The best restaurants in Kildare

31/12/2024: Booked a table for 5 for a Birthday celebration, we were made feel very welcome on arrival, food portions were very generous, served by Tracey, who added great entertainment to the occasion. Food was tasty and served by Tracey without any rush. Also packed up left overs to take away. Will definitely return.

31/12/2024: Tracey made our evening brilliant. She is by far the best waitress I’ve met. Friendly warm welcoming, very efficient. Lovely lady. Made our evening beautiful. And will return because of her.

20/10/2024: The Irish breakfast and French toast were completely greasy, and the sausage was undercooked, not to mention the coffee, which was terrible

08/03/2025: There is an entry fee of 7.5e per child The food was just ok to eat and the wait for the sandwiches was very long.

17/02/2025: When you bring your small child into places like these, you don’t expect them to be knocked down by an adult staff member. If you’re working around small children, your main priority should be to be mindful of where you’re going. My 13 month old daughter was knocked down with an extreme force by one of the girls working there that she sent my daughter flying and hitting the side of her head on the steering wheel of one of the trikes. It was very difficult to console her that even breastfeeding wasn’t helping. She’s left with a big swollen red mark and now we’re going to have to get her seen by a doctor for a peace of mind to make sure there’s no fracture. I understand this was an accident, but this experience coupled with waiting 40 minutes for two simple sandwiches has put me off from ever coming back. Good selection of toys though but not worth a 20 minute drive.

06/04/2025: the overall service is great and have lovley workers but i come every couple days and get my order relitavley fast. in recent times ive come on sundays and the qeues are abnauctios leading down past the ice cream shop having only 2 people to handle such lines isnt fair. I advise to hire more people or have more staff on sundays in particular to the weather as many people will be coming in.

06/04/2025: Amazing smoothies made with care and love and very kind interactive staff! Maynooth Jump Juice above any other juice bar!! EDIT : The recent days I have came in it’s only been one person, i was shocked to hear that there are only 2 PEOPLE WORKING!! These queues are NOT manageable for one person I have heard complaints within the queues about how there should be more staff! Absolutely beautiful smoothies and kindest girls but this needs to be sorted out ASAP!

15/11/2024: Service (and premises) left a lot to be desired. Booking today was not met with the basic level of respect customers should receive. We will never return.

17/03/2025: Seems to be a thing here where orders are left short or wrong. So bad, you need to check everything at the drive thru window and ask for the rest of the order. Didn’t do it this time and order left short again. Not even that busy. Don’t go here, not only the worst McDonald’s for messing up orders, easily the worst eatery I’ve been to because of this. Read the other reviews. A lot better options nearby, Burger King, chicken guys, restaurant in Tesco extra etc.

24/12/2024: I ordered from Thai station in Sallins for the first time over the weekend and it exceeded my expectations! Stephanie was very helpful and kind and delivered excellent customer service. Will definitely be coming back!

27/11/2024: Food was great , came well packaged and and tasted great at an affordable price . Would have like a little more duck in my box but hey for the price it was very nice , sushi was good too . Only downfall was they rang the doorbell for the delivery when I asked not to. They did include chop sticks without asking and the sushi was well presented . Overall very worth it , will order again

23/02/2025: Favourite chipper in Naas, lovely traditional chips and their burgers are step above an ordinary chipper. A lot of thought with extra topping options for superior burgers. A bit dear dearer then others but you get what you pay for and a step up from the norm.

20/02/2025: Food is excellent 👌, the service is a big let down, asked when we were seated, I suppose you want a menu (rude tone), no I'm sitting here for the fun of things, then to be ignored for over 15 minutes and 2 tables that were in after us got there order taken before us, went to pay to be completely ignored by the same person again, if she spent more time on her customer skills than her eye makeup, it would go a long long way

25/02/2025: The spice bag I got was like no other, it tasted phenomenal 😋 the chicken was nice and crispsy and chips were sweet and spicy, delicious chips 😋 The best spice bag I ever had! The lady was very friendly. I can't wait to try they're sweet chili chicken recipe 😋

15/03/2025: My second time here for dinner was far better than the first. The service was excellent and the food was delicious especially the vegetarian options. A couple of suggestions - Some small plate options would be great such as olives/salted almonds and also desert wine options too for those who don't want to drink coffee at night. Would be great to see more local offerings/antiques in the shop on the way out, I'm sure more people would be in the buying mood after dinner.

10/03/2025: Went for Sunday lunch with our baby. Staff were accommodating sitting us without a booking. The food was just fabulous! So delicious!! The chefs are amazing, massive credit to them producing such wonderful tasty dishes. I had the catch of the day and the fish was cooked perfectly. I was just disappointed that we didn’t have time to get dessert as we had an appointment to run off too. But it’s more reason to go back again soon! We live in Dublin City but this is worth the trip and €50 for 3 courses of great quality delicious food is good value compared to what we would pay for the same in Dublin.

30/12/2024: Guys working hard today but have no idea how to make coffee. Flat white was a single shot with warm milk - no froth.
