26/06/2025: Popped into JB Mahoney recently and honestly, what a find. It’s got that rare mix of proper character and a genuinely warm atmosphere that makes you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first visit. The Guinness? Spot on, creamy, smooth, poured with care. You can tell they take pride in it, which is more than you can say for a lot of places. And if you haven’t tried the Algerian, you’re missing out – bold, rich, and absolutely delicious. A proper pint to remember. The bar staff are brilliant, friendly, funny, and somehow manage to keep everything running smoothly even when it's packed. Even, the teachers chap I was speaking to inside. JB Mahoney’s strikes that perfect balance: welcoming, down-to-earth, but with real quality behind the bar. Whether you're in for a quiet one or a few rounds with mates, this place just gets it right.

10/05/2026: Amazing staff here and the food was so nice. Highly recommend. Sitting outside in the sun watching the world go by. Was tempted to have a wine only i had to drive. 100% will be back massive thank you, to the team.

03/05/2026: Enjoyed the bowling in Airtastic. Staff were polite, and quick at setting up our games. Though, they are very expensive and poor value for the price, i.e. €43.50 for two students and a child for only 2 games.

18/05/2026: when booking a night out.. music.. it states it starts at 8pm... the doors open at 9PM.. the band comes on at about 10.30pm... we went on a 50 km trip with bus home at 12.15 am. we had to leave early as it started so late... we will not be doing it again....

05/05/2026: I started to like going to this place until I went with two friends and one of them was discriminated for wearing a non-sleeved top. We were just enjoying the sunlight and the owner sent a message via one of the staff members. I felt very disappointed that this mindset is a thing here in Ireland. I did not expect that!

Everything is prepared and served fresh, which really makes a difference in both taste and quality. A great place to enjoy a satisfying meal, with consistently delicious food and excellent freshness.
