Place totally empty
03/10/2024: Mass was fine. But the pay and display machine, has been built so the screen is subjected to the strong sun. PLUS, someone (council worker perhaps) has wiped the inside of the screen with a dirty cloth. Just trying to get a pay and display ticket, took me 20 minutes with the aid of someone else, who then struggled with their own ticket.

04/09/2024: We had the Burger for dinner! What a dry piece of something, we got at the end. No go! Never again. Staff where ultra nice and friendly, ambience is also nice. Also you pay that much for a dry burger. No thanks. Too bad, the hotel and the golf course are very pretty.
31/08/2024: The food was amazing. We loved the decor. Very comfortable. The service was great. In our party we had people with Allergies and they couldn't have done enough to accommodate them. We will be back.

10/03/2024: Nice pub with good character. It can get crowded quite quickly but the main bar with open fire has a warm friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately it is hard to get a seat in this area but plenty of other seated areas just off this room. Nice pint of guinness served here.Would probably have got a 5 star rating for me except for the fact that it is hard to get a seat here if busy.

24/10/2024: Before I even ordered a nice woman was asking me what I’d like an a man rudely interrupted her while talking to me to say she should stay in the back. Felt awkward as a customer to witness that. I ordered a wrap with guac and only after paying I was told they had none prepared for 12:20pm. Wouldn’t have bothered me as much if I was offered something else like a drink or croissant to make even. I was just expected to pay an extra €2.75 for nothing. Bit disappointed since I always used to go here for lunch two years ago and never had an issue before.
20/10/2024: The salads are very tasty and general very prone to get stuff here, but lately they have been doing huge discounts in the portions. I mean the bowl is not even half full anymore…

14/06/2024: Excellent and wide variety of sauce and rice based meals. There are chicken, pork or beef variety of sauces to choose from, along with curry and soy sauces. Most are less than €15 with a can of soda drink. Delivery also available for a fee of €2.50 to €3 within Athy.
