14/12/2025: Kebabs are awful. Doner meat burnt and the chicken is a chopped up breaded goujon.. if I wanted a chicken fillet wrap I’d have gone to a deli. Chips also not nice. Pizzas are great but I would never order a kebab or the chips again.

15/11/2025: We used to buy pizza here and it was amazing. The last two pizzas we got were mediocre and the chips were taken out of a Lidl bag. No decent Italian place would do Lidl chos. Great service, nice guys but the quality went down.

Really good quality prawns & steak. Considering what we order it’s such a good price point too. We would highly recommend ❤️

The room I stayed in was beautiful, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It made me feel right at home. A special thank you to the lovely hostess Beata, whom I met upon arrival: her kindness, smile, and professionalism truly touched me. People like her make you feel instantly welcome. More broadly, everyone I met during these few days in Ireland, and especially in Kildare, was absolutely wonderful. I sincerely recommend that anyone passing through Kildare stay at Thomas Silken Accommodation and stop by without hesitation for a drink, a meal, or a place to sleep. 03/01/2026: We recently celebrated my sons' birthday party at Bumbai Creative Restaurant, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make the day special. The food is truly authentic and every dish we ordered was yummy. A huge shoutout to the kitchen for the Malai Kofta—it was customized perfectly to our taste and was a massive hit with our guests. The Dal makhani was also amazing, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Everyone had a fantastic time and left with full bellies. 31/12/2025: The good: the food and the atmosphere are quite good. The bad: the service is atrocious. Few yougsters, running around like headless chickens, often don't get the orders right, and forget about you once the food is delivered to the table. Worst of all - they don't take the reservations. Sure, nothing new, but this one time, when we wanted to bring our 86 grandmother for a quick dinner, I called them and asked could they make an exception, since she wouldn't be able to wait 40 mins for the table, they straight up said no. Way to treat your elrderly. Again, if it was just me, that wouldn't be an issue. Nice place, but does it lose point for their bad service and god awful yreatment of clients?-sure they will. There's room for improvement. Give the kids proper training and maybe think about how you treat the hand that feeds you.

07/12/2025: From the outside, The Salmon Leap Inn looks… well, let’s say “resting peacefully.” At the corner of a main road, it gives off strong “I’ve seen some things” energy. Honestly, I almost drove past thinking it was closed or possibly haunted. But then… BUT THEN. You step inside and it’s like Narnia, if Narnia had pints and regulars with a sense of humour. Warm, cosy, and full of positive vibes. The place practically hugs you. The co-customers are so friendly you half expect someone to offer you slippers and a cup of tea. It feels less like a pub and more like popping round to a mate’s living room; if your mate also pulls a brilliant pint. The service? Personalised, quick, and genuinely cheerful. None of that “I’m only here for my shift paycheck” energy; more like “welcome to our family, can we get you settled with a drink?” In short: The Salmon Leap Inn might look like it’s napping on the outside, but step in and you’ll find a lively, charming surprise. A hidden gem that proves you definitely can’t judge a pub by its cover. 🍻

07/03/2026: First time here. Very nice set up. Plenty of pool & snooker tables, lots of space to play. Tables in very nice condition

11/02/2026: Loved it sooo awesome for kids, get face paint see animals and stop in for a delicious bite to eat. Great staff and service.

24/01/2026: A great place to spend time with children. It's like a mini zoo. Free admission, you only pay 1 euro for a box of food. Ostriches, camels, goats, pigs, mares, and chickens. Next to it is a restaurant and a shop.

08/03/2026: Tasty food however portions are disgracefully small and the prices are through the roof. Would recommend if you like being robbed and rode while eating a burger.

23/11/2025: Over from Galway playing golf in the K club and was looking to grab a bite in Maynooth. Absolutely unreal food. Great service, friendly and cheerful staff. What more could you want! Ill be back here anytime I'm in the area.

23/11/2025: The whole experience was amazing. We went there for breakfast and ordered the full Irish Breakfast, omelette and nutella pancakes. The owners were extremely accomodating and so friendly. Everything we odered was scrumptious and the service was perfect. A nice and cosy place with warm hearted owners making this a most pleasent experience. We will definately be going back! Haleema
