11/03/2026: Got to come here after work, heard they have the best chicken wings 🍗, and wow they were great. A very traditional Irish Pub 🍻, serving cold beers and hot wings. 09/03/2026: Our waitress wasn't good. She never came back to ask us if we wanted refills, I had to ask the gentleman who came to grab our dishes. I also had to ask her 2 times for blue cheese for my chicken wings (which were delicious). We loved the atmosphere regardless of our waitress we will be back. It's a beautiful spot. They pour an amazing pint of Guinness.

30/11/2025: Place is quite old, the smell is not very good. Food not bad but still poor had a scrambled egg with salmon, very dry and not the best.

05/01/2026: Could be so much more...... Location is great, and the cafe itself is nice inside. On the negatives, their coffee is middle of the road relative to the other independents in Naas, but is the most expensive and the only one without a loyalty system. Routinely, you've to interrupt the staff having loud conversations to order - examples being how much they're looking forward to "getting f..... up tonight" & how their colleague earns a higher hourly rate despite being a "lazy C...". To their credit, the burritos are very nice, but you've to wait for an arbitrary time to order. Arrived in last week to order one, was literally the only person in the shop aside from two staff, ironically leaning against the burrito station, but was told "not til later".

14/02/2026: I am writing this review in the hope that something will improve. This gastro pub used to be a nice place to eat, but over the past 1.5 years the food quality has declined to an unacceptable level. We first visited two years ago for my birthday and everything was great. I returned a couple of times after that, and it was still good. However, during a later visit we were served overcooked pasta and low-quality food, so we decided not to go back. We recently gave it another chance after 1.5 years, but nothing has improved. The schnitzel and braised beef were dry and overcooked, the tomato sauce was unpleasantly sour, and the onion was undercooked and crunchy. The whole dish lacked basic flavour. I won’t be back.

20/03/2026: Got takeaway here the night before Paddy's. It took over an hour for food to arrive and it was cold. After a call and a Just eat request they refunded part of my money and offered a replacement so service was good. I felt valued regardless of a difficult moment.

24/01/2026: new speed bumps are ridiculous don’t even stop the racer cars as they can drive around it, i always go over the speed bump in first gear as they wreck ur car, absolutely smacked the bottom of my car going over it the other day

17/02/2026: Excellent quality food. Expensive but well worth it and good value generous portions you will not go hungry. Service is friendly and efficient. Nice cosy feel to the restaurant with a lot of character. Has a large outdoor area which is dog friendly and I believe they have a bicycle station for any quick repairs if you are coming off the greenway. This would be an excellent stop of the green lots of space to bring your bicycles.

15/02/2026: We have always been huge fans of Lock 13 from the food to the cocktails, nothing ever disappoints! We recently had our Day 2 of our wedding here and again it did not disappoint. Luke and Dan were a pleasure to deal with and nothing was any trouble. The area was perfect size and the finger food menu is very reasonable. Everyone is still commenting on the delicious food! Thank you so much

10/11/2025: Great to see a restaurant of this standard in Kildare. With the Hangman’s closed, we’ve been short of somewhere special locally, and O’Dooles has definitely stepped up. It’s a proper night-out spot – not just a pub meal. We had a group of 15 last night and everything was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive without being over the top, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the place is spotless. The wine list is well chosen and fairly priced, drinks looked great, and the food was full of flavour across all courses. We also had a coeliac with us and the kitchen handled it perfectly – clear communication, careful preparation, and a gluten-free starter made fresh, which was very much appreciated. It’s great to have somewhere like this on our doorstep in Kildare. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back.

07/11/2025: We had a really lovely experience in O'Dooles restaurant for my brother’s birthday. The staff were fantastic and the food was amazing from start to finish. Great cocktail menu and lovely bar area for a pre dinner drink. Margarita was fab. The prawn starter was delish and the chickpea fritter to start was exceptional. Everyone enjoyed the main courses the Seabass for me was perfect and so flavorsome and my brother was very happy with the Veal chop. Desserts were great and the Cheeseboard - we are all still thinking about it! Great atmosphere in the restaurant. We can’t wait to go back. Thanks again to all the team at O’Dooles!

08/12/2025: Worst biryani ever had. It's like sticky sambar rice and complained to guy who taken the order and he was arguing.No heater switched on and it's too cold.

22/11/2025: Me and boyfriend have being trying indian restaurants around naas and newbridge and this is by far the best. Anyone we recommend it to thinks the same. You will not be disappointed if you try it and if you do you will be back the food is amazing. The staff are very welcoming and friendly specially Adnan.
