30/09/2025: Ordered a cake from them, when I went to pick it up, it was melted and slid off the base before I could even get home. The got my order wrong and when I complained they argued that they gave me a discount. Which was lies. Instead they blocked me on their business page on Instagram sugardrop77. No refund, just an apology. Never order from them again

23/06/2025: They were late to give my daughter her bday cake were left waiting hours only to be given the wrong cake. Showed no remorse daughter was promised a Taylor Swift cake. Don't even think they bothered making it I think they just chanced their arm. They refunded the money a week later. Too little too late damage wad done. Charged alot for the cake too

09/10/2025: My partner rang the church left a message and missed a call so he called back and was basically met with a rude lady, who was rude and curt because he had Missed the call.How dare she behave like this, when he was arranging a mass for a family member.The lack of empathy and compassion has shocked me. Very disappointing.

12/08/2025: Small but also roomy if makes sense, we had a wheelchair. The staff were friendly, very helpful and informative . The food was generous portions and very tasty and felt good and fresh. We ate every crumb , pity bi room for delicious looking desserts especially the Lemon meringue, another day 😀 will visit again.

07/08/2025: Once my favourite restaurant in Athy, now after several inedible meals I have given up. The waiting staff are as lovely as ever, special shout out to Chloe and Katie, but the new chef is ruining the business. What he plates up is an insult. I have tried to speak to the owners, but they are never around. Please Tony and Michael, take charge of your kitchen, as I would hate to see this once delightful establishment close.

06/09/2025: Nice cosy cafe with a homely atmosphere. I got tea which came on a nice tray with a cute milk pot and tea pot. I also got the pancakes with berries and cream which I forgot to photograph. They were nice but very chewy and I sadly had to ration my berries and cream, I would've liked double the berries and cream.

25/08/2025: I recently stopped by this cozy café and decided to try their turkey melt, an apple, and a flat white. Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were wonderful, too. If you’re in the neighborhood, I definitely recommend checking it out. They offer a nice selection of pasta dishes, sandwiches, wraps, and plenty of tasty treats as well.

05/05/2025: Since we moved near the area, we ordered multiple times from this place. The food was really great. The shop is really clean and has a good vibe. Staff is knowledgeable and engaging in conversation. One time, they had sent us a miss pick, and they profesionnaly corrected the issue. We can tag ourselves as happy customers.

15/10/2025: DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. This was one of the worst accommodation experiences we’ve ever had. We booked expecting a relaxing, comfortable stay at a premium rural property, but what we got was an unmanaged, overpriced, and utterly neglectful. The power went out around 11am on our first day and was still off when we checked out the next morning. We were left completely stranded with no electricity, no working kitchenette, and most importantly, no communication whatsoever from the host. They knew we were staying on-site, without a vehicle, and with extremely limited reception, yet no effort was made to check in, assist, or even acknowledge the situation. We had brought our own food to cook, only to find we couldn’t use anything. We couldn’t order transport into town or even charge our phones. It’s disgraceful that a property charging these rates left guests without even the most basic amenities or care. To make things worse, we were never given a gate code to exit, forcing us to wander around looking for help just to leave. Two separate groups of guests came INTO our room seeking answers as to why the restaurant closed early, showing that we weren’t the only ones completely abandoned. And during the night, a dog, which restaurant staff confirmed belonged to the host’s family, repeatedly scratched and cried at our door until we let her in, then barked to get out again. No one was available to assist or take responsibility yet again. We attempted multiple times to reach the host via email, Booking.com messages, and Instagram. All messages went unanswered. Eventually, the host offered a refund and asked for my bank details, but after that, they completely stopped responding. We gave up after being ignored for weeks. The most appalling part came after I left an honest review on Booking.com. The host responded publicly with outright lies - claiming they reimbursed us 50% (which never happened), that “all phone lines in Ireland were down” (also false, the property had poor service as it was rural but we were able to walk around to find spots with service), and even denying the dog was theirs. I have emails directly from the host admitting they were off-site because their children were working at a music event and acknowledging their failure to communicate rather than just blaming it on external circumstances. Their public statements are simply dishonest. This property is overpriced, mismanaged, and run by someone who refuses to take accountability. The lack of care, transparency, and integrity shown was appalling. Save yourself the stress, money, and disappointment, do not book here under any circumstances.

14/10/2025: Totally recommend it ! Not too far from Dublin and the quality of the products was so genuine and absolutely delicious.

28/09/2025: Chicken was nice and juicy , the flat bread was good. The lamb kebab was just a tad bit dry but still good flavour.
