04/11/2025: Fantastic meal at this place couple of weeks back,fish&chips served perfectly cooked and homemade lasagne was delicious, great bunch of lady's working there.loved it and will be back.

23/11/2025: The whole experience was amazing. We went there for breakfast and ordered the full Irish Breakfast, omelette and nutella pancakes. The owners were extremely accomodating and so friendly. Everything we odered was scrumptious and the service was perfect. A nice and cosy place with warm hearted owners making this a most pleasent experience. We will definately be going back! Haleema

19/10/2025: Lovely little café in a quiet corner of Naas town. Had a delicous breakfast here on Saturday while in town. Food was excellent and more importantly than other supposed "better" cafés in town I had tried before, this food was all freshly cooked, delightful spot and in a nice quiet area just off main street and easy walking distance from anywhere in town. Best I have eaten in Naas, will definitely be going to Home Café again.

28/10/2025: Very nice pub food. Chicken wings are some of the nicest Ive had in the Kildare area. Fish and chips lovely and fresh. The only let down was the chicken burger which was just a bit dry and not very tasty but everything else was very enjoyable. Loved the creme brulee too and staff were all very friendly.

27/10/2025: First but not last time to visit Cookes..... the food is absolutely gorgeous. We all struggled to choose as the menu sounded so good & nobody from our party of 9 was disappointed. Will be back soon 😊

02/10/2025: I recently purchased the Kenya Kamagogo, and it’s truly exceptional. The quality of the beans, the process, and the roast are outstanding. In the cup, it reveals a remarkable complexity—delicate honey sweetness, a surprisingly strong body (for a Kenyan coffee), and lively fruity acidity with notes of apricot and sweet apple. The aroma is rich and layered, with hints of cacao, butter, and red wine. This is without a doubt a true specialty coffee. I am so glad that I found this roastery in Ireland.

10/11/2025: Great to see a restaurant of this standard in Kildare. With the Hangman’s closed, we’ve been short of somewhere special locally, and O’Dooles has definitely stepped up. It’s a proper night-out spot – not just a pub meal. We had a group of 15 last night and everything was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive without being over the top, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the place is spotless. The wine list is well chosen and fairly priced, drinks looked great, and the food was full of flavour across all courses. We also had a coeliac with us and the kitchen handled it perfectly – clear communication, careful preparation, and a gluten-free starter made fresh, which was very much appreciated. It’s great to have somewhere like this on our doorstep in Kildare. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back.

07/11/2025: We had a really lovely experience in O'Dooles restaurant for my brother’s birthday. The staff were fantastic and the food was amazing from start to finish. Great cocktail menu and lovely bar area for a pre dinner drink. Margarita was fab. The prawn starter was delish and the chickpea fritter to start was exceptional. Everyone enjoyed the main courses the Seabass for me was perfect and so flavorsome and my brother was very happy with the Veal chop. Desserts were great and the Cheeseboard - we are all still thinking about it! Great atmosphere in the restaurant. We can’t wait to go back. Thanks again to all the team at O’Dooles!

01/12/2025: I've stayed in Carton house quite a few times over the years, including for our wedding, and other family occasions. We stayed on 07/Nov/2025 for our anniversary, it was the first time we've stayed since maybe 2020 and I cannot begin to describe how much the hotel has deteriorated. The root of the problem is that the hotel appears to be chronically understaffed. There are incredibly long delays for everything, from breakfast in the morning (for which guests were expected to join a queue outside in the courtyard and wait for 30 mins), to even the most simple thing like ordering a drink at the bar which took upwards of 45 mins in some cases. There were unhappy and very irritated customers everywhere, to the point where people were arguing about who should be served at the bar next. One lady loudly demanded to speak to a manager who was nowhere to be found and did not show up. Staff were visibly stressed and upset. The final insult was when we were overcharged whilst checking out and had to query the bill. We have tried to complain to the hotel many times since but all we have received from them is a token copy & paste 'sorry about that'. The whole experience was deeply unpleasant, particularly considering how highly we regarded the hotel previously. If I could turn back time, we would have chosen a different hotel where you might feel a little more welcomed for the exorbitant price they charge for the privilege.

30/11/2025: Beautiful building, but not the service you'd expect from a Fairmont. No service. No effort to understand our English. No consideration for food intolerances.

22/11/2025: Me and boyfriend have being trying indian restaurants around naas and newbridge and this is by far the best. Anyone we recommend it to thinks the same. You will not be disappointed if you try it and if you do you will be back the food is amazing. The staff are very welcoming and friendly specially Adnan.
