was my fault because I chose pick up. They could deliver the food and I could pay the delivery fee at the door (remember the food was over an hour old). Manager wouldn't speak to me because they were 'too busy'. They had no other solution. Not offered a refund or credit. Then the girl on the phone hung up. I will never, ever, buy from here again.

24/01/2026: Another FREEZING COLD CURRY! Soggy chicken soggy chips. I wont be ordering again alot of money to be wasting for a freezing cold soggy curry

11/12/2025: It's a pitty that we can't give 0 or -1 stars. Worst pizza ever, but like the worst by far! The dough looks plastic, and it's soggy as hell. For the price you pay you better off with a frozen pizza from lidl and you definitely get a better meal. Never again.

17/12/2025: I got delivered the wrong order and when I was on the phone with someone from the restaurant to try to fix it the person just dismissed me and took another call while was talking to me. I never got my order.
