The best restaurants in Kildare

07/12/2025: We went for the first time today to bring our 6 month old to the santa experience. The price point was amazing. We were so so impressed, the staff are the friendliest we have ever came across they blew us away. Brilliant butchers and coffee shop, we didn’t get a meal but it looked amazing. Will 100% be back during the year for more activities and again next year for Santa.

15/12/2025: The best place for food and service hands down! Had our sons Christening here at the weekend and it was a large group of 25. Everyone loved their food. It was served promptly and was delicious as always. Service was excellent as always too. Highly recommend. Such a lovely atmosphere too

27/07/2025: Popped in for coffee and a scone. Both were delicious but the coffee wasn’t as good as the scone. They were also serving ice-cream cones which I was able to get and was v good.. Overall, this is a lovely place/ plenty of choice and reasonable prices/ what more could you ask for?!? Toilets were good though the disabled ones could have been cleaner

25/11/2025: One of the best places I've ever had lunch at!

09/11/2025: Extremely rude staff and very poor service. I came in with my two young kids and we were left waiting over 40 minutes for our food, while people who came in after us were served before us. Our food only arrived after I asked where it was, and there was no apology or explanation. The staff were rude taking our order and had no manners throughout. The food itself was decent, but the attitude and service completely ruined the experience. I won’t be coming back.

16/10/2025: I had come here a handful of times but each time is always lovely, the service is excellent with kind and attentive staff, the atmosphere is very relaxed and vibrant with great music but the food served is absolutely amazing from presentation to taste, easily the best food served in all of Kildare as a whole. I love to come here as a treat for myself every so often as a day out, the drinks here are dangerously smooth, easily the best pornstar cocktail I ever had is server here. For my meal and my martini all came to less than €25 which for the amazing service and sizable portions of food that is well worth the price, it is absolutely amazing. I would definitely highly recommend visiting this hidden Gem

01/12/2025: I ate the 38 day aged steak sandwich, medium rare. Absolutely wonderful - though I'd preferred skinny fries but that's me being picky. rye river coastal IPA was on point and a brilliant accompinant to the meal

22/11/2025: Well all I can say is that the village inn celbridge is one of the best pubs and restaurant i have been in and today really topped it all , I have been in the village inn on a number of occasions for food and at night for the pints and always highly recommended it , 2 week ago I rang the manager in there and explained that I was looking for a booking for about 20 people for today Saturday for a family 80th birthday lunch time food and small celebration well the manager took on board what we wanted and went all out and you always know when u have good management the staff work well as for today they gave us a small area up the back and the staff were just the best looking after our needs all day been there on top of think but one girl really stood out (never got her name but the management will know and hopefully name her ) but she looked after everyone food drinks anything we needed lovely person well thats it guys thanks for a great day and we will be back very again oh ye they do lovely guinness 😀

02/12/2025: Fantastic toasties and nice coffee. Located in a nice housing estate. Parking can be hit and miss depending on time of the day.

14/09/2025: I'm not surprised the majority of the reviews are 5 stars which is well worthy for this beautiful restaurant. I had the seafood linguine which was delicious and so flavoursome. So simple yet so delicious. My family really enjoyed their dishes. If I was to critique one thing, it's small and quite noisy which if your sensitive in hearing can be hard. But it was a Saturday night and late booking. Next time I'd visit earlier. I knew the food would be tip class as I also ate in your canvas cafe in kill which was supberb

06/11/2025: I had lunch here today. The food was very tasty and it was very reasonably priced for a good quality lunch. I had a Cajun chicken ciabatta, chips and a coffee for €15.

02/11/2025: Gorgeous Cafe with super friendly staff. The buffalo chicken burger and the bacon hash are unreal!! 🤤 one of my fave places to go, and it’s great you can get a takeaway also!

14/11/2025: The place is lovely, I like how they have seasonal decorations, it really brightens up the village. The coffee and pastry’s are lovely and the staff are very welcoming and lovely to chat with. I like getting my coffee, they have a lot of range and you can ask for more. Glad they are getting to celebrate their 6th year opening here’s hoping for another successful six years.

21/09/2025: Fantastic place with great service. Very busy place , that shows its popularity. Kid friendly place. For the money the portion of food is also more than adequate. Really enjoyed. People queuing to get a seat, but we got it in 5 minutes.

09/09/2025: Sásta in Maynooth has incredibly delicious food. It's especially good for vegetarians and vegans. The vegan breakfast is gorgeous. I would do anything for that turmeric hummus! Everything here is prepared from scratch. You can taste the difference. Give it a go!
