03/08/2026: This place is brilliant!!! My son plays for hours, is always devastated when we leave and asks to come here everyday! They are always cleaning the toys when I’m there and the food is great! It’s gated so the kids can’t escape! Amazing resource for parents who need a little rest and a distraction for the kids.

01/08/2026: Great places to bring small children. Lots of space, an amazing variety of toys to play with. The coffee is great and plenty of seating. Also the carpark is big so getting parked is no problem.

21/06/2026: Not only is one of the most cosy and beautiful book stores we've been to, but their staff makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. No matter how much chaos we bring in with all our questions and going back and forth with new stuff to buy as we keep discovering things the more we explore the store, they always smile and make us feel at home. Their selection is just lovely: from the range of books, to the stationery, to their warhammer section. They've helped us grow our collection of miniatures and books, and find a couple of new favourites on the way! Also, their coffee is really good!

30/07/2026: Great atmosphere and lovely food. Had a branzino and it was absolutely delicious 👍 Staff was incredible and the coctails were lovely, can't way to eat here again.

26/07/2026: Kids menu was okay, reasonable price for kids with decent portions. Adults menu was downright highway robbery. €25 for a pasta dish with a scattering of chicken is indefensible. Dessert was fine but again €15 for what was mostly whipped cream and banana is madness. Won't be going back because it is just too expensive for the bland food you get. We have gone here a few times but the pricing is just bonkers.

26/06/2025: Popped into JB Mahoney recently and honestly, what a find. It’s got that rare mix of proper character and a genuinely warm atmosphere that makes you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first visit. The Guinness? Spot on, creamy, smooth, poured with care. You can tell they take pride in it, which is more than you can say for a lot of places. And if you haven’t tried the Algerian, you’re missing out – bold, rich, and absolutely delicious. A proper pint to remember. The bar staff are brilliant, friendly, funny, and somehow manage to keep everything running smoothly even when it's packed. Even, the teachers chap I was speaking to inside. JB Mahoney’s strikes that perfect balance: welcoming, down-to-earth, but with real quality behind the bar. Whether you're in for a quiet one or a few rounds with mates, this place just gets it right.
