22/05/2025: Great spot for food Haven't stayed here but looks nice there to stay Service were friendly and the food here is great and the price's are very good Would recommend it

04/05/2025: My 10 year old daighter went here for dinner today. We ordered chicen wings which were quite tasty. I ordered roast beef. The beef just fell apart as i touched it with the fork. The mashed potatoe so so watery it was running through the gravy which turned my stomach. There was a bowl of veg presented with mushed up broccoli. Very very disappointed. After sending the dinner back not even an apology from the kitchen. I was just asked did I want another look at the menu. I can safely say I wont be returning here anytime soon.

29/05/2025: Nice little place Breakfast was minimal for the price and not that great other restaurants do better for the price. Coffee was like dish water very standard put together café. Staff were very friendly

26/04/2025: This is surely the best breakfast place in Newbridge. Everything they serve is fresh and cooked to perfection. There's plenty on the menu for everyone - healthy options, vegetarian options etc. The service really puts a smile on your face, It's the perfect spot to start your day with pleasant vibes and delicious food.

31/03/2025: Very nice old style pub at the front and a modern outdoor area at the back. Didn't have food but everything was clean and toilets were spotless.

25/04/2025: When you bring your small child into places like these, you don’t expect them to be knocked down by an adult staff member. If you’re working around small children, your main priority should be to be mindful of where you’re going. My 13 month old daughter was knocked down with an extreme force by one of the girls working there that she sent my daughter flying and hitting the side of her head on the steering wheel of one of the trikes. It was very difficult to console her that even breastfeeding wasn’t helping. She’s left with a big swollen red mark and now we’re going to have to get her seen by a doctor for a peace of mind to make sure there’s no fracture. I understand this was an accident, but this experience coupled with waiting 40 minutes for two simple sandwiches has put me off from ever coming back. Good selection of toys though but not worth a 20 minute drive. EDIT: Even though I had a terrible experience due to an accident, ironically enough, I still recommended this place to some of my friends with the little ones. Don’t get me wrong, this cafe is a great place if your child is 2,5+ years old, but I wouldn’t bring a 1 year old here, let alone a baby. It just doesn’t feel safe. To the girl who accidentally pushed her: I worked as a waitress myself so I understand how hard this was for you, and am genuinely sorry that we both went through this. Please also understand that seeing my daughter get pushed and injured at such a young age was very shocking and upsetting and it changed a whole day for us. What further disappointed us was that 15 minutes after the incident, no one came over to check in on us or speak to us about what happened. I stand behind what I said about the long wait on the food, but if you come here for a quick snack and a cup of coffee, you’ll probably be fine.

22/04/2025: It's paradise for young kids! Brought my 18 month old who is an absolute rascal and he was loving it! Looooads of toys and activity tables etc for kids up to 4-5yo. Nice little menu for both kids and adults. Great for parties too! Spend as much time as you like, there's tables and chairs for chilling out. Shoes are left outside the room by everyone so it's actually fairly clean! Very happy with our first time over all 😊 definitely coming back!

29/03/2025: Brilliant! I was specifically looking for a queit quirky place for a toastie and coffee. Well did I find it in spades. Staff are brilliant (mad as spoons but lovely). Eileen herself- well I'm not convinced of her sanity. She recommends mayonnaise with everything. Including stew and curries. Do yourself a favour and go here for good food and a bit of craic.

26/04/2025: I ordered a takeaway that included a kids main of chicken pakora and chips for my 4-year-old. I was really disappointed to be charged €11.50 for what turned out to be just three small pieces of battered chicken and a small portion of chips. For a kids meal, this felt really overpriced. Not even a drink included. Kids options are usually more affordable and supposed to be a goodwill gesture from the restaurant. Unfortunately, the portion and value just didn’t add up in this case. Edit: The management are feigning concern in Google reviews asking for an email. I had already emailed before leaving this review and am yet to receive a response

26/05/2025: We have eaten here at least 7 or 8 times over the past couple of years. My partner likes the crispy chilli chicken and I would normally have the Bangkok. We never had an issue before today. The crispy chilli chicken was as you would expect very good however they did mix up the order by bringing extra sides that had not been ordered but they would have been chargeable. The Bangkok portion size was equal to that of a starter. We were pressed for time so did not send it back however, I did let the waitress know when she asked if everything was OK. She apologised, but there was no feedback from management. Very very disappointing as every other time the food, service and ambience has been excellent. P

13/04/2025: The food here is honestly really good and definitely worth trying. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined the experience. We waited an unreasonably long time just to have someone come over and take our order, and only after we flagged someone down ourselves. The staff didn’t seem interested in being there at all, the waitress looked annoyed and unapproachable the entire time. It felt like we were bothering them just by showing up. It’s a shame, because the kitchen clearly knows what they’re doing, but the service needs improvement. I’m not sure the food alone is worth dealing with that kind of treatment

27/04/2025: Ordered a special meal for one plus a munch box and it was terrible. Barely anything in the much box, felt like eating from a leftover box. The Indian food in itself was tasteless. I ordered Bhuna (their top rated dish) and as a South Asian, honestly I don’t even know how people order Indian dishes and call them tasty. Unfortunately not ordering from here anymore.

21/03/2025: Honestly my local in Newbridge is beyond belief! Fresh, hot food delivered so fast it's crazy. They usually have great offers but also there's always discount codes available via a Google search so a family meal is generally really great value. Our Newbridge branch has some really nice delivery staff too. Highly recommended

18/03/2025: Always the best pizza in Newbridge, great delivery service - super quick and very polite. The staff are SO nice and helpful - the battery in my car died and they helped me get it started :)

11/12/2024: I’m a frequent customer at your premises in Clane. Last Saturday we got two pizzas. The topping on mine was undercooked and one half of the other one was the same. We drive round to say this to a member of staff. We asked for it to be cooked a bit more. She took the pizzas back and returned with an attitude that would shock you. She was extremely rude No manners whatsoever. She said it couldn’t be put back in oven and asked if we wanted one pizza instead of two. To say I was taken aback is an understatement. We didn’t get a word in with her. (Black hairband and grey zipped hoodie). We paid €38 for one pizza. Not an apology or anything. I certainly won’t be spending my hard earned money with you again. And you seriously need to have a word with your employee. Because if she treats all customers the way she treated us then I’m afraid you will be missing a lot of people I’m absolutely disgusted I hope she’s very proud of herself and with an attitude like hers she certainly won’t be going very far in a customer based job

25/02/2025: The spice bag I got was like no other, it tasted phenomenal 😋 the chicken was nice and crispsy and chips were sweet and spicy, delicious chips 😋 The best spice bag I ever had! The lady was very friendly. I can't wait to try they're sweet chili chicken recipe 😋
