07/09/2025: We're definitely going to pay for delivery for somewhere further away. We get from here due to convenience but not anymore. The Chicken fillet burger...was that even actual chicken? The amount of mayonnaise thrown on it , after scraping half a jar off... Then you're left with a tiny piece of "meat" you squeeze it and the amount of liquid coming out of it wasn't normal. Not to mention you can't even take a bite without whole thing falling apart. Do not get a milkshake from there either . They offer different flavors but it's just milk with food coloring not even syrup. If you like a proper thick milkshakes you will be disappointed. Only milk with bits of ice in it. Held off bad reviewing this place for ages but had to be done. Wasted enough money there. The staff are not polite either.you have to repeat yourself a million times then they get annoyed because they can't understand you. Roma is far better and not far away.

24/07/2025: My husband ordered a fresh cod and chips for me. I was very disappointed to discover was a half of fresh cod fillet mixed with a smoked cod abd then a batter burger which looked dry overcooked was in the bag if food. As I had ate the first piece of fresh cod. I didn't think their was any point ringing them up to complain however I was very disappointed my order wasn't what I expected considering I had specifically ordered from that takeaway as the fish and chips wer the best around naas. I won't be ordering again

09/09/2025: ordered a bowl through just eat only for it to turn up without the toppings i paid for , no guacamole, no sour cream and only one of the meats i paid for. i paid 20 something for the entire order only for it to not bee made properly. very disappointed

08/10/2025: We come here quite often service is always lovely. Staff are so friendly and are so quick with seating you and getting your order in. Food today was so fresh and filling. Their milkshakes are amazing and we always leave happy. Our favourite staff member who we don't have his name always looks after us so well and we are pretty sure he is a supervisor. He deserves a raise he is always so welcoming and friendly whenever we are there and looks after us so well.

13/09/2025: So, I order some rocket garlic cheese, and when the food just arrived it was SCARYYYY!!!!! THE CHEESE WASN' T EVEN MELT🤮🤮🤮 AND ALSO THE GARLIC SOUCE WAS TOO MUCH🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢 THEN I asked to melt the cheese and them were so rude and they said :"It melts by itself "🤨🤨 AND THEN I SAW THE EXACTLY SAME FRIES TO ANOTHER TABLE AND THE CHEESE WAS MELT LIKE WTFFF😑😑

20/06/2025: Great place , I love the breakfast toastie with ballymaloe relish. Service can be a little slow ,but that's down to the tiny space the girls have to work in, something the owners should sort out because it's a busy spot. Great seating in and outside.

15/09/2025: I am a regular customer and always enjoyed cajun pizza. However, I am very disappointed with their quality recently. For the last two orders in a row, the pizza was so bad, toppings were almost nothing as it used to be, and besides ordering regular base as usual, it ends up as a thin flat bread. This is not apache style. Waste of money.

22/10/2025: We had dinner for six at The Gallops Sunday 19 October. The younger staff were lovely and really tried their best, but parts of the experience let it down. There was loud banter and shouting between older staff across the room, which made it hard to hold a normal conversation. I also ordered the roast striploin of beef, but what arrived seemed like a different cut altogether. I emailed afterwards with some feedback but only received a polite, generic reply. It’s a pity, because it’s a nice venue and could easily do better

12/10/2025: Fish and chips, fish appeared to be from freezer. Very small portion, tasteless and found out with in 2 hours it was off, very off. Tagliatelle with mushrooms wasn't fit to call a starter. Apples weren't cooked in apple buy. Very expensive for VERY POOR quality and portions. Never again.

30/09/2025: Delicious food in an amazing setting. We visited for Sunday lunch. Great menu with lots of options to choose from. The hispi cabbage was delicious for starter and the star of the show was the beef. All accompaniments were also delicious. Everything was perfectly seasoned too. Only slight issue we had was one of our party had to ask several times for a spoon for the onion soup; by which time it was a little cool. Other than that it was superb.

15/08/2025: We had a fantastic experience at the Mill restaurant. When we arrived at the venue, there had been a mix up with our booking (not the fault of the venue) but the team found a space for us despite it being sold out. On hearing that we were on our anniversary we were given complimentary drinks. The service was fantastic, even though our table was outside the usual service space. Senan who was our waiter was extremely attentive, professional and informed of the menu and suitable wine pairings. We will be coming back for sure. Thank you for making our anniversary special!

26/10/2025: Looked like a nice place but terrible quality food. I took a chicken burger that I couldn’t eat, the chicken was like rubber and I ask for orange juice and it tasted like the very cheap one they give you in the hotel. I would not recommend this place

25/09/2025: We had the pleasure of celebrating my daughters 18th there. Unbelievable service friendly staff. Amazing food . Can't wait to go back.5 star.

14/09/2025: Ordered in, asked for takeaway container for very large positions of leftovers. Told us one container was enough, then she said she would pack up food for us. Over half of each leftovers portion was not packaged up and was very rude. Spent 60€ between two starters and main courses and half of it was thrown away because they wouldn’t give out packaging container. Will not be back.

24/08/2025: Changing this review as of August 2025, bumping to 5 stars Food still really good, always consistent. Staff also really friendly. We’re regulars here and it will likely stay that way!

28/07/2025: There was no fish, only cheese as a meat alternative (pre-sliced) No butter or mayo offered on bagel which turned out to be incredibly sweet (it was a poppy seed bagel). I was asked twice about having it toasted which I now think was as so poor Tasteless coleslaw with some crunch Tasteless emmental# Take away ... €7.50. If people think that is good value, I am gobsmacked. Never again, Londis a freshly baked baguette with veg and cheese is €3-4 and actually pleasant to eat

21/09/2025: On a visit to Leixlip last year we called into Eileen’s and were immediately impressed by the warmth of the welcome we received. Great coffee, (l travel in Europe a great deal and know my coffee) food was freshly made on the premises and was delicious. A fantastic choice of cake, freshly baked are highly recommended. When it came to pay, there were six in our party, we were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost. We enjoyed ourselves so much we were able to visit Leixlip again this year and made sure we started our day with a trip to Eileen’s once again enjoying the same quality of choice and service. 18/08/2025: Lovely place stumbled on by hazard. Home made sourdough sandwiches using a home starter and lovely looking homemade cakes and treats. Little outdoor sitting protected by a barrier from the street / road which catches the sun nicely. Inside has tables and didn’t feel rushed. A little warm in the heat but still bearable. The ladies running it were perfectly friendly a delight to order from and be served by. Look forward to coming back in during the week!

17/07/2025: thanks for making a delicious Vesuvio pizza with the most amazing roasted peppers rather than raw ones (like they do in other places) as it gives a lovely flavour. Your carbonara and wings are a must in our house too. Always friendly staff when ordering.
