12/12/2025: The bread is good m. Mozzarella can be added more. Amount of onion is a bit too much

28/11/2025: Mario's was delicious.. didn't take long and would definitely go here again. The only thing is that I thought it was a sit in place but it hasn't been since 2020 so that needs changed. Drove from Leixlip to get it, worth it.

14/12/2025: Well what can I say the food is excellent for a chipper. Freshly made chips properly cooked. Very tasty fish with super crispy batter and then topped off with delishious crispy bits, excellent. The only problem with this place is their so called wall of fame showing famous people visiting their shop. There near the top of it was the name and picture of a convicted rapist Conor McGregor. Do they not know they shouldn't associate themselves with a criminal. Not good advertising in my humble opinion.

27/10/2025: Was told this is the best chipper in town. Stopped in friday night for dinner. They say you can eat there, but it seems its more of a takeaway spot. A lot of people came in after i ordered. Seems like my meal took a little long. Then when i got it to eat there, there wasn't any napkins. Fish overall was okay. Chips could have been cooked a little longer.

26/07/2025: Would not eat food from here again. The staff was rude and not helpful. Half of them stood outside on the street talking and the ones who stayed inside were very impatient and rude.

15/04/2025: Ordered from here based on other reviews but for the price the food is not great and portion size is small. The lamb bhuna the texture was muddy and no taste. Both curries bought was mostly sauce no meat. Naan was almost paper thin. DO NOT RECOMMEND, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

21/11/2025: Lovely Eddie Rockets with nice and friendly personnel. Foods tasty and good view over the main road. Bit hidden above the cafe, side entrance up the stairs.

01/12/2025: Was very disappointed in service here, tall irish guy with kinda long hair was really rude didn't catch his name, he also made us pay before we even got our food delivered, I've been going to Eddie Rockets for years and this was first time I had to pay before I got food, people behind me were not asked to pay first although they had a different server,,I will not be going back there,was charged 55 euro for two meals and treated like dirt,, disgraceful having someone like that working there

12/12/2025: After strolling around KV I fancied an Indian and Sitaaray came up as local so let’s go. Parking is challenging in Kildare town but got sorted. Walked up to the restaurant and there was only 1 other couple there…. Wasn’t sure. Went in got a nice welcome, brought to our table, given our menus plenty to choose from. Starters arrived promptly and were very nice Samosa, mains arrived with fresh garlic naan bread, have to say pilu rice and we had a Korma and Rogan Josh both plates were cleared.👍 (ps another couple arrived and take seemed to be busy ) Some points to note got a bottle of water brought to our table but were not told it would cost €3:15, chicken was a little chewy but ate able and atmosphere was a little flat. Would we go back yes because for all of us Indian food lovers we have to support these small businesses as they are getting harder to find every week 👍

10/09/2025: I go in here often and never have I seen too many staff on. There was 3 of them on and they just seem to be going around like headless chickens , nobody seem to know what they should be doing, and there was 1 particular girl there with long hair and she should've had it tied up.

08/09/2025: I used to come here with my family, but unfortunately, we’ve stopped because of the manager. She is consistently rude and grumpy, which makes the whole experience very unpleasant. It’s such a shame because the other staff members are polite and friendly, and the coffee itself is good. Sadly, the managers attitude overshadows everything else. I can’t recommend this place anymore, and we won’t be returning.
