16/02/2026: Very small portions service very slow food quality good, for what you get it's very expensive serving staff very nice .

01/02/2026: Very disappointed with our experience. We ordered the Chateaubriand, which arrived overcooked and appeared under the stated weight. We were also charged for an extra sauce that we did not order. Drinks took over 15 minutes to arrive, and when the steak was served, the hot plate was placed awkwardly at one end of the table which was very hot and one of us had to move with bare hands. Overall, the service and food fell well below expectations for the price. It is particularly disappointing as this is a local restaurant for us, but unfortunately we will not be returning

23/11/2025: Delicious and authentic Middle-Eastern food. I eat from here on a regular basis, the food is always fresh and tasty. Very friendly staff, great ambience.

08/11/2025: Chicken makhani was a real letdown, but the rest of the dishes were good. The staff were friendly and attentive, though the toilets definitely need improvement.

11/01/2026: I had ordered lamb Rogan Josh , Butter chicken, Chicken biryani for take away. Lamb Rogan josh was a joke , “chef” just added boiled lamb chunks into Tomato purée , one could see tomato purée clearly floating. There seems to be no effort to cook rogan josh as tomato purée was visible. Disappointing ! Butter chicken can be used as a desert - it was so sweet !! Chicken Biryani was below average. I had ordered for the first time after seeing the outlet in Naas but the food is disappointing .

01/01/2026: Hideous good but €8 for delivery to kill is a bit steep. It’s a 7 min drive to my house that’s the only complaint

26/12/2025: Arrrrgh god this is a good place. Great great value for money. Big fillings, great kick to the blackened chicken. They aren’t afraid.. great quick efficient service like a factory line. Seating can get packed so be prepared to get a takeaway. Didn’t have to wait 35+ minutes unlike some places.. great place all round. Great value for money. Better bowls than boojum and way healthier. 19/12/2025: I had the Middle Eastern wrap it was amazing. My wife had the taco bowl and it was equally as nice. Recommended. Nice to have a place like this in Kildare.

15/02/2026: I’m only in Kildare 6 years and have tried every chipper from newbridge to portarlington. I always come back to Macari’s Kildare town (both) The staff are so nice and the food is always soooo nice. I will continue to be a loyal customer of these guys

20/12/2025: This season 2025 hot chocolate is not hot (barely warm). Otherwise is a nice place with a nice staff.

24/11/2025: It's a nice clean location to sit and have coffee with friends. Seating can be at a premium during busy times. The staff are polite and helpful.

08/02/2026: Honestly the best Asian take away restaurant in Newbridge. Their food is really the best. Service very good as well. Served hot and fast. Get their spice bag while you’re in town and you’ll thank me later 😉

18/10/2025: Highly recommended! We tried the doner and chicken kebabs, both were delicious and met our expectations. The place has a nice ambience and friendly staff too.

27/11/2025: First, the car park is a gravel sinkhole. No, lighting as you're coming out to find the car. Extremely overpriced food and drink. Coffee is served in takeaway cups. Can we please stop this trend? The staff are friendly. This was my second time going. I attended the Christmas market, and after you pay, you are left sitting outside in an unheated gazebo. The restaurant is decorated lovely, but it's not worth going out of your way for.

14/12/2025: Very attractive layout with a slightly raised and pleasant view over the The Square in Kilcock. A bit pricey for some items.

20/11/2025: I’m not satisfied with the behavior of some of the staff. They play loud music without considering the customers. Some people come to the café to enjoy a quiet moment with their coffee or to study. Customers should be respected in all circumstances.

04/08/2025: normally get pizza and the chicken and garlic cheese frys but last night 03/08/25 was a complete disgrace....never going there again and will bad mouth the place as it well deserves.box was empty and just a sprinkle of cheese....no garlic mayo and no chicken .....

05/07/2025: Lifeline after hours food stop last night after a long day setting up tents in Dublin with Stretch Tents Ireland. Banging pizza and nice staff. 🤟
