21/07/2024: Absolute rubbish. Their website says open at 1230. We get there and their sign on the door says 1pm. We wait till 13:20 as we hear its the best chipper around. No one shows up the place is dark. We leave at 13:30. What a disappointing restaurant.

19/02/2025: The food was fantastic, I asked to remove the chilli and they kindly did. the taste of the food and the presentation of the wonderful dish.

09/01/2025: Amazing service, food came within 20 minutes of ordering and the person I talked to on the phone was so friendly and kindly suggested some dishes for us to try. 10/10 would recommend !

08/02/2025: Naked Pizza is the healthier alternative that doesn’t compromise on taste or that comfort-food feeling.The pizza base was not too thick (which works for me as a gym girlie) and there was minimal grease. The tomato sauce was fresh yet well seasoned. It was a perfect pepperoni pizza. The spicy crispy chicken tenders were the juiciest yet crispiest tenders I’ve eaten. I’d eat 30 of them. The Manager, Gavin was cool, professional and kind. He showed me how to make a round pizza out of dough after I told him my failed attempt to make homemade pizza.

24/03/2025: Certainly! Here's a review you can use: --- I have been a regular at Insomnia Newbridge for a long time, visiting almost daily with friends and our dog. The manager has always been fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and always accommodating, making the café a great place to relax. However, in the past few days, there seems to be a new supervisor who has made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Their attitude is unwelcoming, and the warm atmosphere we always loved has completely changed. Despite the manager always allowing dogs inside, this new supervisor has suddenly made an issue of it, which feels unnecessary and unfair. We haven’t seen the manager lately, and honestly, it’s disappointing to feel unwelcome in a place we’ve enjoyed for so long. I really hope things go back to the way they were, as this café has always been a staple for us in Newbridge.

18/03/2025: Always something missing from order usually drinks and sides but have had mains missing. Then take 40 mins to get missing items. If you're lucky enough to get your food you get to look forward to reheated chips, stale prawn crackers and chewy chicken. We order at least once a week in case you're wondering if it was a once off. It was one too many times for us unfortunately and will be finding somewhere else now.

22/11/2024: Food is always great but very overpriced and the portions of chips are tiny only enough to feed one person with paid 7.50 for half a bag of chips and 2 garlic dips Bella’s down the road from it are a lot cheaper and better portions and Bella’s food is also delicious

14/12/2024: ⚠️ This review is for Apache, not Peking. The pizza is great! They have an amazing variety of toppings, good service whether you pick it up or want it delivered. You might get confused trying to find it at first because it's 2 restaurants in 1. I recommend it over Peking.

12/11/2024: Delivery arrived after 1 hour 30 mins and cold. Called to complain and was challenged on time it took to arrive (told it was ordered 30 mins prior only - had to share the time stamp from Revolut!). Then lady on phone half accused me of trying to get free food etc. regular order previously but won’t again, terrible service.

19/02/2025: Very nice staff and not so long waiting times for meals. The food is really delicious, is definitely worth a visit when you want good and delicious food. The chicken curry tasted a bit boring for Indian food, but the chicken wings in BBQ were fantastic. 🤭😍 Thanks to the whole team 🍽👨🏾‍🍳. Ich wurde des öfteren leider vergessen und wartete mal halbe Stunde.

12/12/2024: waitress was very rude and abrupt, atmosphere was lovely - but service was just awful, waitress was rude, abrupt - we were given desert menu and she came back about 30 seconds later to get our order, I apologised and said we hadn’t looked or decided yet and she placed both hands on the table and stood waiting for me to make up my mind! I was humiliated - definitely giving me the message to hurry and we weren’t getting time - so I’m afraid you need to sharpen your customer service and be pleasant - very gruff service - alot of leaning across you to collect plates and put out cutlery - I had to sit back and push my chair back to stop being knocked - so always loved going to the Keadeen and have had great times there but won’t be back for a long time - there are more welcoming restaurants in Kildare - I know this waitress has been there a long time - and I felt like she was being aggressive and personally rude to me!
