30/10/2024: What a place!!!!!!! If you are a tourist, don't be afraid, it's locals place and there you will find a proper Kildare Town welcome. All of them beer drinkers are locals and what a characters you will find. I remember one of them even offered me to share his pint bottle of Bulmers hahahha. Well, if you are in town you have to drop by for a proper black shtuff. AMAZING place!!!!!!

18/03/2025: Nice, friendly staff. The food was really nice. We were in the narrow section near the bar. The front door made lots of noise as people enter and exit the restaurant and is quite loud but this would not put you off the experience in Rustic. The menu is large and the food is very good. I would highly recommend the clonakilty options on the menu. Lovely place.

24/02/2025: Had a birthday party there and the service was friendly, but unbelievably slow. No water for the tables until asking twice and it took over half an hour to serve. We were informed what wasn't available long after ordering. Very badly managed. Food was delicious though.

18/03/2025: Fabulous coffee and always a friendly welcome. The loyalty card is great too - doesn’t take me long to fill them up. Having a drive thru option in Naas town is so handy and I treat myself often. Support local!

07/04/2025: **A Monday to Forget at Picaderos** I'm not sure what was more tragic, the lamb shank that seemed to have died twice or the service that left me feeling like I'd been robbed. The "Braised Lamb Shank with ‘Viño Tinto Jus’" was an unmitigated disaster—overcooked, drowning in a sea of gravy, and utterly flavorless. It was like the lamb had given up on life, and so did my taste buds. The atmosphere wasn't much better; loud tables dominated the space, making it feel more like a chaotic gathering than a dining experience. When I politely mentioned my disappointment, the response was a hollow promise to "tell the chef." Meanwhile, I was still charged €25.50 for this subpar meal. If ratings could go below zero, Picaderos would be a strong contender. Needless to say, my Monday was ruined, and so was my appetite for anything remotely resembling lamb. Maybe they should offer a refund and compensation for emotional distress?

13/03/2025: By far this place is the best in Maynooth! I’ve tried most of their dishes it’s always delicious. Exceptional service and staff are very welcoming. I love their pancakes for my brunch topped off with strawberry & cream 🥞😍😍 highly recommended if you’re looking for a cozy atmosphere and just good desserts.

08/03/2025: Bad service, food was below average and made my girlfriend sick, food took so long even though there was no one else in the restaurant. Chips came out cold and they didnt have any drink variety. Overall poir experience wouldn’t go again.

18/03/2025: One of the best Indian resturants around. Food is full of flavour and the menu is great value. Big shout out to the kebabs which won't leave you hungry.

06/03/2025: I was on my own at 10pm on a cold winter's Tuesday night. Outstanding food. Had the Himalayan chicken curry. Tasty curry sauce, chicken was succulent and the portion was exactly right. The vegetable fried rice was a meal in itself, with potatoes, carrots, green beans. Glass of Verdejo great value @ €6.50 Definitely going back soon for more 😋
