29/12/2025: i got Chips and pizza the chips were not cooked and some are over cooked and burnt the pizza was not cooked properly and there was no Garlic dip

28/12/2025: Went ro this place many times until now, smell is very bad entering, outside not looked after at all even though location is great, OWNER not nice whatsoever, rude, not polite, no smile when welcoming the customers and it is very important in a business like that. Didn't feel welcome at all. So please be careful.

01/12/2025: Just feels a little run down now but the staff are amazing and the food coming in from swift is very good

11/01/2026: Zero staff/customer interaction, maybe staff warned not to smile, food is average to good, owner rude and arrogant when confronted with complaint, would do well to drop into chemist next door and get some happy pills for himself and gloomy staff. NB Namesake in Rathcoole is complete opposite.

24/12/2025: I’ve been visiting this pub regularly since arriving in Ireland on the 29th of September. It’s a local pub where I’ve met many locals, and until now I’ve always felt welcome. Most of the staff are friendly and professional, including other waiters and bar staff who do a great job. Unfortunately, my experience today was completely ruined by one waiter, Eoin, who presented himself as the manager. My friend and I stepped out briefly to get food, and when we returned there was a young apprentice waiter at the door along with a few young women who said they were waiting outside for their parents who were inside. The apprentice asked Eoin if we could re-enter, and he refused entry to both us and the girls. However, the girls were later allowed in by someone they knew, so we followed them back inside. At that point, people were being served normally, including those same girls. When Eoin noticed me inside, he became immediately aggressive. Without attempting to speak calmly or explain the situation, he started pushing me repeatedly and physically forcing me toward the door, acting more like security than bar staff. This happened in front of a full pub, with many locals watching. I tried multiple times to explain and to de-escalate the situation, but he refused to listen and continued to put his hands on me. He kept insisting that I “had to listen to him because he was the manager,” though his behavior was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I was singled out despite others being allowed to stay, and no reasonable explanation was given. Even after I tried to apologize to calm things down, I was told to “shove it.” I believe this kind of aggressive, confrontational behavior is bad for customers and bad for the business. It’s disappointing, especially in a pub I’ve supported regularly and where most of the staff do a much better job

05/10/2025: If you want a good pint and a cosy and warm place then here it is. Staff are always wonderful and friendly 👍

26/01/2026: i gotta say i was pretty let down with this place. IDK what was in those spring rolls but it didnt taste good. Special fried rice was below average.

23/01/2026: I put through an order on the website which is difficult enough to navigate when you want to make a change. When making changes, the order reverted to pick up without me realising. Over an hour later I get a call telling me that my order that was fully paid for, had been sat there waiting an hour! They said it was my fault because I chose pick up. They could deliver the food and I could pay the delivery fee at the door (remember the food was over an hour old). Manager wouldn't speak to me because they were 'too busy'. They had no other solution. Not offered a refund or credit. Then the girl on the phone hung up. I will never, ever, buy from here again.

17/12/2025: I got delivered the wrong order and when I was on the phone with someone from the restaurant to try to fix it the person just dismissed me and took another call while was talking to me. I never got my order.

29/12/2025: Chicken honey with chilli -- 80% honey, 0% chilli and 20% the rest. Rice sub average as well. Sorry folks!

24/12/2025: WOULDN'T LET THE DOG FINISH IT. QUALITY HAS BEEN ATROCIOUS LATELY. ABSOLUTE DIRT FOOD. WILL ALSO RIP THE CUSTOMER OF EVERY CHANCE THEY GET. LOVE TO OVER CHARGE. SOONER THIS CLOSES DOWN THE BETTER

24/01/2026: Another FREEZING COLD CURRY! Soggy chicken soggy chips. I wont be ordering again alot of money to be wasting for a freezing cold soggy curry

23/01/2026: Omg we’re do I start the place was freezing like an ice cube me and my family had to keep our jackets on I’ve never seen worse service in my whole life it’s not wheel chair friendly there no way you could get a wheelchair up that stairs I DO NOT RECOMMEND and the toilets were disgusting, I can explain it 🤢🤮DONT RECOMMEND
