20/09/2025: Arrived late and we were looked after very well by reception staff. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Impressive reception area. Overall hotel left a very good impression particularly in relation to staff and management.

20/08/2025: My family and I stayed here for one night for my sister’s wedding. The wedding was beautiful and the food was delicious. The room we stayed in was huge and had 3 beds for my family of 6. I was especially happy with the service and kindness of the general manager, Owen, who helped us when we checked out. My husband’s wedding ring fell into a sewer in the parking lot (thanks to my son lol) and the manager came to not only give us tools, but he stuck his entire bare arm down that sewer and got the ring back. We offered him a tip because that’s what we do where we live but he kindly refused it and put it back into my baby’s stroller. Very kind man!

21/03/2026: We’re just passing by, and decided to stop for a food, was the best choice we’ve made! The food is delicious, many options for Vegetarian/Vegan, highly recommend!

18/03/2026: Celebrated my 47th birthday at The Monread and had a lovely time. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the food was great with generous portions and delicious desserts. A special thanks to Sandra who brought out my birthday dessert and even sang Happy Birthday, which made the celebration extra special. Daniel was also very friendly when he brought the bill. Would definitely come back. 🎂

13/01/2026: I ordered home delivery from Bombay Bistro, and the food was absolutely amazing! The service was punctual, and the flavors were authentically Indian. As someone who is from India and has tried many Indian restaurants, I can confidently say that Bombay Bistro stands out. Highly recommended!

29/12/2025: My absolute favorite cafe in Clane. I've been regular for the past year now and they've never disappointed. Their hash is second to none and sometimes I'm nearly disappointed ordering hash from anywhere else and I've tried many many cafe/brunch places. It's a bit dearer than most places but I believe it reflects the quality you get in the food. Yes, the place can get quite loud and it's very busy in the mornings but I don't think it ever gets so loud that I can't have a conversation. Staff are always lovely and you get a seat pretty much in no time even when it's busy. Would highly recommend it to anyone

20/12/2025: Good food with complex flavor combinations but it is pricey. The interior is decorated in a trendy chic way . VERY CUTE! It does get LOUD when the ship is full- a rug and something to partition the areas acoustics (wall hangings, plants, etc) would make this a much better experience! Some seating is up a little staircase and the seating on the ground floor is tightly packed (wouldn’t recommend this place for wheelchair / strollers / anything that could get hung up on corners). Bathroom is accessible but is located at the back of the building down a little corridor. Services was prompt, and the staff make sure you feel at home. The goat cheese salad was delicious and so were the pancakes but “American Style Pancakes” (as an American 🇺🇸) should be BIG like BIG BIG. Also it would be amazing to be able to add an egg to a burger or as a side dish throughout the day!

04/10/2025: Dora has catered for us on several occasions over the last few years, my sisters wedding breakfast, my daughters birthday, my sisters baby shower and the biggest one was my daughters communion party. I can’t begin to say how wonderful the standard of food and service was, let alone how cost friendly the catering was compared to other services. If you have any type of event coming up I couldn’t endorse Dora’s catering more!! We have just booked again for another party we have coming up and know I can rely on her and the team for their seamless operation and delivery of amazing food x

02/10/2025: Dora May catered for a recent lunch we hosted. We selected catering for 20 with 2 mains and 5 sides, and also platters of sandwiches and desserts. Dora took all the stress out of the day, turning up punctually and supplying cutlery, napkins and plates which i was not expecting. All the food was delicious and everyone complimented it. I will happily recommend DoraMsys and will definitely use her again.

28/10/2025: A regular trip for evenings out as a couple is great here. Or a trip as a family to try some thai food. I usually get the thai green curry which is rich and creamy and delicious. I typically get the highest spice rating and this is afaik the spiciest place in Newbridge, if you have a higher spice tolerance for an Irish person it's lovely, otherwise temper your expectations. Staff is always wonderful and typically you can walk in to plenty of tables.
