18/01/2026: Great food, good service and good value.

14/12/2025: Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed dinner at this restaurant which is located in a village about two miles south of Naas, Co Kildare. There is plenty of free parking. The food was excellent, as was the service. The place was packed on the Friday before Christmas.

15/02/2026: Very disappointed with the standard of last order and emphasis should be placed on Fresh food and presentation instead of re heated substandard food.

25/01/2026: Dear Management, I am writing to formally complain about the treatment my wife, myself, and our friends received at Lawlers of Naas on Saturday evening. We have visited your premises on many occasions, particularly on Sundays, without ever experiencing an issue. Yesterday, following a low-key family christening, a group of seven friends joined us for drinks. Three members of our group arrived earlier, including one couple where the woman was heavily pregnant. After we had sat down and were having a drink, we were approached by Bar Manager Adam and told that we would have to leave at 9:30pm. No explanation was given, and there had been no disorderly behaviour, raised voices, or breach of house rules. Two members of our group privately spoke with the manager to ask what we had done wrong. They were told, “No guys, what did we do? You did nothing wrong.” Despite this, during this conversation, bar staff removed drinks from our table without consent. When our friends queried where their drinks had gone, they were told they had not purchased any drinks. This was incorrect. Both friends had paid by card and were able to immediately show proof of payment on their banking app. It is also important to note that two of our friends, who do not appear to be members of the Traveller community, were served food and drinks without issue throughout the evening. However, once staff became aware that other members of our group were from the Traveller community, service was refused and we were effectively forced to leave. The only difference between those who were served and those who were not was their membership of the Traveller community. That is discrimination, plain and simple. I find it deeply upsetting that in 2026 this kind of treatment is still occurring. We are local people and local business owners. I personally have coached children in Newbridge for over 30 years and have contributed positively to the local community my entire adult life. None of that mattered on Sunday night. We were humiliated in front of friends, one of whom was heavily pregnant, and made to feel unwelcome solely because of who we are. I am requesting: • A written explanation for the actions of management and staff • Confirmation of your policies regarding equality and non-discrimination • An assurance that members of the Traveller community will not be treated this way again This complaint is being documented formally. I hope it can be resolved appropriately, but I will consider further action if necessary. I look forward to your response. Yours sincerely, Edward Stokes

11/12/2025: We booked for 7 pm for our family and was totally let down by the long wait and awful service. I do not blame the floor staff or the kitchen staff but the owners who are allowing walk-ins putting pressure on staff and in turn giving bad service to the customers who have booked and paid good money to eat at this establishment! I hope the owners review their policy and put quality over quantity!

14/08/2025: Bardons has the nicest food in Kilcullen 10 times nicer than the hideout! Great service even nicer food I’ve been to bandons plenty of times have tried most things on the menu and never been disappointed! The beef is my favourite but there’s plenty of options for everybody ! 10/10 would recommend

13/07/2025: The food…..was the nicest food I’ve had in a long time unreal experience fast service lovely staff I had the Mexican chicken burger omg unreal big portions aswell the steak sandwich could feed two people and the chips where chips can’t complain lovely atmosphere we only went for food we didn’t stay there but the pub was lovely the price is fair for what you getting

11/09/2025: Been here several times and I've always been very impressed by the quality of their produce. Sandwiches and rolls are prepared fresh and are delicious. I love their batch bread. The coffee log is really light yet full of flavour. Staff are lovely and always friendly too. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

29/04/2026: Absolutely disgusting food! I got a snack box of greasy chicken and over seasoned fries making everything inedible. Sick of these corporations cutting corners and serving up slop.

24/04/2026: New Review on 06/12/2020: (It’s a pity that users can’t review one place twice) Been there 3 times and they failed twice. ORDER 4199 took me 30 mins to get. I saw at least 3 buckets was collected even ordered after me while I was waiting. The cashier girl Lisa was so ignorant and rude telling me it’s supposed to be so slow. In the end they found out that my order was not on their screen!!! They had to take the paper receipt from my hand to prepare the food! Ordered 10 pieces and only got 6 including a tiny one. And no corn. Basically I paid 25 euros for a bucket with 6 piece and chips. This place should be shut down. I’ve never been a worse place, not just KFC, ever. Old Review: Ordered a triple sharing bucket to go and they didn’t give me the 8 hot wings. Maybe this is how they make money nowadays. WARNING: please check your take away bag because more than likely they'll give you less than what you paid for.
