01/05/2025: The food was delish! One of the top 3 meals during our week in Ireland. We would definitely eat here again:D We had the focaccia, the baby potatoes, roast carrots, & the trout for dinner. Great service, James was attentive and was a great conversationalist. We loved everything we ordered, so just had to try their sticky toffee pudding, again one of the top 3 desserts we had during our week in Ireland:D Can't wait to come back and eat here again on our next trip!

17/04/2025: Hace poco cumplí 30 años en el hotel Pembroke. No podía recomendarlo lo suficiente - el personal fue extremadamente servicial desde el principio, especialmente Alicia. En la noche, todo funcionó perfectamente - la comida, bebidas y el servicio eran todos fabulosos. ¡Ninguna pregunta era demasiado grande! El espacio también tiene una zona para un DJ, que realmente se sumó a la noche! Servicio 10/10 y un gran lugar. ¡Gracias de nuevo!

19/06/2025: 3.5/5 Stars While the meal was certainly pleasant, it fell short of the exceptional experience one might expect from a Michelin-starred establishment. At this level, I anticipate a notable attention to detail, a flair for creativity, and a consistent elevation in quality. Though the dishes were tasty, none stood out as truly remarkable. The scallop ravioli, however, was a standout: impeccably cooked, perfectly seasoned, and a testament to culinary precision. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not exude the elevated standard associated with Michelin recognition. The cheese course, in particular, was a point of disappointment—lacking the sophistication one might hope for in such a setting. As for the ambiance, the decor was adequate but unremarkable—nothing that would leave a lasting impression or elevate the dining experience beyond the ordinary. The service, unfortunately, did not align with the expectations one might have for a Michelin-starred venue. The staff, though friendly, lacked the polish and refinement that typically accompanies such an esteemed rating. Issues ranged from simple lapses, such as not remembering which dish belonged to which guest, to more noticeable oversights like failing to present the dessert wine menu before the cheese course, or even neglecting to refill water glasses. Additionally, dirty plates were left on the table for an extended period. In summary, while the meal was enjoyable, the overall experience did not reflect the caliber typically associated with a Michelin star. There is potential here, but a more focused commitment to detail, both in the kitchen and front of house, is needed to truly distinguish this restaurant.

16/07/2025: Havnt been in a couple of years so was looking forward to it, standards have really dropped, really limited menu, had beef brisket, wife had cottage pie, Both poor standard, Brisket was dry with badly put together flavours, Pie was similar, really poor quality and served with even worse side of vegetables. It feels like they’re trying to be a high end gastro pub without the talents to pull it off. To be fair the setting is fabulous, unfortunately the staff seemed uninterested, no interactions while serving or clearing of plates, no one enquired how our food was or if everything was ok? Walked past 3 staff on the way out and not one said goodbye or acknowledged us! I put this down to management tho and staff training neither of which seems to be present!

09/07/2025: We were walking by and drawn in by the really great live music. The seating was very comfortable. Service from the bar. Friendly staff. Good pints. No food after 930 pm. Music was finished by 11 pm, so go early.

12/06/2025: Es war sehr lecker, sogar unser Sohn hat gegessen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, empfehlenswert! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

14/04/2025: The perfect place to have something to eat at meal time. Few dishes but really good and elaborate. They don't have many tables and there may be queues outside.

26/06/2025: The breakfast was probably the poorest quality we've ever had, the eggs had to be sent back they looked like eggs that had sat in a deli all day, the young girl who served us was absolutely lovely and so polite. Replying back: Never asked for runny eggs and had no ideas on Eggs but they were cremated not well done, I do have a photo of all four plates. yes eggs were changed when asked I never said otherwise, I thought your breakfast was very poor quality, I said they looked like they had sat in a deli all day not that they did or that you had a hot counter. my opinion in which as a paying customer I'm very much entitled to. Sorry if my opinion offended you in anyway but it was a very honest review.

29/05/2025: Such a lovely little café! The coffee was smooth and perfectly made, and the scones? Absolutely delicious, flaky, fresh, and just the right amount of sweetness. It had that warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer. A perfect stop for a quiet break and a treat!

11/05/2025: Mocha’s Vintage Tea Room & Restaurant es un lugar muy especial. Nada más entrar por la puerta, son recibidos por Laura y Joe con la sonrisa más grande y una cálida bienvenida. Tanto si vienes a desayunar, comer o disfrutar de un dulce, cada plato tiene un sabor absolutamente delicioso y se presenta con un nivel muy alto, con gran atención al detalle. La comida es casera todos los días en las instalaciones, con un menú variado para atender todos los gustos y requerimientos dietéticos. (uno de mis platos favoritos es la opción vegana de Ensalada Saludable con remolacha recién tostada, calabaza butternut, quinoa, con semillas mixtas, granada, espinacas, cohete y un delicioso aderezo de limón) , pero también me encanta el café helado y el pastel. Este es un gran lugar para relajarse y saborear la experiencia mientras disfruta de su comida en la cafetería más hermosa con una decoración elegante y elegante, muebles antiguos y música francesa tocando suavemente de fondo. Me encanta mi ritual semanal de visitar el Vintage Team Room de Mocha, es un placer y una experiencia positiva maravillosa, gracias a Laura & Joe. 19/07/2025: We stayed just one night at this B&B. The room was okay. Tea and coffee with a kettle are always a plus... The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had dinner here in the evening for convenience: we ate well (smoked salmon bread and a good sirloin accompanied by potatoes and other vegetables), and the beer was excellent, but in Ireland you can usually be sure of this at a more than reasonable price. The property is located right on the main road to Kilkenny, so it's easy to find. Parking was available in front of the building, which is great when you're on a road trip like us. We were four friends (two couples). Overall, more than good. One last thing...the breakfast: okay (we had booked a room with breakfast), both continental and Irish (several options). The place is about twenty minutes from Kilkenny, so if you want and the weather permits, you can take a walk to the town center, which is very charming and inviting, with a castle and adjoining park... Both are best visited only until late afternoon.

30/06/2025: One of our favourite places we stayed at during our trip around Ireland. Clean and tidy rooms with a great restaurant below that had great food. Would highly recommend!

21/06/2025: We arrived for food. Completely let down, orders taken and no idea if they were uploaded into the system but food had to be asked for twice, it was overcooked when it arrived.. the steak sandwich was too chewy, not sure what kind of steak it was but it was a cheap cut.
