The best restaurants in Kildare

18/08/2026: While passing through Newbridge, we came across a lovely café and stopped in because we were both hungry. It didn't disappoint, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I'd definitely recommend.

07/05/2026: The food was absolutely banging the upstairs is a really nice place overall amazing place

19/07/2026: Best chinese around top quality chicken, all sauces delicious fried rice perfect, cheese rolls 2 die 4

09/05/2026: Ordered from the wrong royal palace. No idea how. But when I rang they cancelled my order they were very nice about it and refunded me. Really appreciated it so much 🙏 especially since they probably had the food ready

05/09/2026: Good food and hot but expensive for what it is.

26/08/2026: Service very slow, tea was cold, staff under pressure, but the food was lovely, really nice, music very loud

07/08/2026: Great spot,food was good,andservice

15/06/2026: Hi went to this cafe for lunch, asked for lasagne, started to eat my food, the taste was horrible, I tried it again still the same, I asked a girl at the checkout could I change it ass it wasn't nice, she said no problem, I went over to where the food was and said im going to have something else as I didn't like the lasagne, I was asked why did I not like it, I told the girl, her attitude was oh we have been serving lasagne for the past 10 years, I told her again I did not like it, that I would have bacon and cabbage instead, she walked away and never came back, very unprofessional, needs to be trained in how to deal with customers, I walked out after I got my refund, I told the girl at the till she apologised for her behaviour, I said thank you, not a good experience at all, extremely rude.

31/07/2026: Thought I'd leave a review as I have used this place for 30 years and never had a problem. I've just taken it for granted that it will always have great food. Literally three decades and I cant think of a single occasion where I got less than excellently tasty food. Thanks for always being reliable and consistent guys : )

27/09/2026: Awful old smelly food, never order again

31/08/2026: Love this place for takeaway and they are really nice humble people.

09/08/2026: Very disappointed with the way the food looks, very soggy and everything is falling off the pizza couldn’t even eat it.

05/07/2026: I used to really enjoy getting a take away every few weeks but recently I have noticed the delivery time has increased approx 1.5hr (10min drive not even just havent drove up due to having a beer or 2) food has been slow coming which i wouldn't mind if it was tasty but th3 food has been ao dry ! Chips are clearly reheated and chicken is hours old ! Sausages ain't fresh either. Partner had a burger and it was like rubber. Really disappointed. ! On the feed me app if you go in rating is high but "clodagh & Mary" have reviewed several times saying it was amazing ! But its the exact same person, but not the only 2 names noted on repeat. Really disappointed and when I rang to say about the 1.5 hr wait for food the man was extremely rude on the phone. So disappointed. Wouldn't usually write a review but I was truly surprised by this.

05/09/2026: I tried the blueberry cheesecake donut, and it was absolutely delicious! It’s filled inside and out, but not overly sweet. Such a lovely donut to enjoy at Kildare Village, and it’s made with sourdough too!

26/08/2026: Not fresh and taste wasn’t great. ‘The Dub’ and ‘The Smores’ tasted pretty much the same. Would rather a Krispy Creme or Greg’s. Not worth the €4 each or the calories

29/05/2026: got a doner kebab wrap and was half way done until i found a piece of plastic, the man who served me was very apologetic and made me a new one but he didnt even ask if i wanted a refund nevermind a new one

11/04/2026: I have eaten many burgers in my life . But I swear to god I have never had anything like this before . This is the best burger I’ve ever eaten in my entire 19 years of existence . God bless them . Do not hesitate if you want a good burger JUST TRY ONE it’s the BESTTTT

06/08/2026: Cozy restaurant to catch up with friend. The soup of the day is celeriac, sweet potatoes and coconut. It was really delicious. The burger and the steak also not bad but the seafood linguine was disappointed. It was very plain and can be improved. The waiter was friendly. Overall we had good time

18/07/2026: Staff very helpful & knowledgeable about the menu food was excellent, We will be back

20/09/2026: Brilliant 👍 lovely food what can I say lovely staff comfortable spot 😉

23/08/2026: Food took one hour to arrive ( dinning in), sushi served with fork and not proper clutery, music extremely loud, food appearance and taste both horrible. Got a bowl of curry served with no spon, so im supposed to drop the curry straight from a hot bowl on my plate. Asked fo gluten free soya sauce and have been given a tiny bit instead of the bottle. Cokes served without a glass, one napkin per person. Done. Proper waist of money

21/06/2026: Nice food and the spicy bag is good too

02/05/2026: Best spice bag around. Always happy with staff, food and price

11/08/2026: Really recommend..... so good food and everything.... Thanks

19/07/2026: Sat for 20 minutes in the bar waiting for someone to take my order . Waiter just stood at the bar chatting to the bar staff . Left my drink on the table and walked out . Only reason I left 4 stars is because the food is usually really good in the bar and cafe .

25/07/2026: Nice staff. Food is delicious, fresh and large portions. Recommend 100%

18/05/2026: Very nice and very respectful loads of food choices and very nice workers 10/10 recommend
