The best restaurants in Kildare

02/10/2025: I recently purchased the Kenya Kamagogo, and it’s truly exceptional. The quality of the beans, the process, and the roast are outstanding. In the cup, it reveals a remarkable complexity—delicate honey sweetness, a surprisingly strong body (for a Kenyan coffee), and lively fruity acidity with notes of apricot and sweet apple. The aroma is rich and layered, with hints of cacao, butter, and red wine. This is without a doubt a true specialty coffee. I am so glad that I found this roastery in Ireland.

10/09/2025: I had gotten a cappuccino and my girlfriend got a mango smoothie and with the AI posters on the wall I should have known what I was getting into the cappuccino itself was grand id drink one from there again and the smoothie my girlfriend got was just horrible she had to throw it out by the time we got back to the car there was nothing smoothie about it it was super watery and the flavour was like cold tea not much mango flavor

11/10/2025: Really lovely brunch at the grill shack. Venue was great after a long walk in Donadea! Team were very attentive and friendly. Food was good, I picked the veggie burger which was satisfying, perhaps not the best the venue has to offer considering its a grill joint. My friends food looked better, but she got pulled pork. Might have been envy.... I'll know for the next visit.

21/09/2025: Absolutely mouth watering, delicious food.. Atmosphere was so warm and inviting, alongside an artificial, but lovely fireplace that set the scene... Staff were amazing from start to finish, could truly not do enough for us. Staff as honourable to there job like this is hard to come across.. Bathroom was clean, well maintained. It is pricey, but you pay for what you get and this lives up to all super standards. Would 💯 recommend this spot for any occasion. Thank you 😊

17/07/2025: Omg! Ice coffee 😍 One of the best I've ever had. Atmospheric place, with outdoor tables and chairs with cushions. Homely and cozy.

28/09/2025: I don't know how many times I came already to have breakfast or just to grab a coffee but one thing is true, there are few. If you are in Naas and you love having a good time in a great place, I'll always recommend Hey Darling

03/09/2025: Must visit for locals! I have lived near Newbridge for 3 years and always wanted to visit but never did until last month. The shop has something for everyone! Whether you’re looking for some jewellery, cutlery, Christmas ornaments or even preloved items! Price range is great, you can get 1 fork for a few euros or you can get a full cutlery set for 60e or something more bespoke too. The silverware factory tour is great, small and you learn a lot about how many they times they adapted and didn’t give up. I would recommend taking ear plugs with you if you’re sensitive to noise. Visitor centre also hosts Museum of Style Icons. It’s free to visit and they have the “revenge dress”. Finally there’s delicious afternoon tea to enjoy in the lovely cafe. Warmly recommend!

20/10/2025: I stopped in for a dinner. Now the Lemon chicken was really good. I ordered the fried rice, and it didnt really hit the mark for me. However the Baileys cheese cake was amazing. Service could have been a little better.

10/10/2025: Such as pity that the Lemongrass shutdown in Liffey valley as it was the one we used regularly. Drove to Naas to get my favourite dish Nasi Goreng. My wife had the Singapore Noodles. Both dishes were really good. We had prawn crackers to start with a sweet chilli sauce. We will be back soon with the family. Parking can be tricky but we got the last spot in the paid parking beside the restaurant at 1.20 and hour paid by credit card. There were a few empty spaces leaving the restaurant at 2.30.
