The best restaurants in Kildare

18/12/2025: Cracking traditional Irish boozer. Football and racing on TV. Looks, crannies and snugs to hide in. Great pint of Guinness, good atmosphere but food was superb. Some of the best wings, ribs and pizza I've had in pub in quite sometime. Good mix of ages, full of locals, very welcoming. Absolutely goung go again.

03/05/2025: Not a very good experience, Rashers and pudding rock hard, very overdone. Chips and mushrooms very undercooked. Wrap was very dry. Service not the best. Will not be back.

12/04/2025: The Singapore fried rice was very good and the portion was massive. Spice bag was well, I'm not sure. The chips were cooked perfectly and the seasoning was as good as you get but the chicken? What was that? I've eaten my fair share of chicken but that was not chicken, certainly not like anything that I have ever tasted. It was oily and had a fat content that even brown meat of chicken does not have. Snake? I'm not sure, it was definitely not chicken.

23/08/2025: Good place for a family evening out. Meals are limited by choice but very nice and the bets are collected and paid out at the table. Good bit of Friday night fun :-)

21/11/2025: Just had my amazing dinner from Paprika Pizza!!! Absolutely stunning! Have to say that there is no other pizza as Paprika Pizza in town or probably in Ireland! Service and and staff are amazing and prompt straight forward delivery services, including their own app. where you can order food in a sparkle. 100% recommend this lovely place! Thanks all amazing team for the great food!

15/11/2025: Expensive at €60+ pp no alcohol for lunch. Lovely atmosphere and great staff, but food is a bit "Kings New Clothes" with presentation not making up for poor flavour.

31/10/2025: We booked a party of eight...family occasion. First impression..excellent and spacious dining room Varied dishes ordered...fish beef etc..all were excellent..taste particularly and portion size. Friendly good humoured service..Very enjoyable experience ..will definitely visit again..

14/09/2025: Ordered in, asked for takeaway container for very large positions of leftovers. Told us one container was enough, then she said she would pack up food for us. Over half of each leftovers portion was not packaged up and was very rude. Spent 60€ between two starters and main courses and half of it was thrown away because they wouldn’t give out packaging container. Will not be back.

24/08/2025: Changing this review as of August 2025, bumping to 5 stars Food still really good, always consistent. Staff also really friendly. We’re regulars here and it will likely stay that way!

18/11/2025: Go to spot for me and my friends especially after the cinema! Absolutely addicted to the hot dogs and loaded fries never once had a complaint and have been here many times now! Tried 2 different pizzas and honestly not the greatest fan personally, found the toppings a bit dull and the base just didnt taste great to me. Staff are always nice with great smiles :) and cleanliness hasn't been an issue.

29/10/2025: Place is very nice i like the vibe but. Security were racist towards me and asked me to leave with no reason. Asked for the manager but Security said they don't need the manager to discuss as they are over the management. Court management need to have a control over the Security as they have been racist towards a specific community. I would like to discuss more about this if the management can contact me at the earliest. The Security even said I would be arrested but when I asked them to call the guards they said they don't have to and to leave the property. Requesting the management to look into the matter. My image was tournisd. And It's not justified. Ireland has been secular country.

08/12/2024: pizza was disgusting cold and chicken on pizza was not fresh it was auwfull and smelly we left bin thr pizza and drove home empty stomach

27/11/2024: Myself & my partner decided to visit this restaurant after not being there for quite some time. We were looking forward to it as food was always amazing & staff were lovely. How disappointed could we have been!!!When we went to order we asked the waitress did they still do the "lovely coleslaw" & she told us "no, the chef thinks it's too time consuming to make it" We should have left then!!!! We decided on the wings to share, which were clearly clearly taken out of the microwave & a small bit of hot sauce put over them. The main course consisted of my partner having greasy, heavily battered cod with frozen chips & I having the the part boiled pasta, tossed with boiled chicken & what seemed like a tin of condensed mushroom soup. No taste & absolutely zero effort put into each dish. The so-called "chef" should be ashamed of himself presenting food like this to paying customers. When we complained, the waitress (who to be fair was a lovely lady) understood & didn't charge for the pasta dish. Such a disappointing experience & as locals to the area, we won't be back.

14/11/2025: Chip portion small, fish batter was mushy (probably cake batter) and wet. Batter sausage nearly in 2 half's so very chewy. Staff unfortunately lacked a bit of personality, no manner or politeness.

07/09/2025: We're definitely going to pay for delivery for somewhere further away. We get from here due to convenience but not anymore. The Chicken fillet burger...was that even actual chicken? The amount of mayonnaise thrown on it , after scraping half a jar off... Then you're left with a tiny piece of "meat" you squeeze it and the amount of liquid coming out of it wasn't normal. Not to mention you can't even take a bite without whole thing falling apart. Do not get a milkshake from there either . They offer different flavors but it's just milk with food coloring not even syrup. If you like a proper thick milkshakes you will be disappointed. Only milk with bits of ice in it. Held off bad reviewing this place for ages but had to be done. Wasted enough money there. The staff are not polite either.you have to repeat yourself a million times then they get annoyed because they can't understand you. Roma is far better and not far away.
