The best restaurants in Kildare

25/07/2025: I’m amazed by how bad it is. The food isn’t great but I ordered a couple of times because I can get something reasonably healthy, but today it took over a hour to deliver and they delivered the bowl with the wrong ingredients. Congrats.

22/07/2025: it was yumm but small and expensive. €16.50 for a reg sized bowl and a Pepsi and I KNOW guac is extra but I didn't think it'd come to that price

05/03/2025: It’s a lovely place. Food is amazing there and taste unreal. Staff are always kind and lovely. Chelsea one of their staff members is so kind, attentive and always willing to go above and beyond for you to have a good time there.

24/10/2025: Don't know what's going on here lately, used to be great, ordered a pizza at 5.15pm today, got notification to say it went into oven at 5.20, (say 5 mins in oven ) got another notification at 5.43 to say the driver is on his way, I live 3 min drive from garage, pizza arrived at 6.10pm. Freezing cold . Rang to complain , they said they would send me out another one, that's arrived, lukewarm and totally burnt on the bottom. Never seen a place go downhill so much. Not giving me the option to add photos

13/09/2025: Absolutely terrible. Last time they gave us inedible food, had to recieve a refund. Thought we’d give them another chance. This time gave us pepperoni bites instead of Cajun chicken. My partner is Muslim and he ate one without realising first. It’s not that hard to see what people order and do it correctly. People could have allergies or anything ?! Terrible will never order from here again

12/10/2025: Great gluten free chips, only thing is there can be a bit of a wait but as coeliacs it's wort it as it can be difficult to find anywhere that does them.

27/09/2025: I recently ordered from here and food was really not up to standard as the chicken burger was not cooked properly at all luckily I checked the chicken before i ate more as is was definitely un cooked this could of serious food poising and is unexpectable to serve half cooked food , also chips were solid and seemed re heated and nor fresh at all would not recommend this take away as health and safety hazzard

03/09/2025: I visited Eddie Rockets Celbridge today for a quick bite at 8:29pm. After waiting a few minutes to be seated, the supervisor informed me that food service had ended and only takeaway was available, when I pointed out the restaurant closes at 9pm she reluctantly allowed me to order on the condition that I leave by 9pm. As I knew what I wanted I ordered boneless chicken wings and a chocolate milkshake, but was served chicken nuggets instead. When I questioned this, both the supervisor and chef insisted they were wings, which was incorrect as I’ve had the item many times before. I left without eating or paying, as the food was not what I ordered. I would advise the management of the outlet to carry out menu training for both supervisor and kitchen staff to have proper menu knowledge, and customers are not asked to leave before they even order. If you post any reviews of your experience and if you get a reply from Eddie Rockets to email them. Well they will not reply to your complaint or even acknowledge they received your experience of food or service. So dont bother emailing them, it saves you 5mins to do better things***

08/10/2025: Food was good but the service was abysmal, I usually give a lot of grace in fast food spots but when the place is not busy and the manager directly ignores you at the till 3 times to leave you waiting 12 mins just to ask for a spoon, you have to really wonder.

26/09/2025: Alright so I generally enjoy McDonald’s food but the service and restaurants are usually horrible. Maynooth however was so amazing I’m overjoyed and will definitely be back, I ordered my food on the kiosk and although it was a small order I was so impressed it was literally ready in 30 seconds 0 exaggeration. I took it outside and sat down in the lovely outdoor seating area with high quality chairs and tables and they were all very clean, also took a trip to the bathrooms which are small but also seemed fairly clean. Keep up the good work this is how you run a business❤️ Food was great by the way, most importantly. Chicken selects were very flavoursome

28/08/2025: This place was fab up until new owners took over,. Orders are been cancelled religiously, they don't answer the phone, food isn't the best, very oily, but the whole canceling orders is a joke!

03/08/2025: Me and my parents ordered and got chips battered sausage and a burger Chips had nothing in them or they were rock solid definitely reheats battered sausage was burnt This chipper has gone massively downhill

14/08/2025: Just 5 days ago I had one of the nicest curry’s I’ve ever had in my life from here, but I ended up falling violently sick, With food poisoning and Ive scuttlered my pants my more times than I want to admit but I honestly can’t wait to have another curry tonight

30/05/2025: It is generally wonderful the food is great also it wasn't perfect but it is as good as I would expect for the price I personally recommend the spicy chicken wings and the chilly beef ribs I often get them for takeout with a main from somewhere else as I am more of a fan of meat than saucey things

14/07/2025: Got the donor box.. 9.80.. it had so little meat in it it was realy a plastic box of chips. Way over priced for what it was.. it was nice to eat but not fantastic..

24/09/2025: I got Chicken & Broccoli with Noodles and a Sprite, €17.50. The Broccoli was yellow, brown and slimy. I threw half of it in the bin as it put me off. Overpriced below par food but nice Counter Staff. Shame really 😔

16/05/2025: Coke missing. Dry chicken, tasteless Satay sauce. Charged fir two rice's.

20/08/2025: Jessica and Takisha are quite possibly the nicest two young ladies I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, I had been having a bad day and the short few moments I got to chat to them improved it ten fold, as well as this the service was quick and my crepe was exquisite and delectable, I will 100% be back and I just pray I’ll run into those two beautiful girls again 😊 🙏

11/08/2025: Juliana and Zara are the best in customer service,it is so rear nowadays...they are hard working,very smiley and positive young ladies,they know how to make people happy and welcomed.My child is very happy,they were so warm even those we were almost the last customers. I really appreciate how nice they are.It is not about food,it is about people who work for the place.I hope the business owner and managers appreciate their hard work as much as we do(regular local customers) Thank you again!
