05/09/2025: I recently stayed at Carton House for two nights and while the property is absolutely stunning with beautiful decor and amazing views, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful, there were several aspects that did not meet the standards I would expect from a five star hotel. The bathroom had very poor water pressure and the pillows and blankets were made of synthetic materials rather than feather which made the pillows particularly uncomfortable. We loved the restaurant where breakfast was served and the a la carte menu was delicious (although the portions were small), but the buffet was a major disappointment because we usually had breakfast around 10am and since it ends at 10.30am the buffet was not replenished, leaving very little food available and on our second day almost nothing at all, which meant leaving breakfast still hungry.

20/08/2025: My family and I stayed here for one night for my sister’s wedding. The wedding was beautiful and the food was delicious. The room we stayed in was huge and had 3 beds for my family of 6. I was especially happy with the service and kindness of the general manager, Owen, who helped us when we checked out. My husband’s wedding ring fell into a sewer in the parking lot (thanks to my son lol) and the manager came to not only give us tools, but he stuck his entire bare arm down that sewer and got the ring back. We offered him a tip because that’s what we do where we live but he kindly refused it and put it back into my baby’s stroller. Very kind man!

25/08/2025: The restaurant I would recommend for asian type of food. High quality ingredients, excellent service and real Chefs. It is a bit overwhelming the fact that is always packed and tiny and I am a bit claustrophobic sometimes but it is definitely worth to taste.

23/08/2025: I visited Junction 14 earlier this week and went to the Superman's food offering. I would just like to say that the young man who served me was so polite and helpful. He was in his late teens and named Cameron. He could not have been more helpful. I was greeted with a warm welcome, he was very attentive all through our interaction and wished a wonderful day when my transaction was complete. Staff like Cameron are hard to find and we'll done to Junction 14 to have such staff. Kind regards, Thomas.

18/07/2025: Beautiful place with the kindest servers and fast service - right beside the train station. Jun in particular was extremely lovely and hospitable - he even offered to look after my suitcase while I went to the bathroom. I highly recommend visiting here! 🌸

17/07/2025: I had an amazing time at lock 13!! A friend and I got drinks from the amazing bartender jun and his service was incredible. He really made us feel welcome and his bartending skills were very impressive! Will return for sure!!

31/08/2025: I usually only wrote review's when food is really good,well above ok and deserves recommendations and only when is really bad …never really when is ok only…now this place was really bad …bruschetta as a starter was soggy with way too much oil maybe also tomatoes …lots of tomatoes…my pizza was terrible…couldn’t even finish and I actually eat food even when is not great but this cheese was like chewing gum, could not lift slice without everything from pizza falling onto plate, I hate when that happens with pizzas …very disappointing, as place has really good reviews actually…strange …never again We did hand bruschetta back as the bread was not crispy, it was completely soggy …pizza could only be eaten with a knife and fork…I like to be able to lift a slice of pizza…my wife pasta was swimming in sauce…I didn’t ask for another pizza as we had kids with us and it was time to go…and the last thing, yes you right people have different taste but I don’t see nothing wrong giving reviews when you don’t like the food…reviews are not only for people enjoying this type of food …we didn’t at all and maybe this review will help for this people with similar taste as our…thanks

12/07/2025: This is not my first time to dine at canvas and it won't be my last 👍 I had lasagne and chips 👌 perfect. It's a very small restaurant that's the perfect size to make it so friendly and cosy. You always feel welcome as the staff are so nice 👍 definitely worth a visit 👌
