28/01/2026: Went again > DELICIOUS < got pepperoni pizza pepperoni’s were very flavourful and juicy the crust goes good with leftover cheese and THE CALAMARI best calamari sauce ever and the parpadelle rustico love the cream and sausages and chicken wings are nice and spicy 10/10 so far and garlic bread is sooo delicious and the gelato i love it 5⭐️ everything

24/01/2026: We ordered at 6:40 and we're given an estimated delivery time of 7:15 only to have not received the food til 8.10 after 2 phone calls chasing it. We were told that if the food arrived cold, they would give us credit on our account for our next order, we said not to bother. When the food eventually arrived, it was bland and the garlic bread just tasted like bread and butter, and it was stone cold. We paid 50€ not including delivery for 2 sad pizzas and flavourless garlic bread.

18/01/2026: Fureys Bar is a traditional Irish pub and restaurant. My "go-to" stop for a great burger and pint when on the road. Friendly staff, picturesque canal setting, and congenial vibe. Plenty of parking. Open generally from around midday to early evening. Family friendly. Take a walk along the canal if you have time.

04/01/2026: Booked Sunday Lunch today for three people. While plenty of staff front of house, there did not seem to be any organisation. No dedicated waiter. It took over 45 mins for mains to arrive, and we had to go chase staff for desert course as my mother was by then getting agitated. Whilst one member of staff, (a manager?) agreed to waive the cost of deserts, when I went to pay the bill, I was then quizzed again by a young chap in a suit, (another manager? ) why the food had been discounted. No communication between staff. And yes it was a very cold January day so i can excuse to a degree the coolness of the room, but Mum had to keep her coat on throughout which is not what you come out for. Overall having heard great things locally about Fallons this was a hugely disappointing experience, and sadly the below average food did nothing to save the experience

13/01/2026: I ordered home delivery from Bombay Bistro, and the food was absolutely amazing! The service was punctual, and the flavors were authentically Indian. As someone who is from India and has tried many Indian restaurants, I can confidently say that Bombay Bistro stands out. Highly recommended!

27/12/2025: I have been here two times now, and I must say I am truly not impressed. I very rarely come on to give bad reviews, but I feel like this place is a complete cop out and NOT WORTH the hype. The first time I came the food was amazing but the service was extremely slow, it took 15 minutes to get a basket of bread and about 30 minutes to get the bill. This overall was fine, but I could tell something was not fully right for the price paid. Today we went for brunch, and it was a disaster from start to finish. We ordered three dishes, one was fine but the other two both had poached eggs that were completely hard inside, essential hard boiled eggs. Also both dishes were served ice cold. We asked if they could be returned, and asked the waiter is this how it’s meant to be served and he said absolutely not. The dishes went back, and ten minutes later they came back out looking completely different somehow and with different ingredients, but the eggs came out THE EXACT SAME. Even the waiter looked at the eggs and was embarrassed but I said I don’t want to send it back as I was just done with the whole thing at that stage. We ordered pancakes which we asked to follow our main dishes, which came 20 minutes after we finished these dishes. The bill then came and there was a Bloody Mary on it that we didn’t ask for, and they only gave us 40% on both the egg dishes which were clearly not cooked right. Personally, I believe that if a dish is sent back over something as simple as poached eggs being overcooked, it should be absolutely ESSENTIAL that the eggs are cooked close to perfect the second time. In my opinion, there is a clear lack of care and consideration in the kitchen. I will not be coming back, as I really feel like the price this restaurant charges does not reflect the service or passion shown from the kitchen. Note (the first photo was the first dish, and second is the second dish which l has different ingredients but still hard eggs)

04/01/2026: In Carton House beauty is everywhere. The golden room, the drawing room, the Morrison room, the carriage house etc. are enchanting. The food served was excellent even for me that I’ m gluten free. We had a dinner and a lunch at the Carriage House and a dinner in Kathleen kitchen, both places have also great service. In particular I would like to thank Kostantina for the smooth checking and Brian for the informative and engaging historic tour of the house.

03/01/2026: It's absolutely stunning place and staff are friendly. Very well kept and high standards. The only issue we had even at booking stage and whilst our stay, is the knowledge of staff. It was very difficult to get information about our Xmas stay and what is happening at the hotel. The staff are approachable and friendly but communication is poor.

13/09/2025: My second time coming here for afternoon and yet again a lovely experience. The ladies at the tea room are very friendly🥰 Delcious cakes and loved the pear almond scone in particular. Great value on groupon, looking forward to being back again!

15/08/2025: This is a lovely little tea room recommended by 2 other people i had talked to, with its little cups and saucers but the food was lovely. We had afternoon tea as part of my friends 50th. We loved it. We got an extra pot of tea and sat in the outside dining space. The staff are lovely and its really good value for money.
