Lots of atmosphere & congenial company
06/04/2026: About 2/3 weeks ago me and a friend of mine were refused entry at the door by a brand new bouncer I’ve never seen before .We go to mcCormacks every other week tip the amazing bar staff always and are good friends with all the regular bouncers so came as such a shock being refused entry for absolutely 0 reasoning when questioned why his response was ‘I don’t need a reason I make the rules just not tonight’ Just such a shame that a bouncers mood can affect someone else’s whole night out my friend and I had to go elsewhere while the rest of our groups night was also disrupted as they also left Mcormacks to be with us , terribly disappointed in the bouncer selection Mcormacks went with. He was about 5”8 Irish brown hair terrible attitude.

29/07/2025: This was one of the nicest places we visited lately, a little, tranquil paradise, managed and run by absolutely lovely people. One normally goes there to buy a tree. We talked to and were helped by Anthony, who was very knowledgeable and gave us great advice. We stopped at the Café there for a coffee and a bite to eat and were greeted by Rambo, the duck, who, all by himself, decided to leave the lake and become a bouncer. All day, he spends at the entrance to the coffee shop and inspects every person walking through the door. We are back at home now with a strawberry tree. It is just about to be planted.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this centre; a lovely outing with lovely people, beautiful plants, a coffee shop, and a bouncer duck. And we will back for more.

13/09/2025: My second time coming here for afternoon and yet again a lovely experience. The ladies at the tea room are very friendly🥰 Delcious cakes and loved the pear almond scone in particular. Great value on groupon, looking forward to being back again!
15/08/2025: This is a lovely little tea room recommended by 2 other people i had talked to, with its little cups and saucers but the food was lovely. We had afternoon tea as part of my friends 50th. We loved it. We got an extra pot of tea and sat in the outside dining space. The staff are lovely and its really good value for money.

26/05/2026: I go here a fair bit on my breaks. They’ve make amazing coffee and really consistent. It’s nice each day to have a good coffee. Especially recently seems to be constantly getting better each time I go in. Appreciate it!
11/05/2026: Great coffee, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Need to amend the advertised opening hours though, advertise as 7:30am but they don't seem to open until approx 7:45am.

All the food was excellent and very tastey fair play to who ever sources the food.
The tea came in a large pot that did not leak.
The apple juice was excellent and tasted of fresh apples.
Good space between the tables.
Comfortable seats.
Polite and friendly staff.
Nothing to fault on our first visit here.

The burgers were very good. I had the house burger (if I remember the name correctly), my son had a cheeseburger, and my daughter had a kids’ burger with fries — everyone enjoyed their meal.
Unfortunately, I have to comment on the cleanliness. There were not many customers, and the counter where the food was prepared clearly needed cleaning, especially since I was the only customer ordering at that time. The same applies to the restrooms — in my opinion, it wouldn’t take much effort to keep them clean and tidy, but in this case, they were in poor condition.
The outdoor tables were nice and clean, however we ate inside, in a room with a stand holding tires and motorcycle luggage. This area definitely needs proper cleaning and better organisation.
Overall: great burgers, decent atmosphere, but cleanliness inside the premises needs improvement.
Let’s just say — if we didn’t get sick, the burgers must have been really good 😄🍔

14/05/2026: The restaurant is lively and beautifully set up. I recently got a take out and the food was bland. I got the chilli and basil Chicken (instead of beef as what's on the menu) and it was terrible. The chicken was overcooked and the rest was just bland! €16 for a small portion of tasteless food. Will not be going back.
