Dropped in for an afternoon guinness and a bite to eat.
Never been to Limerick before and spotted it from the end of the street as it looked like a pub we would frequent.
The staff were really friendly and helping with tips from the menu.
We decided on the loaded fries and chicken wings...they were seriously the best wings we have had on our month long tour.
Started off with a couple of Guinness which were well poured and cold!
Tried a Murphy's but wasn't sold so had another few Guinness 🙂
Would definitely recommend visiting the Glen Tavern when in Limerick.

16/09/2025: Visited tea and tales 2 with my daughters the week it first opened. Pia I believe her name is couldn't have been friendlier to my 2 daughters there still talking about the lovely women. Will definitely be back again had the bacon and chicken wrap was divine

They have opened a second Cafe in Church street Abbeyfeale .
On the right hand side of the street as travelling to Kerry .
The church is close to the cafe on the left hand side ..
Abbeyfeale town free parking for the first hour .

22/10/2025: Love the delicious pizzas here. Such a lovely pub and great staff too. Very affordable and delicious way to enjoy a night out in Limerick. We had booked a table for our group,I'd recommend you do this as it gets busy on a weekend night in particular. Great atmosphere on the night (Friday)with a large celebratory 31st birthday party next to us and full tables in the covered "beer garden" area. Fab young waitress looked after us. Great service 👍

chef decided to add almost 20 tomatoes thinking its a good idea, but it wasnt. Food was dry and not tasty. cutleries smelled like egg.

03/11/2025: Went with a group of 10 and everyone went with 3-course meal.
Their top appeal is the ambiance, came very close with their food. The group had different choices from the menu, all of them were tasty and rich in flavors. I’d go for the lamb shank again a fall of the bone and great balance with the sauce it came with.
