27/06/2026: Food is always good and quick. Staff are lovely and coffee is definitely worth it. Pop in if near by you won't be disappointed

20/05/2026: Best cafe in Kildare Town. Anna is great and one of the friendliest faces in Kildare Town, she'll never greet you without a smile and the same goes for everyone else working there. Colm, Nick, Caitlin and Kate are some of the best people you'll meet. The coffee is great, not one food item is substandard and it's always so quiet even at full capacity.

26/06/2026: Rough first night with no AC in the summer but the manager did a great job of making it up to us and getting us into another room.ñ the next day. Over all, pleasant stay and good location to station out of while visiting the country.

03/06/2026: My wife and I had the pleasure of hosting 150 people for our daughter's wedding earlier this May. Everything was perfect, even the weather. We had The ceremony outdoors on the lawn, drinks in the manor house and courtyard, and then the reception in a marquee on the back lawn. It was absolutely exquisite. The only thing better than the venue were the people who worked at the Carton House. The wedding could not have been more perfect and we thank everyone for all their hard work. David

20/06/2026: 1..really bad experience for family event months saving for family of 14 2.Horrible horrible angry bearded young man who said he was the owner 3.Service nearly non existent spent most of evening trotting around after staff to try and get drinks. Food .plates. settings .gave up and didn't bother trying to even get menus for dessert 4.didnt get my booking deposit of 50 euro taken off final bill DONT GO IF YOU ARE PLANNING NB FAMILY EVENT VERY VERY DISSAPOINTED...SHAME

21/05/2026: Went in with my Fiancée and baby as a quick pint stop at the end of a very busy morning running errands in newbridge and I must say the Gentleman behind the bar couldn’t have possibly been nicer to us, it was only early noon so it was only regulars there and we were so pleasantly surprised to be treated just like them with open arms (our first time here) On our way out we saw the man helping an elderly woman get her mobility scooter out of the Pub which was so heartwarming to see too as I can assure you where we live all they care about is money, this man cares about his customers :)! It’s so lovely to see one pub still keeping like a traditional old Irish Pub, If anybody is going to Newbridge and wants to have a quiet drink with excellent service I would 1Million percent recommend these guys :)

10/05/2026: A very nice local pub with good Guinness, friendly and helpful staff and chatty locals. There is also live music over the weekends, till around midnight, around then the bar closes the doors to new customers but you can still sit in and finish your pint.

04/05/2026: Good local bar with sport on television, live music on the weekends. If you want to stay rooms are comfortable and spacious but not for early sleepers. No food just snacks like crisps and nuts :(

13/05/2026: Food is beautiful here. Tapas are great portions , Prawns an Bree are gorgeous. Atmosphere is nice im surprised this place isn't busier. Guinness is lovely also. Staff are all very friendly . Food comes out abit slow but they use authentic and good quality produce .

03/08/2026: Sprout Kildare has really lost its customer‑first approach. On my last visit I was told to make my own bowl, and on this visit, the place was empty, I was the only customer at the counter. Given an inquisition over ordering a wrap without meat. Apparently removing items I don’t want is now “breaking a rule.” The inconsistency is unbelievable. Different staff seem to make up different rules depending on the day, and it creates a genuinely uncomfortable experience. Sprout used to be flexible and easy; now it feels rigid and dismissive. It’s disappointing to see a business forget the customers who supported it from the start. Sprout built its brand on choice, freshness, and ease. So when they suddenly treat your preferences like a problem, it feels like they’re contradicting their own identity. You’re not asking for anything unusual — you’re asking for less than the standard wrap. That should be the simplest request of all.

17/07/2026: The cafe at Teeling is my daily ritual with our cockapoo Charley. I can't say enough about the incredible staff and outstanding coffee. I've never had a daily coffee (& dog treat routine) that now feels like a community. Whoever is doing employee recruitment finds just fantastic people! Dogs are not only welcome here but will feel lots and lots of love.

01/07/2026: They dropped half my food on the floor and offered to replace it with different food I could not eat, not a refund. I paid for a full sandwich and only got half. Also kitchen is very cross contaminated, my veggie sandwich was cut on a tray where I could see meat from other sandwiches still on it. Friend's drink had to be remade twice due to allergens. Food is fine, but would recommend steering clear if you have allergens or are vegetarian.

12/07/2026: Tasty and authentic Italian cuisine. Pizza was soft and perfectly cooked, pasta was great. Portions were so much that no place was left to try desserts. Highly recommended
