04/05/2026: Really nice spot. The pizza was really, really good, fresh, tasty, and well made. The service was friendly, and Taina was very attentive and kind. The chef Yuri was amazing, he definitely knows what he's doing. Thanks for a great dinner! I'll definitely come back :)

18/04/2026: Quite disappointed, I went in really excited trying out this pub I’ve been wanting to go for a while. I asked politely if I’m allowed inside with my dog, they told me no. They didn’t ask my order so I went outside waiting for someone to come outside since I wasn’t allowed inside with my dog. Waited 30 minutes and then just left not having got the chance to try anything. I think it would’ve been nice to say “I’ll take your order here now and bring it out to you” while I was inside, or come outside to take my order. There is a cafe in Blackrock that has a sign saying “dogs allowed for ordering inside”.

30/12/2025: Lovely atmosphere, good beer and if you are walking with the dog water and dog snacks in the smoking area out front, oh and the pizzas are lovely.

01/01/2026: Underwhelmed Slow service, long wait, my lamb dish was very fatty. Didn't bother to stay for dessert and coffee Yes, it was New Year's Day But if you can't cope don't book so many tables.

11/04/2026: It's wonderful, the pizzas are class, and varied in flavour! It's rustic and chic at the same. Feels lovely.and friendly and the staff are well informed and worked off their feet. Hugely popular you must book in advance. Really enjoyable! We certainly will be back! The pear and walnut pizza is lovely (that's what I had at least). They take cash or revolut only!

15/04/2026: I ordered the seafood pasta with a side of garlic bread and unfortunately it was quite disappointing. I had visited a few years ago and ordered the same dish, which was beautifully presented (served in a tinfoil swan) and absolutely delicious, so I was really looking forward to it again. This time it was a completely different experience. The pasta was covered in a bland tomato sauce and the seafood was overcooked. The garlic bread was also very poor, the bread itself tasted dry and the garlic butter wasn’t fully melted. It’s a shame as I used to rave about this place, but based on this visit, I wouldn’t be recommending it anymore.

10/05/2026: A great pub/restaurant. Found the staff exceptionally friendly. The food was definitely 5 star without the exuberant cost. The beef was a melt in your mouth experience and the menu itself was very good it had something for everyone. When back in west cork it will be a revisiting.

16/10/2025: Recommended by the place we were staying around the corner and was a perfect spot for my daughter and me on our little getaway. I never order pasta when I’m out for a meal but we both ordered pasta dishes and we were both very happy with our dinner and the whole experience. Very relaxed and welcoming. One thing to note is they accept cash only.
