14/02/2026: Forgot money i night I'm not a regular I had ordered explain to gentleman behind counter he told me to take the food and drop in money when passing which I did the food was fabulous paid 2 days later what a gentleman

06/02/2026: Chip portion small, fish batter was mushy (probably cake batter) and wet. Batter sausage nearly in 2 half's so very chewy. Staff unfortunately lacked a bit of personality, no manner or politeness. I wouldn't rush back.

14/02/2026: Ridiculous carry on, I was constantly calling and asking for updates on my order, they kept brushing me off on the phone, the order was 1 hour late at this point so 1hr 30 mins overall. They ended up cancelling the order instead of trying to compensate for the order being late. Horrible customer service and I urge everyone to stay away from this unprofessional business..

05/01/2026: First time getting a take away from here and it was absolutely delicious.

01/03/2026: 6 of us had lunch here today. Couldn't fault them. Staff were so attentive and friendly especially the manager Paulo, he is so kind and was lovely to the kids. He noticed some birthday gift bags we had with us and asked whose birthday it was and that if they liked complimentary ice creams after the meal all of the kids could have them. Food was gorgeous, great selection. Anytime we have been here has been great but wanted to highlight the lovely customer service today. It's rare nowadays to receive it!

15/01/2026: Burger patty wasnt fresh. Tasted like it should have been thrown out the day before. Kids had hot dog and chicken. Chicken tasted ok but very dry. Hot dog got a thumbs down. Not a good example of the eddie rockets franchise

15/05/2026: I’m a delivery driver and I went to collect my order but the managers decided not to give me my order for my skin colour extremely rude I don’t recommend nothing from here I then asked to speak to the boss and started cursing at me told me I should go back to my country I don’t belong there I will be making a complaint about this

15/04/2026: 29€... Burger & buffalo fries+ kid's meal. On the foto!! Burgers - very bad (it's stone) Look! I was completely confused! I had three hungry children who wanted to eat, and one children's meal was of this quality. There were no waiters around.

14/04/2026: We visited Eddie Rocket’s on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, and unfortunately left disappointed. I ordered a €16 meal and came with three children. According to the advertised offer, a children’s meal was supposed to be included. However, they provided the free kids’ meal for only one child and refused to give it to the others. Apparently, their policy means that the Tuesday offer applies to only one child per one adult — something that was not clearly communicated. Does this seem fair? We are very disappointed and will not be returning.

08/11/2025: Came in for lunch, butter chicken curry was very poor, naan bread was stale. Also quite expensive and only one sandwich on the lunch menu, no wraps.

20/02/2026: Fantastic food, fast service and an improvement, which i thought was a impossible, to the bigmac. Usual high price for Ireland, but half the price of my hotel.

01/02/2026: Food is okay, but far too many rudimentary mistakes from staff all the time. "Sorry, they're in training" has a limited lifetime as an excuse. It's beyond ridiculous how often they get orders wrong, as I don't go here very often, but anytime I do, there is always a problem with the order. The bathroom is still a mess 27 years after they first opened in spite of management constantly being told about it. Just do something about it rather than replying with generic *hit the return button* requests to email you about it. You are fully aware of the problems over the years from all the feedback you get online.

21/02/2026: Tonight I ordered a ginger boy, half of the box was onions, there was no garlic, 2 micro sticks of ginger and 2 slices of shitake mushrooms. Prawns were over cooked. I'm very disappointed because last time it was excellent. If there is no consistency in the food quality I won't order again.

26/07/2025: Would not eat food from here again. The staff was rude and not helpful. Half of them stood outside on the street talking and the ones who stayed inside were very impatient and rude.

15/04/2025: Ordered from here based on other reviews but for the price the food is not great and portion size is small. The lamb bhuna the texture was muddy and no taste. Both curries bought was mostly sauce no meat. Naan was almost paper thin. DO NOT RECOMMEND, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

30/03/2026: Poor quality stringy chicken and the spice bags seasoning is just salt and brown sugar from what I can tell. Not a single good Chinese in Clane unfortunately.

