24/12/2025: I haft to say I can say nothing bad all good thing food was lovely and the staff are really nice

10/11/2025: Absolutely disgusting and rude. My god. 2 samosas for 4.5 euros. Got in the guy did not come to me for a few mins even though I was the ONLY ONE THERE. takes my order and asks me to come back even though I the whole restaurant was empty. I left because I wanted to see what he does. I Come back after 15 mins. He hands me a bag and gives me a warm coke. When I ask for a cold one. He laughed and said he doesnt have any. Can you imagine. Rock hard burger bun. Dirty tasting samosas. 0 star. Hope that guys sees this. My god Shameful

02/01/2026: The experience was just amazing. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma, alongside fries. They were so tasty, filling, of good quality, well cooked. The stuff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you Smokin' Goat team! Definitely recommend and will order again.

31/10/2025: We booked a party of eight...family occasion. First impression..excellent and spacious dining room Varied dishes ordered...fish beef etc..all were excellent..taste particularly and portion size. Friendly good humoured service..Very enjoyable experience ..will definitely visit again..

03/01/2026: Very bad service We order pizza deal on the big pizza alpino are missing so we bring it back and they said they gonna make fresh and they took the pizza we are struggling with 2 kids in car and then they want us to wait and all other food got cold and kids going mad in the car.

22/11/2025: Can’t get service, we walked in at 1pm , shown to our table , handed the menus and forgotten about . The place was dead . Three other tables waiting on service. I locked eyes with the waiter twice as he walked by me , no one at the bar . This isn’t the first time it has happened. . I’m living in Celbridge fifteen years and always try to support local pubs and restaurants as the hospitality sector is really struggling. Maybe this isn’t the case for McMahons .

29/03/2026: Order: chicken chop suey with fried noodles. Price: 13.60 for chicken chop suey with fried noodles. Average price, nothing surprising for this type of takeaway. 6/10 Fried noodles: dry, lacking flavour, and the portion was very small, almost child-sized. Definitely the weakest part of the meal. 3/10 Main dish: bland taste overall. The vegetables were clearly undercooked - onion, carrot and peppers were still hard and almost raw. That matches the fact the food was marked ready for collection less than 4 minutes after my phone order, which is simply too fast for proper cooking. The only positive point: it was not oversalted and not drowned in soy sauce, which some places love to do. 3/10 Packaging: simple brown paper bag, main dish in a plastic tray, noodles in an aluminium tray. No napkins, no chopsticks, no cutlery. Very basic. 3/10 Did it fill me up? Not really. Did it taste good? Not really. Will I return? No. Overall: 3/10. Poor effort, undercooked food, tiny noodle portion, and nothing here gives me a reason to come back.

05/09/2025: Been ordering delivery from here for awhile and it's been great - burgers have been delicious, onion rings super crispy and moreish. Great portions. However, the fries are bad - they're lukewarm, not crispy, dry, and tough. Tastes and feel stale. Might just start leaving them out in future orders.

26/07/2025: I recently visited Backyard Diner in Leixlip, eager to satisfy a craving for a good beef burger. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations, proving that not every glittering thing is gold. The smash burger I ordered was quite disappointing. The bun was soggy, and the burger itself had a peculiar, off-putting smell with absolutely no discernible taste. It was a far cry from the flavorful beef burger I had hoped for. To accompany the burger, I ordered fries, but they were entirely dried out and frankly, inedible. This added to the overall frustration of the meal. In my opinion, this was a waste of money. Based on this experience, I will not be buying from Backyard Diner again.

26/04/2026: Extremely disappointing experience at Fallons of Kilcullen. We arrived for an early dinner with our two young children and from the start it was clear the place was completely disorganised. Multiple items we ordered were unavailable (roast beef, roast chicken, chicken wings, lasagna), meaning we had to keep changing our order several times. Drinks took around 25 minutes to arrive, and after waiting 45 minutes, we still hadn’t received even our starters. Meanwhile, tables seated after us were served before us. We eventually had to leave without eating and scramble to find food elsewhere for our children. While staff apologised and mentioned a change in management, this does not excuse such poor service and lack of basic organisation. As locals, we won’t be returning. The experience we had does not reflect the high rating shown here, so I would encourage others to think twice. We will never be back here again. Very poorly run and extremely frustrating.

18/04/2026: Food was okay but that was about it. Burger bun was dry and tasteless. Side salad was a leaf of iceberg with a scoop of coleslaw on it. Chips were lovely.

17/09/2025: Nowhere comes close to the pizza here. Beautiful crust, amazing sauce and quick service. They’ve just gained a long term customer

06/06/2025: I was here over the weekend and I must say the Staff are sound and the pizza is at a really good price! Handy location as well and the parking is grand!

15/08/2025: The food and staff here are lovely, however the coffee is not. It's Nespresso pods, which I don't think was advertised and is really disappointing ( I can have that at home) and charged at the same price as a barista coffee 😐

17/07/2025: Perfect spot, the all day breakfast is super, and the avocado and poached eggs sandwich was amazing. Great friendly staff. Highly recommend. If you can't finish everything, they'll wrap up for takeaway. Brilliant 👏.

27/05/2025: Could not be a worse experience. Service was beyond appalling. Male server got the drinks order wrong, even after confirming it with us. No apology just into a huff. Customer service was non existent. Anyways, ordered pulled pork wrap. Absolutely terrible, no flavour, no rub or sauce used. Pork was hard, not shredded or pulled. Stuffed in some dry lettuce, no onion, no jalapeños, no cheese, no beans, no rice. Awful in every way. Place was deserted when we went in. Can see why. Sad
