28/09/2024: Had an amazing Day playing yestersay. Course is outstanding. However unfortunately I had the breakfast bap in clubhouse after round. Within an hour or 2 felt extremely unwell. Then vomiting and everything else that goes with it all last night. Just leaving this as think the owners should look into it.

10/08/2024: Played in the Sallins outing on Friday. Course in super condition. Looking forward to to playing again. Top marks.

06/10/2024: Absolutely loved this place for a spot of lunch on a Thursday afternoon. Wonderful friendly staff, not full but a good few people in for food. My friend had the pulled pork ciabatta which is said was beautiful. I went for the Roost burger but while it was tasty, there was no lettuce or onion's or tomatoes on it and I would have expected that at 14 euros for burger and chips. We had Eton mess and hot chocolate fudge cake and 2 minerals which came to 50 euros. Definitely will return again even if I have to ask for salad on my burger.

17/04/2024: Dropped in for lunch, unfortunately the table we took was beside an unnarked door which turned out to be the shared toilet. We got our food before we knew this and there were options to sit elsewhere. Staff are so so nice and foid was lovely, but the seat uugghhh.

15/04/2024: Stopped here for an evening snack and coffee but ended up having dinner as well. The location is amazing, overlooking the river. Coffee, ferrero rocher protein ball, garlic bread and baked salmon were amazing. The creamy chicken and broccoli pasta and vegetarian creamy broccoli pasta were actually dry and not creamy at all, and tasted average (reason for 4 stars instead of 5). Staff is friendly and courteous.

31/08/2024: Scam and nightmare hotel experience. Booked for 2 nights. Flight was delayed and they gave our room away. We showed up and sat around for hours because they gave the room we paid for already away to someone who wanted early check in. Essentially they doubled dipped on the room and did not reimburse or apologize. Staff was defensive and kept telling us we should have called. There was nothing in the fine print stating that if we didn’t check in at a certain time, they will proceed to charge us and give our room away to the next customer. When we express our disappointment, the young staff didn’t bother to hide their snickering. It was entertainment to them. Terrible experience and way to start vacation. Out of principle, we will dispute charges. $500 a night is a scam for our experience.

03/10/2024: Went here with family and friends and we all enjoyed everything we got. Burgers and wings were very tasty. Ice cream Sundays were huge and very enjoyable. Both servers were excellent, very friendly and efficient. This place is off the beaten track but worth a visit.

16/07/2024: This is my second time to get this catering company and again they managed to exceed my expectations. The food was delicious even down to its presentation and there was plenty of it with a great variety for everyone’s taste, including foods for children, gluten and dairy free products. This company is very professional, attentive but at the same time friendly. All our guests were very impressed and we received many compliments about the catering from them. We would highly recommend Dora Mays for any event.
