11/09/2025: Been here several times and I've always been very impressed by the quality of their produce. Sandwiches and rolls are prepared fresh and are delicious. I love their batch bread. The coffee log is really light yet full of flavour. Staff are lovely and always friendly too. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

20/08/2025: What can I say about The River Café, the food is always excellent, and Paul the owner is an absolute gentleman. He works hard alongside his friendly, hardworking team, and it really shows. The coffee is the best around, and I often stop in as I work just up the road, it’s a real gem to have on our doorstep. I love that there’s a great choice of breads, and the breakfasts are both delicious and plentiful. I usually go for a ciabatta for lunch with a mix of fillings, and it never disappoints. Great value for money and highly recommended. If you’re passing by, definitely pop in!

16/11/2025: Staff were sound the place looked lovely but!!! the burgers were like a stale block of Styrofoam! I’ve had nicer goujons out of the air fryer at home and it cost nearly 60 euro and 90 percent of the food was left behind Avoid Avoid Avoid

01/12/2025: Just had ‘fresh’ fish and small portion of chips. Very disappointed. Fish looked well cooked on outside but batter was soggy and undercooked inside. The fish was dry. The chips were far from fresh and tasted and looked like some of them had been reheated.

16/12/2025: Came here for my birthday this evening and we had a great time. The food was absolutely delicious. The red sauce with the Lasagna is quite rich and tasty. And the deserts were a perfect finish. My father’s had the strawberry gelato and they were not skimpy on the serving size, and the strawberry cheese cake was very flavorful considering that it wasn’t very heavy in texture. We’ll be back for sure!

02/12/2025: This place is a disaster and a disgrace all staff is so rude towards people and they also have sandwiches advertised and they don’t have the sandwiches then just terrible service amd terrible attitude just won’t ever be coming here again disgraceful carry on get it shorted short ur staffs attitudes out

11/12/2025: We booked for 7 pm for our family and was totally let down by the long wait and awful service. I do not blame the floor staff or the kitchen staff but the owners who are allowing walk-ins putting pressure on staff and in turn giving bad service to the customers who have booked and paid good money to eat at this establishment! I hope the owners review their policy and put quality over quantity!

05/11/2025: If anyone says that food is expensive in the middle of the day in Ireland, they have no cop on. I have tried lots of places that are excellent and Lawlors is up there at the top.
