07/09/2024: Stay in hotle on 4 September 2024 for two nights staff was amazing from time u walk in to hotel food was amazing breakfast was amazing location was great I would recommend it if think get married here it give wedding fibes I'll defo be back again I cant wait have my big day there

25/10/2024: Good North Indian style food at Delhi Darbar Maynooth, no other Indian restaurants are North Indian style in Maynooth. Ambience is great, service is good, food is tasty (but mindful of lots of oil - which I suggest to reduce). Prices have gone 20% up in last 1 year osr so, before then prices were quite reasonable.

20/10/2024: Had lovely meal with family tried a few different dishes

25/08/2024: Poor service and food- ordered granola with yoghurt - received tiny pot of yoghurt with a huge bowl of dry granola. Ordered poached egg which came as fried - was told the poached egg would follow which it never did.

11/06/2024: Warm and friendly welcome, service was amazing and had our brunch in no time. Food was lovely with good variety. Very reasonable, nice atmosphere, highly recommend.

25/10/2024: I went for breakfast and ordered eggs Benedict and french toast. The eggs were fine but french toast had a mosquito on it. It took me a while to get someone to come to my table, when i got a waiter to return the plate with the bug in the middle of the toasts, she said it was because my place was "sitting there for a while", then took the plate. Other lady from kitchen said it was "from the strawberries". Nonetheless i obviously retuned the food and was charged for it anyway. They even asked me if I wanted to put the food in a box, should i take mosquito too? I thought. Anyway, such a behavior I wasn't expecting after finding a bug which was clearly inside the food and not just sitting on top of its surface. Not going back there.

05/10/2024: I had breakfast here with 2 friends and it was gorgeous .. I also got platters of sandwiches and a platter of cakes ( cookies mini cream slices , mini profiteroles, etc ) for a debs .. it was fabulous .. so fresh and so tasty and reasonable .. would highly recommend Aileen

20/10/2024: Very disappointed Brown Bear. I used to love coming here, probs about 6 years since I’ve Been here, it was always a pure treat for the food, never a danger of not clearing a plate. Last night not the case. Very excited to be back, 4 of us dining. I had fish cakes that were over done, flavourless and dry…. not nice then went for chicken dish… for the life of me I have no idea what it was…. The chicken was chicken… dull with a lump of charred something!!! Lettuce/ fennel not sure what it was, tasteless covered with a thick black/brown sauce that was not nice and 3 small overcooked potatoes. The waitress seemed affronted when he asked her to let the chef know that the roasted potatoes with the steak were not a great taste. I had a lovely evening because of the company deffo not the food though. Sad that I had a negative experience as this was always treat heaven to me and my Mum. I’m afraid I will be reluctant to return.

06/10/2024: Lovely out of the way restaurant with warm ambiance. Service was good, food was very good and my rioja red wine was smooth. My husband got the steak which was cooked a perfect medium rare with a nice peppercorn sauce. I had the Gochujang spicy ribs which had way way too much sauce. A light glaze is all it needs and gochujang is a very strong flavor. The sides of salad was fresh with a light sweet sauce. The potatoes and coleslaw were all really good and tasted fresh. We had a starter with The crispy duck which was the highlight with perfect crunch texture and light flavor. There was only 2 but the portions were good. The bread they serve at the start is soft and fresh as well.
