The best restaurants in Kildare

12/09/2025: Very disappointed by the quality (or the lack of it) of the food and the subsequent level of service. I ordered sweet and sour king prawn dish to have at home. When I opened the box, a very strong smell of vinegar hit me. When I tasted the dish, the vinegar taste was even worse. Everyone in the house made the same comment about the smell. I phoned Dragon Boat and explained my issue. I was told that the operator tasted the sweet and sour sauce and that there was nothing wrong with the dish and he was not willing to make another portion or a different type of dish for me. He was simply not interested to resolve the issue but to only get me off the phone. I reiterated the fact that if I was dining in, I would not have paid for something I do not consider of acceptable standard. And yet, with a very arrogant tone of voice and without a hint of an apology, the worker told me he would not be doing anything for me as if everyone starts complaining, the restaurant would not be in business. Tonight, my consumer rights have not been respected and I am sharing my experience so people know what to expect ftom the staff in Drsgon Boat, Kilcock i.e. either hope for the best or stay hungry.

26/10/2025: Looked like a nice place but terrible quality food. I took a chicken burger that I couldn’t eat, the chicken was like rubber and I ask for orange juice and it tasted like the very cheap one they give you in the hotel. I would not recommend this place

11/10/2025: I hate how good here is because I have to eat it too often! Been ordering years from here and 98% of the time we’re always satisfied. Tried many dishes and items and have never been left down. Curry trays I always ask for extra curry sauce. Never fail. Chicken balls are always crispy. Aromatic duck and yuk sung is fabulous. Staff ate lovely, always giving kids Lillie pops even when we just pop in for a can of coke on a walk.

05/10/2025: Ordered a delivery late on Sunday, food was delicious and piping hot. Really good people to deal with too

21/10/2025: Had the pleasure of having lunch here today. The soup, cakes, and coffee we had were delicious. All the staff we met were friendly and very welcoming. It has a gorgeous atmosphere and beautiful setting and decor. It made our shopping experience extra special.

25/07/2025: Just ordered 2x snack boxes from here. The chicken wasn't even proper pieces and there was no seasoning or breading on any of the chicken.
