The best restaurants in Kildare

02/11/2025: Beautiful breakfast place! We went at 10am on Sunday and ordered their full breakfast (€14)and the bacon and maple pancakes (€12.50). Food was absolutely delicious, the girl serving us was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend.

01/11/2025: Food was ok , on entering the fronth glass door was a mess grubby , this place needs a make over , a few big plants and roman blinds to bring down the noise level. Really need to pay attention to tables being properly wiped down and make sure they are steady. Was not what I was expecting Did' nt match with the name , Willow and green. Gave me diner vibes . Staff are lovely friendly, doing their best maybe some need more training. Wont be back 😕

12/10/2025: Lovely hotel the staff are very nice and cannot do enough for you. Small issue checking in (not the hotels problem ) but the manager came and sorted it rapidly. It is very well run and the manager is always around the bar ,restaurant and even the late bar. We had dinner in The front bar and it was beautiful also breakfast the next morning was great and plentiful . Will definitely be back again for a longer stay.

12/10/2025: Hotel is not modern nor is it 4*. I would leave 0 stars if possible. The adjoining bar has a “late license” so music is playing until 2am which you can clearly hear in the rooms, with staff not caring in the slightest. Rooms are not sound-proofed in any way and noise from adjoining rooms can also be heard. Stay elsewhere.

19/06/2025: Have ordered scones from here a few times now and previously was delighted with everything. Most recent order (and the first one made in awhile) was not great, the scones are now packed in plastic which meant they were a little “squidgy” and damp maybe they were packed while still slightly warm. They had also been shaken a lot in transport so 2 of six were completely broken. They tasted nice but I think I’ll stick to visiting the store where possible

05/09/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (for the chicken burger) The chicken burger was absolutely delicious and the highlight of my visit-juicy, flavorful, and well worth it. I also tried the cheese & garlic fries along with the fried chicken, but those fell short as they were quite greasy and had a hint of old cooking oil. That said, the menu has some great value options, and the pricing on certain dishes is a real steal. The staff were friendly and kind, and it was convenient that they accepted Revolut payment when I didn’t have cash on hand.

03/12/2025: Great location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The food in the restaurant was very good and the bar was fun. The little extras such as the coffee stand made it stand out.

25/11/2025: Overall we had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. It’s in a great location, clean rooms with nice toiletries and not much to complain about. However, I would say there is some slightly false advertising which I will address below: Pros: - fantastic location in the heart of Dublin - despite being central the hotel was quiet and we didn’t hear hardly any street noise - clean and tidy, well stocked and lovely toiletries - room tidied daily - good food menu - air con (although it’s manned - see reviews) - nice bar area and good bar staff - stylish lobby area with coffee shop - cozy king bed - had a good sleep - perfect for a short stay - safe luggage storage room Cons: - rooms quite compact (good for short stay but perhaps nothing over 3 days due to lack of luggage space) - advertised as having Netflix but did not - lobby area advertises pizza until 12am but went down at 10pm and told kitchens were shut - no room service - speakers didn’t work - told we were not allowed to eat in lobby and then saw someone an hour later eating a pizza ordered from Bambino’s (same lady who told us we couldn’t eat ours roaming lobby at same time) - no lock on bathroom door Overall, I would recommend the hotel for a short stay in Dublin and would return.