29/03/2026: Food pickledd with salt counter staff extremely rude, was good but food has deterioted and now us just salt. Wonder what they hiding with all the salt. Worst Chinese in clane now. Counter staff need to learn some manners, especially the Chinese lady, most rude person. Pity it used to be good.

06/04/2026: Spice bag comes with no veg and not much spice just salty. Got the satay sauce which is like a bowl of water and chicken curry very watered down again not much flavour won’t be getting it as a takeaway again!

04/03/2026: If i'm treating myself to a takeaway, this is usually where I order from. Their sweet and sour chicken is divine but it's a gamble whether you'll ache your jaw trying to chew it at times, which is a pity. Chips aren't great, usually cold and floppy. Egg fried rice is lovely! As is their chicken fried rice and BBQ sauce. 3/5 solely because the quality and texture of the food varies but the sweet and sour chicken generally is lovely.

17/01/2026: I am not a person to complain, I spent over 5 years working in the hospitality industry and understand that mistakes happen. I have also never left a negative review before however the experience last night warrants it. Dined here on the 14/01/25 as a group of 4. We booked in before going to see Christy Moore after seeing they were offering a special set menu pre concert. We were booked in for 18:30, with the concert due to start at 20:00. The meal was a disaster from start to finish. We were sat and given menus and water, that was fine. Over 20 minutes then went by with no sign of any staff member coming to our table to take our order. We then made several attempts to get someone’s attention to take our order, it appeared staff members were avoiding eye contact. We eventually had our order taken for our food and drinks. We had a visible view of the bar and could see our 3 drinks sitting on a tray waiting to be delivered for over 10 minutes while multiple members of staff walked by the bar repeatedly. Our starters arrived; two members of the party ordered soup which arrived in a tiny bowl and did not receive the brown bread it was due to be served with. They also did not receive soup spoons. We finished our starters and sat with our empty plates on the table again for a very long time. At this stage we were very conscious of the time as we had the concert at 8pm. One of the party had to walk to the complete other end of the restaurant and ask a staff member to clear our plates so that we could get our mains. Our mains arrived just after 19:30. Two of the party ordered the beef and asked for it with the sauce on the side. The beef arrived with the sauce on it. This was mentioned to the staff who delivered the food but due to the time pressure we were now under there was no time to send it back. To add insult to this mistake, both of the beefs were stone cold. It was not eaten. The other two mains ordered were the sea bass, which tasted fine but nothing special or amazing. There was also no vegetables served with the mains which for the price is just not acceptable. We went up to pay and at no stage were we asked by staff how our meal was. I brought up about the problem with the starters and mains and the staff member took 30% off the bill. Prior to the discount the bill was €195, not a small amount of money. Even paying the €150 for what we received was too much. He did not make eye contact or apologise during the entire interaction. This entire experience put such a dampener on our evening. I understand that the hotel was very busy with the concert that was on but the event had been announced months ago. It is not acceptable to be so underprepared. For a venue that holds so many events and weddings I simply do not understand how last night was allowed to happen. We are local to Naas and have visited the Killashee so many times for meals and special occasions. My fiancé and I were even considering having our wedding here. However, after last nights disaster we will not be and will think twice before coming here for a meal again.

02/01/2026: We went to the Pippin Tree restaurant and spent a lovely time celebrating my wife's birthday. The server Ilias was very kind and helpful. Service was very fast and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend The Pippin Tree for anyone looking for a nice, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with great food to match.

02/05/2026: I recently ordered from Mr Kebab Eskimo Pizza, and the pizza was very delicious and well cooked. The flavours were great, the toppings were fresh, and everything was cooked perfectly. You could really tell care was put into making it. Overall, a very satisfying experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for tasty pizza in Athy.

16/05/2026: From the second I stepped into this restaurant, I felt uncomfortable from the unfriendly face behide the counter staring like we weren't welcome, then to order food that came out with beard hair all over it was vile, my sausage with still pink in the middle, cheap bacon and a rubber egg, never again with your dry chips and sour faces.
