The best restaurants in Kildare

19/04/2025: Staff were lovely, very friendly and efficient. Alot of dishes on the menu, but we got the toasties and chips. Toasties were decent, chips were nice and hot. I also got a latte, and the glass had visible coffee stains dried into it. That didn't come off when I rubbed it to check. Also, the womens bathrooms have cameras in them over the mirrors pointing at the stalls, which was a bit disturbing. The toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time, visible build-up of dirt on and around the toilet seat, the smells was also disgusting in the toilets. Only one hand dispenser had soap in it, there was toilet paper just left lying around.

08/04/2025: Every now and then you find a place that ticks all the boxes and the Hideout Kilcullen was just that. Made a reservation for two for an anniversary dinner and arrived early, no problem, showen to a nice table by Leigh who was so polite and helpful. We ordered two different dinners and didn't have long to wait, the food was beautifully presented and plenty of it, very tasty. Another member of staff Demi was so bubbley and chatted to us making us feel welcome which added to a wonderful evening. I will definitely return, big thanks to the staff.

02/03/2025: It is Roseville House and it is just a fantastic place to sit in and watch the day go by, or dine with friends...love it!!!

02/10/2024: Would not sit in here to eat, no atmosphere. No view and often full of teenagers but ok to grab a take out. Food is fine and service is good. Reasonably priced too.

23/07/2025: The sides used to be really nice here. Wings were unbreaded and essentially made fresh. Same with wedges - used to be real potatoes. Now both seemingly come from a frozen pack. Even spar wings and wedges would beat the crap out of them now. Staff are great and pizzas are still awesome. No point ruining the good pizzas and service with sub par sides 🤷‍♂️

10/07/2025: Shocking place in Maynooth. Was good up to about a year ago but the place has clearly focused on cheap ingredients, inexperienced low paid staff rather than hiring well. Portion sizes have reduced dramatically. Place doesn't even have Ketchup.

09/05/2025: low-rent rubbish, boring food, boring atmosphere and even more boring pints 🥱 👎🏻

26/04/2025: We were down in the Westgrove Hotel for an event and we decided to have our lunch in here. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The service was swift. The food was delicious and fresh. It had a good ambience and the place was big so plenty of room.

07/04/2026: Chicken caesar wrap was pretty good. very quick and friendly service as well.

15/02/2024: Lovely authentic food. Great taste and spices. Highly recommend for nice spicy food. Would definitely go again and good service.
