The best restaurants in Kildare

19/08/2025: Had a perfect dinner tonight, arrived piping hot and was super delicious despite been out of town. Hassan the driver was great and he and rang me in advance before his arrival. He then arrived in a great manner and was very respectful. Would definitely reorder when in Naas again thanks Hassan!

13/08/2025: I was meant to leave a review a while back but I kept forgetting. I have ordered a couple of times now from Four Star Pizza and I got nothing but praise for them. The pizza is absolutely delicious. Once, they got my order wrong but they quickly got it sorted out. As I said earlier, nothing but praise for them. Highly recommend.

20/06/2025: Coffee is good but music is way too loud upstairs. Asked the staff to turn it down and they said they wouldn't. People don't come here for music, they come for coffee, chats and food. I assume it's just the staff who want the music up loud. If this changes I'll come back, and change my review. What a pity!

29/07/2025: Popped in today for coffee as part of a local fundraiser!! Bumped into some old friends and plenty of time for chat in an easy going atmosphere. Had a very tasty 99 (ice cream cone) to finish off the visit. Very reasonable and delicious

26/07/2025: Had the Farmhouse breakfast, it was delicious. The brown bread is homemade and tastes out if this world. They use free range eggs - so another plus. Very friendly staff and good service. Highly recommend.

11/08/2025: This is our first time dining here. I came with my family and I was very much impressed with the level of hospitality they showcased right from the doorstep. I had my 14 month old child in his child seat and I was having trouble managing the seat and opening the door but our server LINA helped me to get in the restaurant. She was very patient, giving us enough time to settle down. She took our order giving very confident suggestions that made us to trust her especially with our 8 year old who is a picky eater but she somehow convinced him much to my surprise. We told her that we were doing furniture shopping and she gave truthful suggestions that really impacted our choice of furniture to buy for which we are very grateful to her. Our food was served by CAN(pronounced as Jon). He was a gentleman asking in between if we needed. During that time my 14 month old spilled my drink on the table and CAN helped me to clean the mess. When we were leaving, we came to know that LINA & CAN were mother and son. We would definitely come back again.

25/05/2025: If you're in the mood for delicious Indian food, check out this lovely buffet! They serve traditional dishes that are simply mouthwatering. The freshly made Appan and Parata are a must-try. The seating is comfortable, and the whole vibe is just delightful. They even treat you to some homemade Payasam as a complimentary dessert. I highly recommend this place for a great dining experience!

30/05/2025: Really nice little cafe. Food fresh, homemade and plenty of it. Breakfast sandwich was really good. Nice bread and good quality ingredients. Service excellent and very friendly. Don’t be afraid to ask for changes to an item. Good selection of cakes if you are only dropping in for a tea or coffee. And if you want soup the brown bread is top notch. Bit small inside and it’s popular but well worth checking if they have space if you are in the area.

28/06/2025: Always loved breakfast here, arrived with confidence from previous experiences but our recent visit fell short, coffee was below par, burnt taste, poached eggs hard, and no condiments on tables, had to ask for salt twice.....granddaughter's raspberry lemonade was billed as a Raspberry Bellini.....not good , very disappointed and should be a lot better for the price charged

07/06/2025: We were very disappointed with the service we received today. Our family and my son's friends were excited to come and celebrate his best friend's birthday. We wanted the kids to have a fun and memorable day. We genuinely didn’t know the restaurant only opens at 5pm so we got there at 4:30pm, especially since we saw people already seated inside. It was very cold outside, and my son couldn’t stand the chill. If the issue was that we didn’t have a reservation, the staff could have simply explained it to us politely. Instead, we were told, “We open at 5 PM, don’t just come in and start moving the furniture,” which felt quite rude. The children were upset and ended up crying—this should have been a joyful celebration for them. We braved the rain and cold weather just to be there, only to leave with such disappointment. This was supposed to be a special day, but it turned out to be a really unpleasant experience.

10/08/2025: Refused entry with a learners permit, a form of government ID! The most rude and ignorant people working on the door. Absolutely awful!
