18/05/2024: I was at the hangedmans restraunt today with my family. As I was sitting down having our dinner I over heard a horrendous conversation with the owner of the restraunt. The owner was shouting at a woman from what I understood was not her fault at all as someone with her had canceled a booking, the owner then went on to tell the woman to f***off and to leave. Another man then came up to tell the owner that this wasn’t right or talk to a woman like that, and his response to the man was f*** off aswell, totally inexcusable behaviour and should not shout and use vulgar language to a woman. I said it to him when paying for our bill that I would be leaving this review as I was disgusted with his behaviour. Do not come here unless you want to be shouted at or abused for no reason. The owner is a horrid man

24/02/2025: Great pub, great pint of Guinness. Great bar people serving drinks. There is only one problem I would have, there are one or minimum of two people insisting that "We have to turn on the Golf", as opposed to the rest of us, who just want to watch GAA. Golfers 🏌️‍♂️ always seem to get their way 🤔🫢😏💙💛

06/02/2025: So fed up with our Dominoes, it's always like eating cardboard. Stale and flavourless. You think they'd get their act together when Papa Johns and Apache is in the same area as them at much better quality and cheaper prices.

10/01/2025: Ordered online, waited for an hour. Called them, they said my order is on its way. Waited another hour. Called again, they said my order actually never went through. Requested a refund, they couldnt do that. So I said alright deliever it then. They forgot my sprite but at least gave me a sevenup after a bit. Never again. At least the delievery person was friendly.

26/02/2025: It’s cunninghams what more is there to say, they’ve got something for everyone, even my vegan girlfriend likes their vege burger and deep fried pickles, if you’re not vegan/vegetarian I highly recommend the wings, they’re like real good. Also quite solid beer selection. Good pub.

26/09/2024: Lovely brunch/ breakfast! The eggs benedict and pancakes are really tasty. The menu is really reasonably priced too! The only thing is the food is not hot-hot more room temperature, the 3rd time I went in I did ask them to make sure it was hot and it was though! So maybe just ask. The staff are friendly and didn’t mind. Would definitely recommend.

14/09/2024: The best place in the town for breakfast, food is amazing, plenty of it too. It's also comfortable bright and clean and the staff are so lovely. My partner says the coffee is delicious also. Highly recommended. Edit as of 14/09/24 It's worth noting, this cafe has moved from it's previous location on the street-front on station road to inside the small mall across the street. More seating is now available.

15/03/2025: A trip to Furey's was always a rare treat that was worth going the 'old toad' for. We hadn't been to Furey's in three years and were dismayed by how much it has declined. The steak used to be famous. Mine smelled and was inedible. What has gone wrong? Won't be back. Dreadful.

01/03/2025: I’ve eaten here many times over the period of the past 2 years. I have never been here and had an experience where I would give any less than 11/10. The food is top notch, really fresh, consistent and big servings for what you pay. The service is A1, all of the staff are so lovely, friendly and attentive no matter how busy they are. We have 2 kids and they’re always so nice to them and treat them with so much love and attention. The restaurants and toilets have been spotless each time we’ve been here. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

25/02/2025: I spent the evening with my Finnish family, and the restaurant, food and staff were the most loveliest. They had all sorts of dishes and they were able to even cater to my vegan desires, even though the standard menu they gave us didn't have any vegan options. I can highly recommend the restaurant/pub to anyone visiting the region, be they vegan or not. The vegan dish I had was tomato pasta with veggies and it was amazingly delicious, definitely worth the five stars, and the other dishes my family ordered (steak and fish and chips) were absolutely fabulous as well. The staff was lovely as well and I felt like we were being taken care of by mother figures, very lovely and warming experience. If you're in the region, the place is a must see and experience. Well worth the visit, and on top of that, very low prices!
