13/10/2025: I got my pierogi here today OMG the name of the place says it : Delicious!!!coffee also amazing -I would say one of the best in town, staff and Kasia very friendly, happy to help you out with choosing the meal. Cakes looked great next try I will give it a go! Highly recommended!

28/06/2025: First time in Monasterevin and Brennans was a great surprise, family run bar with decades of history and history. We were immediately offered the tour when we arrived, which was brilliant. Highly recommend it.

10/01/2026: my partner never complains about food but my god it must have been cooked a week ago and stored in a desert was soo dry she couldn't eat it, my fish and chips was good, sause was great.

07/12/2025: The food is super, the climate is slightly chilly but it might be because of the winter. The staff are very friendly and nice. (The vanilla matcha could have a bigger note of vanilla)

10/11/2025: Absolutely fantastic experience — great food, excellent service, and a 6-star ambience! You can truly relax and enjoy your meal while listening to the soothing sound of the river. Bonus points for being open from 9 AM to 9 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, even though Google still lists their hours as only until 7 PM.

16/01/2026: I have never left a bad review before but the experience last night warranted it. Dined here on the 14/01/25 as a group of 4. We booked in before going to see Christy Moore after seeing they were offering a special set menu pre concert. We were booked in for 18:30, with the concert due to start at 20:00. The meal was a disaster from start to finish. We were sat and given menus and water, that was fine. Over 20 minutes then went by with no sign of any staff member coming to our table to take our order. We then made several attempts to get someone’s attention to take our order, it appeared staff members were avoiding eye contact. We eventually had our order taken for our food and drinks. We had a visible view of the bar and could see our 3 drinks sitting on a tray waiting to be delivered for over 10 minutes while multiple members of staff walked by the bar repeatedly. Our starters arrived; two members of the party ordered soup which arrived in a tiny bowl and did not receive the brown bread it was due to be served with. They also did not receive soup spoons. We finished our starters and sat with our empty plates on the table again for a very long time. At this stage we were very conscious of the time as we had the concert at 8pm. One of the party had to walk to the complete other end of the restaurant and ask a staff member to clear our plates so that we could get our mains. Our mains arrived just after 19:30. Two of the party ordered the beef and asked for it with the sauce on the side. The beef arrived with the sauce on it. This was mentioned to the staff who delivered the food but due to the time pressure we were now under there was no time to send it back. To add insult to this mistake, both of the beefs were stone cold. It was not eaten. The other two mains ordered were the sea bass, which tasted fine but nothing special or amazing. There was also no vegetables served with the mains which for the price is just not acceptable. We went up to pay and at no stage were we asked by staff how our meal was. I brought up about the problem with the starters and mains and the staff member took 30% off the bill. Prior to the discount the bill was €195, not a small amount of money. Even paying the €150 for what we received was too much. He did not make eye contact or apologise during the entire interaction. This entire experience put such a dampener on our evening. I understand that the hotel was very busy with the concert that was on but the event had been announced months ago. It is not acceptable to be so underprepared. For a venue that holds so many events and weddings I simply do not understand how last night was allowed to happen. We are local to Naas and have visited the Killashee so many times for meals and special occasions. My fiancé and I were even considering having our wedding here. However, after last nights disaster we will not be and will think twice before coming here for a meal again.

14/01/2026: This hotel was way bigger than I was expecting, I was impressed with it, the room we had was very spacious and had everything in it, a shower and a separate bath, the bed was massive I couldn't even touch the missus she was that far away, there's was a good coffee machine with the proper pods 10/10 on that,I think these was two hairstyles and an electric kettle for tea, and the TV must of been at least a 55", it was a good walk down to the lobby, food was brilliant and the staff were also very friendly, The also have a pool which I didn't try but looked nice, Overall I would return to this hotel, and going by the crowd that was staying there lots of people think the same never seen as many people in a hotel anywhere in my life

03/01/2026: Very bad service We order pizza deal on the big pizza alpino are missing so we bring it back and they said they gonna make fresh and they took the pizza we are struggling with 2 kids in car and then they want us to wait and all other food got cold and kids going mad in the car.

26/07/2025: Amazing experience at Mode Tapas! I had the burger and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The coffee was just as great, rich and smooth, exactly the way I like it. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

08/08/2025: It was an old room with a lot of mold and mildew in the bathroom and no amenities in the room, no slippers, no toothbrush... none of that. Considering the price I paid, it was extremely poor.

06/08/2025: Attended wedding.. Beautiful buildings and gardens, food excellent and staff wonderful 👍

27/12/2025: We reserved a table for 2 with our dog on Christmas Eve. Food was super - blueberry and lemon drizzle pancakes and a cooked breakfast with homemade sourdough. The staff are so pleasant and there was a lovely buzzy atmosphere. One of the genuinely great spots to eat in Maynooth! Wish more restaurants and cafes in Maynooth were dog friendly, it’s very much appreciated to be able to sit inside in winter! We will definitely be back.

20/12/2025: Food is always top Tier! Baristas and staff are great love coming into the shop in maynooth! Coffee was nicer when you had the le heron Brazil on but I appreciate the coffee that’s on bar now because of the background on it.

17/10/2025: Wouldn’t get my coffee anywhere else than here 10/10! Super friendly and accommodating staff, you can feel the great energy through the drive through window and the coffee is lovely everytime !

06/10/2025: I would wait 20 minutes for a coffee here if I had too. It’s the nicest coffee spot, staff & service are amazing.
