13/03/2026: Ordered a large bag of chips tonight along with chicken and I was an hour waiting to be told there busy I recieved my order and the large bag of chips half filled the plate I rang and asked for a fresh bag as they were freezing cold and I was told no next time you order we will look after you

01/03/2026: 4.90 for a large chips. I'm still waiting for the rest of the chips. That definitely wasn't a large bag.

23/11/2025: 5 staff on the floor. Taking so long for order.

20/07/2025: Asking for a filter coffee two days in a row you would swear I was asking for a pint of blood, have to settle for Americano. Ye might aswell remove it from the menu

30/11/2025: I walked down to wongs garden in the rain with my little sister in the cold I ordered a slice box with a can of coke bear mind I ordered this spice box before leaving my house when I got down the the Chinese it still wasn't don't I came home and opened my spice box and the chips and chicken was burnt I took a bite out of the chicken and it broke half of my back tooth this is a disgrace 🤢this has never happened before

23/08/2025: I had stopped ordering food from her over a year ago because of how downhill the food had gone. I gave it a try again tonight and never again. I got a notification my food was ready via just eat. I went to collect and I still had to wait 10 mins for my food once I got in there. Spice bag was way to salty and wet.

30/10/2025: The food took about 40 mins to come the chips were very poor they tasted bad and dry and our fizzy drinks were flat and warm It was one of worst experience ever I would not recomend

18/03/2026: Ordered delivery, their driver was pretty late and the food was kinda warm. Then after I ate the food. My stomach hurt the rest of the day. Probably wont be back

21/10/2025: First visit ,just got a 4 in 1. Food was cooked fresh, It was steaming hot, lovely fried rice, good chips and a generous amount of shredded chicken. The curry sauce was a nice consistency and there was plenty but it was a bit bland.

13/02/2026: Decent foods.Its simple foods so its alright. Got fish and chips. Got a fresh cod. you can taste the freshness and crispy. Its not oily too.Love that the place is very clean. Staff are kind too. thank you Macari's Cafe

06/10/2025: Had a coffee and carrot cake in branch yesterday evening. FYI was well before closing time. Coffee initially served was cold. After I brought it to their attention counter staff brewed me a fresh cup quite quickly. The coffee blend used is very unpleasant and management should urgently look at reviewing the blend(s) they use. The carrot cake was also quite bland. I appreciate it's a shopping centre with lots of transient passing trade, but that's no excuse for serving very poor coffee etc.

23/07/2025: The sides used to be really nice here. Wings were unbreaded and essentially made fresh. Same with wedges - used to be real potatoes. Now both seemingly come from a frozen pack. Even spar wings and wedges would beat the crap out of them now. Staff are great and pizzas are still awesome. No point ruining the good pizzas and service with sub par sides 🤷‍♂️

10/07/2025: Shocking place in Maynooth. Was good up to about a year ago but the place has clearly focused on cheap ingredients, inexperienced low paid staff rather than hiring well. Portion sizes have reduced dramatically. Place doesn't even have Ketchup.

21/02/2026: Tonight I ordered a ginger boy, half of the box was onions, there was no garlic, 2 micro sticks of ginger and 2 slices of shitake mushrooms. Prawns were over cooked. I'm very disappointed because last time it was excellent. If there is no consistency in the food quality I won't order again.

24/09/2025: I got Chicken & Broccoli with Noodles and a Sprite, €17.50. The Broccoli was yellow, brown and slimy. I threw half of it in the bin as it put me off. Overpriced below par food but nice Counter Staff. Shame really 😔

19/08/2025: This is a cost little cafe built into Dunes in Naas and I love going here because there's always a deal to be got if you watch the specials. I went for my regular which is a Latte and a sconce. It was €4.95 until two or three weeks ago but even at the new price of €5.15 it's still great value. The staff are always very nice as well.
