03/05/2025: Stayed here with a group of friends for a weekend, delighted with all aspects of it. Clean and comfortable rooms, great breakfast and coffee, and a laid-back bar atmosphere which was a perfect for some pints and food.

08/04/2025: This restaurant is a diamond in the crown of Kilkenny eateries. The menu is small, varied and perfect for any palette. Each dish contains stunning fresh ingredients cleverly crafted together and the service is impeccable. I ate there’re twice last week and will do so again this week. Wonderful.

23/04/2025: Beautiful rooms in a great location with a very nice host! He even showed us into the room and didn't just hand us the key. And the rooms are absolutely worth the price! 100€ for 2 people in a double bed room with bath & shower. Absolutely recommended!

25/05/2025: Fantastisk hyggelige servitører, blide og imøtekommende. Min mor og jeg delte en burger for vi var ikke veldig sultne, og dersom ferdig delt og dandert. Koselig atmosfær og rikelig med sport på tv. Maten var nydelig, perfekt tibetedt.

25/04/2025: Una hermosa sorpresa (porque entró por casualidad después de ser rechazado por otros dos pubs para la cena) nos sentimos muy bienvenidos en An Poc Fada como una pareja joven con una hija de 2 años. Servicio amable y disponible, buena comida, buen precio/calidad y muy buen ambiente con música de guitarra en vivo.

06/04/2025: About three years ago, I came here during a family vacation and I still think about the Chicken Caesar Salad that I had. Not too be dramatic but I have never had a better salad anywhere here in the US. Like I'm talking final meal-on my death bed, I need this salad.

11/05/2025: On entry greeted by a member of staff and asked for a table 2 adults and high chair. Shown to a table and sat down. After 5 minutes my husband went to look for the high chair that was asked for and told by a (very rude) male (who appeared to be management) that they have never had high chairs since the premises had opened. Why not just tell us that before we were in and seated? I mentioned my concern to a female member of staff on our way out who literally shrugged and carried on about her business. May I suggest management / owners invest in some up to date customer service training and maybe even a high chair.... or 2! You never know, once all the tourists return home after summer you may actually need some local business..... and if you do have children that require basic human rights I.e. feeding chair and changing facilities I suggest Paris texts located a 2 minute walk away who were more that accommodating to children

28/04/2025: High gloss bar without a pub atmosphere. Nice looking values ​​but without life, joy or service. Cocktails are not on a serious level.

21/09/2024: El salón de té más hermoso. El personal no podría haber sido más amable con mi pequeña. Le dieron un bebé chino y malvaviscos que le alegraron el día. La mejor granola que he comido. El personal era excepcional!

19/10/2024: D'un point de vue français la façade ferait presque fuir (comme souvent en Irlande) mais il faut pousser la porte, c'est juste parfait à tous points de vue, ambiance, cuisine, rien à redire. J'ai fait beaucoup de pubs / restaurants en Irlande, celui-ci fait partie de mes préférés.
