25/05/2025: Very Bad, didn’t take order correctly. When arrived inedible. To be fair quick delivery but doubt back log of customers. Simple would I return NO.

24/04/2026: Very bland, undercooked and stale tasting chips. Fish was dry and flavourless. The tartar sauce was tasteless and only helped as a dip to add moisture for the dry chips. Very disappointed from what was in my mind the best chipper in Naas at one point. Will be trying somewhere else next time.

21/09/2025: On a visit to Leixlip last year we called into Eileen’s and were immediately impressed by the warmth of the welcome we received. Great coffee, (l travel in Europe a great deal and know my coffee) food was freshly made on the premises and was delicious. A fantastic choice of cake, freshly baked are highly recommended. When it came to pay, there were six in our party, we were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost. We enjoyed ourselves so much we were able to visit Leixlip again this year and made sure we started our day with a trip to Eileen’s once again enjoying the same quality of choice and service. 18/08/2025: Lovely place stumbled on by hazard. Home made sourdough sandwiches using a home starter and lovely looking homemade cakes and treats. Little outdoor sitting protected by a barrier from the street / road which catches the sun nicely. Inside has tables and didn’t feel rushed. A little warm in the heat but still bearable. The ladies running it were perfectly friendly a delight to order from and be served by. Look forward to coming back in during the week!

15/02/2026: I’m only in Kildare 6 years and have tried every chipper from newbridge to portarlington. I always come back to Macari’s Kildare town (both) The staff are so nice and the food is always soooo nice. I will continue to be a loyal customer of these guys

20/09/2025: I waited for my order for nearly 120 mins = 2 hours now and it didn't came at all. So frustrating. Called the given number and no one has received it at all. I am giving the rating of service as 1 as there's no way to give them -100. Stay away.

18/02/2026: I had a fantastic experience at Central Grill in Ballymany, Newbridge! From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, generous portions, and full of flavour. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into every dish.The menu offers great variety, and the prices are very fair for the standard of food and service. My favourite dish Fish & Chips. Overall, Central Grill is a real gem in Newbridge — consistent, tasty, and always a pleasure to visit. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys great food and top-notch hospitality!

08/08/2025: Been going to Bradburys for years it has a nice atmosphere and the service is good, recently there have been changes to the cakes which have a mass produced feel and do not live up to the standards of previous years, today I ordered a toasted roll with chicken and a coffee got charged an extra euro because I asked for it toasted, starting to question why I go now

21/06/2025: Cake was stale and coffee cold. Disappointing considering this used to be my go to spot for coffee with a friend for years.

14/04/2026: I had a terrible experience with customer service at Burtown house. I booked a night away at the stable yard. Online what I booked was the house which sleeps 6 people. When I arrived I was checked into the studio apartment. This was not what I booked and had the booking reference. When it was brought to the manager I was told that the house was booked. I was very disappointed. Nothing was done. When I checked out I asked to speak to the owner. I was told it was a booking.com error and was made feel it was my fault. The owner told me he was very disappointed. Nothing was done and left feeling very upset by the whole experience. It’s a shame because it’s a lovely venue and this was for a birthday weekend. I sent the owner my email for booking reference stating the stable yard was booked and he said he would be in touch but 2 weeks later I have got no reply. So so disappointing and very upsetting customer service experience. I was made feel it was my fault even though I didn’t get the accommodation I had booked. I appreciate your response. It is clear that you are taking no responsibility for the booking error and are blaming your third party platform on me. I am the consumer that did nothing wrong apart from book the stable yard at the rate that was advertised. On arrival to the premises, it was acknowledged that there was an error with the booking which once again was not my fault. Yet again, no proper apology or accountability or no compensation was forthcoming during my stay and following my stay. It is your premises and your booking platform and I am the one that suffered during a special birthday trip that should have been memorable. It is a shame as it’s a beautiful spot

15/03/2026: We had a fab stay in the studio apartment. The studio itself is beautiful, warm and well decorated and thank you to James for lighting the fire for us while we had dinner. All staff, particularly David and Nazime were very friendly and made the experience all the better. We only stayed one night and wish we had stayed longer. Booked into the green barn for an evening meal and breakfast. Food was outstanding, compliments to the kitchen staff. Service at both meals was fantastic. Will be highly recommending to all friends and family at home and hope to return in the near future.

01/03/2026: Wasted time on a Sunday. The place should be open from 1 p.m. There's a sign saying it'll be open from 2 p.m. It's 2:05 and there's no one there. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

30/12/2025: My favourite coffee shop in Newbridge! The staff in here are always so so lovely and accommodating. And insomnia in general does the nicest hot chocolate! Love coming here

23/11/2025: Ordered a flat white. It was not the best. Milk was textured wrong. It would pass as cappuccino but not flat white. Was asked if I wanted it "strong" whatever that means. Coffee itself did not taste good... Also was given a dirty knife.
