The best restaurants in Kildare

20/05/2025: Tried this place having not previously heard of it. Very quiet on a Monday afternoon but the food was delicious. The sizzling seitan steak was delicious. Brought the kids and they thought the pizza was delicious too. Will be back for more grub soon.

27/04/2025: I went to Bradys Clockhouse for lunch with a lady friend today and the food was fantastic 😋. The service was very good even though it got busy. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Hats off to the chef. I enjoyed the Crispy chicken ster fri. I'll definitely be back

19/04/2025: A couple of 00 Corona's with the lads on a school night. Savage beer garden in one of the most popular pubs in Newbridge. A great venue for any excuse to have a couple of sociables. 👌🍺

24/05/2025: I only drink Guinness in four places in Ireland: the Guinness Storehouse, Kehoe’s in Dublin, The Gravediggers in Glasnevin, and Con Cummins in Newbridge. It used to be five, but The Nags Head in Monasterevan has sadly closed. Out of all of them, Con Cummins serves the best pint I’ve ever had — smooth, fresh, perfectly poured. It’s genuinely unbeatable. A hidden gem that holds its own against the most famous pints in the country.

05/05/2025: Great atmosphere but there are not enough options for the menu, many dishes not available. Update I have come back several times since, and indeed, the choices are varied, the atmosphere is pleasant and the dishes are delicious. It’s a place I always like to come back to.

05/05/2025: Classic Pub, the wings are just crazy big, good quality and notnso bad value in today's shitconomy. AAA+ would recommend.

12/05/2025: My friend and I had dinner in 2nd May 2025 and I can only describe the experience as superb. We both thought Menu choices were very very good and I personally selected the Veal which was “melt in the mouth”. It’s not often on Irish menus which is a pity. I also wish to acknowledge that a change of dining time was facilitated without any fuss. We will definitely be back.

09/05/2025: This was our first visit and selected this restaurant on the internet. 7 of us for dinner. Food was amazing and service excellent, attentive but not intrusive. Would highly recommend.

20/05/2025: Simply the best coffees of Clane and around.. one of the only place where they don’t burn the coffee which makes it flavoursome as it should be. I’ve never got a bad one and I can’t say the same for any other café. Excellent service as well

23/02/2025: Highly recommend! It was my first time eating Turkish food. I ordered the Doner Turkish wrap, Lamchuan, and a Turkish coffee. They were all so flavorful! The interior is stunning! The staff are so nice, and they looked very happy every time more people came in. I’ll definitely go there again! ❤️

27/04/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Consistently Excellent — A Must-Visit Spot Just Outside Straffan, Clane, and Maynooth! Popped in today for a quick coffee and meal, and yet again, this place proves why it's a local favorite. Food came out fast — almost surprisingly quick — but still fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. Staff are genuinely friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which makes all the difference. Prices are very fair for the quality you're getting. Parking can get a little tight in the front (a sign they're popular!), but there's plenty of extra space out back if you swing around. Location-wise, it’s a perfect pitstop — a few minutes' drive from Straffan, Clane, and Maynooth — ideal for a relaxed Sunday dinner or a casual midweek meal. Not my first visit here, and without a doubt, it won’t be my last. Highly recommend if you're in the area — or even if you're not, it’s worth the short drive!

30/04/2025: We stumbled upon this place after a lovely walk in Castletown park. I will honestly say that this is some of the best food I’ve ever had. We had tapas and it was the nicest most flavoursome food I’ve ever consumed. The staff were absolutely top notch, very welcoming and attentive. This place is a must visit, we will be back over and over again. Thankyou
