13/07/2026: Stunning Hotel, exceptional quality for the price, all the facilities 1 would need, very friendly staff. Lovely food. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Got a helipad incase you arrive in your personal helicopter. 😅 I'll definitely be back, but for longer next time.

22/07/2026: A very charming family business with excellent quality and friendly service. Definitely recommended in Castledermot – well worth a detour!
We came to Castledermot from Duckett Grove to see the Roundtower and the Abbey.

22/04/2026: They have the worst live entertainment. Sunday the 12th of April was particularly abysmal. Two young girls singing that sounded like cats being tortured. If you ever run into them in the mayo area, I recommend carrying around two sharpened pencils so you could stab yourself in the ears. Pub itself was grand. Excellent service and good pints.

25/06/2026: Very friendly owners, delicious food, great relaxed atmosphere, you need to prebook a table, they do lunches a couple days a week too but still you need to book it as it's a tiny place but it's really worth it and we will be back for sure! The menu keeps changing so you can taste different dishes which is fantastic!

I got the Tatsuta - Age. It was full of flavour and the portion was perfect. I just wished it was crispier, as mentioned on the menu.
Recommended overall.
