09/09/2025: We are from Buffalo, NY and planned our trip to Ireland around visiting Kilkenny so we could experience the Sullivan’s Brewery and Tap Room. Our time with Kelley was great! She was fun, very informative and able to go “off script” to answer our questions. Please send the Marble Stout to Buffalo! Thank you!

19/09/2025: One of the oldest inns in all of Ireland. Need I say more? Top-notch atmosphere, old-fashioned service, low-volume music, and dim lighting. A true step back in time.

The Lime Tree cafe & restaurant
05/09/2025: Dropped in here on a short visit to Castlecomer. While the village/town was lovely and clearly developing well with quality new andrestored shopfronts and sensetive restoration of many buildings, but the star of the 'show' for our visit was the Limetree. Food was fresh and very tasty, service was very friendly and efficient. I cant say much about the atmosphere as we ate outside but everyone seemd to be enjoying the Limetree as much as we did. First Class!
PS. Good value too.

25/08/2025: Always a wonderful night at the Hole in the Wall. Whether the owner Dr. Michael is tending bar or any of his employees you’re in for some wicked fun craic if you linger near the bar. Great and varied music upstairs too - last night was Irish trad lads who told stories between songs, last year it was a group of teens who I’d liken to a young Led Zeppelin!

19/09/2025: Phenomenal service. Spent weeks looking for the right paint colour. One visit and we had the perfect one. Also got an amazing sit down breakfast.
Go here for anything you need. If they don't have it, they will point you in the correct direction.
