25/01/2025: This was my first time eating at Donatellos. I usually avoid Italian food as it is dairy- and wheat-intensive, both of which I have intolerances to. I need not have worried. Donatellos had a vegan menu and a vast range of wheat-free alternatives and went through them over the phone with me in advance. The chargrilled vegetable starter was delicious, as was the mushroom risotto for main. To top it all, the dessert was a rare find for me - a gluten-free and vegan chocolate tart which was heavenly. Service was friendly and efficient and members of staff were well versed in allergens etc. My friends had various pizzas, pasta al mare dishes etc. and all enjoyed their choices. The décor is lovely and there's a good ambience. I'm looking forward to returning.

19/04/2025: Went into drive thru waited 20 minutes to receive wrong order reasons from changing review

13/04/2025: Returning from the airport, we stopped for a quick breakfast. Waited more than 20 minutes for egg McMuffins after ordering. Food was great, but we really just wanted to get back on the road.

24/10/2024: Nice food especially spice bag...don't order if your hungry though because you'll be left waiting unfortunately. Madness the amount of time it takes!

21/02/2025: Easily the nicest kebab I've ever had, delicious, huge and great value for money. The staff are very friendly and welcoming too. Great spot!

12/01/2025: Great Food, But Overpriced and Stingy Perks China Kitchen in Leixlip serves undeniably superb food with quality ingredients, but the experience is soured by their blatant overpricing and poor customer service. While the dishes are flavorful and clearly made with care, the prices are sky-high. It’s hard to justify spending this much on a takeaway, no matter how good the food is. To make matters worse, they consistently forget to include prawn crackers with orders—something that should be standard with any Chinese takeaway. Their "freebies" policy is a joke. A free bottle of Coke or prawn crackers on orders over €30 or €60 might sound enticing, but it’s completely unrealistic. These token "perks" feel more like a marketing gimmick than a genuine gesture of appreciation for loyal customers. If you’re going to charge premium prices, at least deliver on the small extras without making customers jump through hoops. China Kitchen may have quality food, but the overall value leaves much to be desired. If they want to keep customers happy, they need to revisit their pricing and service approach. Until then, it’s hard to recommend wholeheartedly.

10/05/2024: The staff is very nice and friendly. The room that we stayed in was very clean and big for our family of 4 . I would recommend anyone to go there for sure .

01/09/2024: The cafe still had an hour before closing and refused to serve any coffee or hot chocolate beverages because they wanted to clean up and go home. They offered us Tea only as there is no cleanup required with hot water. Very poor service, last call should be 15 minutes before closing, not an hour.

15/12/2024: Pizza was disgusting. Place was filled with spiders crawling up the walls. Wouldn't recommend.

29/09/2024: Great-tasting pizza for only €12 and ready in 3 minutes. If you want pizza and everything is closed, this machine is a lifesaver.

18/03/2025: The food is delicious, munchie box is amazing vegetables in there are top tier, soups like the corn soup are amazing, their black bean and black pepper with noodle dishes are delicious would recommend to everyone about their food and the people working there are the nicest people i have ever met will always make you smile and happy 😘😎

08/11/2024: The food has honestly gone so bad this past year! I would not recommend. Our food was freezing over cooked and it looked like it was left there for ages and then re-heated again. Spent 30 euro on a spice box. I tried it again after last time to give it another chance but this will certainly be my last.
