The best restaurantsof pizza & pasta

14/09/2025: Service was appalling, was trying to order a drink was asked to move certain area so I did. Then proceeded to get ignored by the bar staff who asked me to move in so I asked why, again because I was “not in the que” even though there was no designated Que here sign. Didn’t get name but very distinct staff member, Round glasses and mullet working upstairs by the smoking area absolutely awful service. All could have been avoided by better communication.

23/09/2025: We hired Laguna for our wedding on Saturday 13th September 2025. From the outset of our engagement with Laguna, Anand guided us through the ins and outs of what to expect on our wedding day. His expertise really helped and he was able to ensure the day went smoothly. Anand coordinated our special day. He made every effort to make us feel relaxed and calm leading up to the event. He even did a site visit to ensure everything was in place, just how we wanted it. The food was great and our guests were very impressed! Anand and the Laguna team were a key supplier. Laguna led and coordinated the day with the other supplier, which took a lot of stress off our plate. Anand has been great to work with. He has been our point of contact since day one. 19/09/2025: Laguna catered our wedding last month, and we were very happy with their service. The food was absolutely delicious, and many of our guests complimented both the quality of the dishes and the refined service — especially during the cocktail hour. Everything was well organised and beautifully presented, which made a big difference on the day. We would highly recommend Laguna to anyone planning their big day!

03/07/2025: I recently tried this food truck and was completely blown away by their wood-fired pizza. The crust was perfectly crisp with that amazing smoky flavor you can only get from a real wood fire oven. Every bite was fresh, hot, and packed with delicious toppings. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into making each pizza. The staff were super friendly and made the experience even better. If you’re a pizza lover, you have to check this place out. Easily one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, food truck or not. Highly recommend!

06/09/2025: Fantastic pizzeria in mount shannon with great service and very friendly staff. They have a great wine and beer selection too (first menu I’ve ever seen that starts with the wine!).

03/11/2025: Hands down the best takeaway in the county , you can tell these guys really care about the food they are putting together and that they are using great quality ingredients not your run of the mill cheaper alternatives. Top class burgers and the best pizza ( The dough was amazing and clearly hand made ). Dont miss out stopping by if you area or just make the trip . Recommend their spicy double smash burger and the delizoza pizza. Thanks very much and we'll be back very soon.

22/08/2025: Tasty fresh Pizzas on a nice thin base cooked by professionals . Great menu choices available. I chose the 12" option which was perfect for me without being a glutton. Eat in or take away. Nice ice cream too, thanks.

23/09/2025: The food here is some of the best home cooked food you'll find in north Cork. Prices are very reasonable for the size of portions. The owner was friendly and helpful with the food options. I had the beef stroganoff. I don't usually eat mushrooms, but I ate some in this, and the whole dish was lovely. The banoffee pie was very good too. We all really enjoyed our dinners here and we'll definitely be back to the Orchid soon as we live locally. Be aware that they don't sell alcohol here. I'm not sure if they allow you to bring your own wine etc. I will ask next time.

19/08/2025: What a gem! Go downstairs into the gorgeous space and be treated like royalty by the gracious staff. I loved my lunch here -- the arancini was the best I've ever had. I tried my friend's mushroom polenta appetizer as well, which was also tasty.

25/08/2025: I ordered chips and battered sausage the chips were fine but the batter on the sausage was awful and not edible as it was heavily soaked in fat and near burnt.....you need to have more control of what you send out to consumers ..in this day and age its not acceptable.

26/07/2025: Family-friendly and delicious Took my kids here last night and we all loved it. Big shoutout to the chef — the wings were cooked to perfection and the garlic mayo is to die for. There’s something for everyone on the menu. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

02/08/2025: La comida era muy agradable, el vino era encantador y crujiente. La comida sabía fresca y muy bien presentada. Pan de focaccia encantador, casero y fresco. Mi único problema es la hospitalidad. Delante de la casa joven mujer es muy grosero. Por suerte no tuvimos que lidiar demasiado con ella ya que estábamos sentados detrás del restaurante. El hombre mayor que nos atiende no tuvo la mejor recepción, ya que estamos incomodándolo. Sin embargo, algunos miembros del personal eran muy amables, una chica pelirroja joven increíble servicio. Algunos miembros del personal son incómodos de estar cerca, en particular la parte delantera de la casa femenina que marcó el tono desde el primer minuto de nuestra experiencia aquí.

20/07/2025: I had the worst seafood pasta ever! Prawns was hard and tasted like paper disguasting and old, calmars very chewy, mussels was good and this all for over 23e. We have a very good memories from this place, that why it was very disappointing after what we get today. We have to wait for a menu because the waiters watch the match in tv. Long time waiting for a food. You can get better pizza in supermacs. Chefs is not Italian for sure. Or he just don't care. Never again. Overrating!!! Highly recommend the cocktails ,the only good thing in this place.
