11/05/2025: We had a meal here recently it was very disappointing the fish and chicken were overcooked the wedges were re heated. The staff were very nice its a lovely restaurant. Just a pity about the food.

10/05/2025: Our first time to eat here and it won't be the last!My husband, daughter and myself had dinner here last night. We were attending Michael Hardings show in the Riverbank so had booked a table prior to the show. The warm welcome, the friendly staff,the fast service were all great.The food was exceptional,really tasty,hot and beautifully presented. We will be back!

Quick service on food and drinks on request for 12 of us she was brilliant. Top quality service and even took our group photos for us and sorted timing for the 40th birthday cake to come out

Unfortunately let down by consistently slow / poor service... we popped in today for lunch but left after being ignored by staff (during a particularly quiet period) and being unable to place order for sit-in coffee / food.
26/02/2025: We came here for lunch, it was AMAZING. Lovely and tasty soup. The staff is very nice, Eva looked after us so well. Highly recommended

15/02/2025: First visit to this lovely little coffee stall and we’ll definitely be back- delicious coffee and hot chocolate and such great service! They were closing up so gave us some free pastries which was such an unexpected and delightful gesture.

02/05/2025: I could not recommend Cooke's enough. The food was excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful, it made the meal all the nicer. The manager Frank went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after, and we could see he was doing the same for every single table. The art of "service with a smile" has unfortunately died in a lot of establishments right now, but it certainly has not in Cookes.

04/05/2025: Sister pub of the Hartes Group, so food will be nice. Service was friendly and faster than in their other locations. It’s unfortunate that such a busy place doesn’t have the same vibe throughout. Front is tastefully decorated but the back bar feels very dated.
Tables in the beer garden very dusty.
Prices similar to the Dew Drop in Kill, however the cheese board was less generous especially when they charged €17.
01/05/2025: If you have not been to The Ballymore Inn then put it on your to do list for 2018, pure class.
