09/04/2025: Super service and fantastic food and very affordable

07/04/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at this place was extremely disappointing. The quality of the food was unacceptable — my dish was spoiled, which is inexcusable given the prices. It feels like there's no proper quality control in the kitchen. The new owner seems to be struggling with management, and the place has lost even the basic standards of service. I believe an unannounced inspection by the appropriate authorities would be more than justified. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. This isn't even worth one star.

25/01/2025: Don't know what was going on. Sat there for 20 mins when it was quiet. No one came to serve us when we were clearly seen. Then another table came in, order taken and were served while we were still sitting there. Just left.

14/12/2024: I was looking for some bread and ended up staying for brunch, it was a great decision. Food and hot drinks were delicious and the staff were all so friendly. The outdoor seating area is very cosy. And the bread I got there is also very good! Highly recommend.

15/03/2025: From the first phone call to when we left yesterday evening I had the best experience since pre covid the staff were amazing they couldn't do enough and were very friendly the food was lovely full of flavour our party of 11 and clean plates going back to the kitchen. I actually didn't get the woman name that looked after our table but she was brilliant 👏

10/04/2025: It was good food but the waitress put me into pressure for a tip, i left 10% of my tip to the waitress but it really made me feel uncomfortable, id highly doubt it ill go back to this place again, from today !!

07/04/2025: Stopped for lunch on Sunday. We were initially seated in the car park and were completely ignored by young staff. I went into ask for service and there were four servers behind the till looking utterly confused. We managed to then get a seat inside. The view from the deck was lovely but the service remained a shambles. One patron was extremely loud and swearing like a trooper despite children at the table next to him. Once he left and the food arrived things got better. A lady who looked like she was the owner/ manger arrived on the floor and she was much more organised andin control. Food was good, service from the young staff was poor. Potential to be a good spot but I won't risk it again unfortunately 😕

06/04/2025: Very nice spot, clean, staff extremely friendly, beautiful view of the river, Had the breakfast and it was beautiful.

17/03/2025: After eating deep fried Mars bar my diabetes gets atherosclerosis. My favourite take away fast food in Naas area.

18/02/2025: The smoked cod and garlic chips was the best I’ve had from a chipper around kildare

10/02/2025: Fine traditional pub with a loyal local clientèle. The Guinness is poured carefully and the pub serves the best pints in the area. Friendly place.

08/02/2025: El camarero principal parecía encantador y amable. Barmaid parecía un poco hostil al pedir unos cuantos Baby Guinness al final de la noche antes de hacer nuestro camino. Baby Guinness € 6. 50 cada uno parece una locura hoy en día 😔

08/04/2025: My husband brought me here in June 2024 for my 40th birthday. He chose it because we went here after our wedding. He decided to spring for the penthouse suite for 500 euro. Which as penthouse suites go is probably very good value for a night, except that the room essentially in a state of disrepair. When we got to the room there were chocolates and little bottle of champagne with note from the manager that they wished me a happy birthday. (Which was a nice touch) We tried to get room service (it was a penthouse and cost 500 euro so we weren't going to spend the afternoon down in the bar!) But we ended up having to go down to the bar and order it and then have it sent up for some reason. Our dinner and the staff in the restaurant was amazing. Our experience in the restaurant is the only reason I've given 2 stars for service. Overnight I had to alert them to someone drunk in the middle of the night trying to break down the door of the next room. And I never got a thank you for flagging it or an apology for the disturbance. At checkout we were never asked how our stay was. Very confident that was the last time we'll stay there but not the last Time I talk about this experience.
