26/01/2025: Beautiful garden centre, but unfortunately poorly managed and run business, place has real potential, but lacks good customer service. The owner is a very shady individual and it is known amongst the horticulturists/businesses in Ireland. But on a positive note there's a great garden centre with amazing/knowledgeable and helpful staff at "Monahan's Fuel and Garden Centre".

22/01/2025: Love this restaurant 😄. Huge choice of offerings on the menu. All meals I have eaten were delicious with generous servings. Very friendly and helpful staff. Darchini's byo policy is very flexible and pocket-friendly. Highly recommend 😀

02/03/2025: Good spot for brunch although you may miss it as it is set within the grounds of the local petrol station, this doesn't take away from the delicious food and friendly staff, the only downside is they do not take reservations so you may be left standing at the door waiting for a table to become free which may be even worse for the customers sitting at tables that you can't help but stare at while you wait ;) The Gluten free bread is basic.

16/03/2025: We live locally and we come to Sherwood Lane occasionally for brunch. Today was the first day we had a babysitter for our 4-month old child and we used this time to come for brunch. Unfortunately the babysitting didn't work out and we had to leave after our coffee, before we even ordered food. The lovely gentleman gave us the coffees on the house given what happened. Such a lovely gesture. No idea if he's an owner, manager or staff. But thank you for the gesture. We'll be back for brunch soon.

08/03/2025: The restaurant looks and feels lovely when you walk in. The staff are attentive and nice too. Our requests were perfectly met. The food however felt rushed and lacked the kind of flavour that would have you rushing back again. My Calamari (very nice) was served on top of raw onion chunks and rocket with little to no dressing on it. Yes, the calamari was nice but why bother with the rest of it? My Chili beef was also nice but there was way too much of it. The dish lacked any sort of nuance. You’d expect cooks and chefs to understand portioning. But have way through I knew I was going to leave a large amount behind and want sure if desert would be possible. None of this means it was a bad experience. We had a nice time and we ate well. The restaurant kitchen just lacks a little polish that would get you the top marks.

26/02/2025: Typical thai food. Green curry was good, it will be great if more vegetables. chicken satay was below average as I dont taste anything in chicken, it was deep fried and cover with peanut sauce. Overall isnt that bad to take out from 5 stars

08/03/2025: The culinary experience here was outstanding, a definite five-star performance from the chefs. The food was delightful and perfectly prepared, and the Italian Pinot Grigio was superb. While the food and wine were impeccable, a more welcoming and engaging approach from the service staff would truly make this a magical dining experience.

18/03/2025: Very nice hidden coffee gem of Newbridge. Coffee was very nice and protein balls were perfect match.

01/03/2025: Flat white is delicious. Protein balls - Malteser and Peanut were great. When the sun is shining, the atmosphere sitting outside is lovely. Nice seating inside as well.

19/02/2025: Very modern and the best of all SuperValu I've been in. Best deli on the planet by far and also cheapest deli aswell (Large Chicken Fillet Roll €4). Fair play the best SuperValu I know and also the best of staff and the deli. You can't get any better than that. More than 5 stars needed for Pettitt's SuperValu Athy.
