03/02/2025: It was my first time to dine here. Nice atmosphere when walked in. We had pre booked for lunch. Food was super, lovely presentation and good size portions and very reasonably priced. Staff very friendly, our server was lee. Attentive and nothing was a problem. Will definitely be back

hadn't eaten in here in awhile (I love the Bacon & Cabbage), and was in this week. The staff are all so chatty and welcoming (especially the legendary Ann - you won't forget her craic, if you meet her). It's a lovely cosy space with lots of little corners and snugs to relax and have a chat. All the staff on the night were extremely helpful and on 3 occasions staff asked if we were all good for everything! I only took a pic of the dessert, which was a Rocher Cheesecake. This place does food right. Good variety, proper portions, and well cooked. Located ultra centrally in Town centre. Beside taxi rank and shops.

18/02/2025: Wow! We visited Sligo for a friends wedding, the Airbnb host recommended this place. We were not disappointed. Really warm atmosphere, top notch Guinness and Irish coffee, and the food was sublime. I got the grilled Irish steak sandwich (a whole steak on ciabatta with wild shrooms onions etc) and the wife had Korean wings. Would 100% recommend

06/02/2025: Was here when we went to Sligo for our anniversary and to say the food here is great is an understatement. The food is fantastic, they didn't hold back on the favours or spices, the meat was cooked to perfection and was falling apart. If you are a local I'm jealous that you are so close to here. Next time we are in Sligo we will be back.

09/02/2025: I was really disappointed when my plate arrived. I ordered the 10oz fillet steak, expecting a well - composed dish, but what I got was just a steak with a basic blob of mashed potatoes - something I could have easily made at home. To be fair, the meat itself was delicious, but the dish was completely missing the chorizo and leek that were supposed to be included.
To top it off, I was given a single, headless stalk of broccoli - it honestly felt like a mean thing to do to someone 😂
When I brought this up to the waitress, hoping for some acknowledgment or even an apology, she instead made me feel foolish for asking.
Overall, a really underwhelming experience. Definitely won’t be going back.
06/02/2025: I recently went with my family, the place is beautiful. The food and service were excellent. It is a very good restaurant in the heart of the city. The quality of the food is very good, you will pay a little more than elsewhere, but it will be worth it. The chicken was delicious!!

27/10/2024: What an amazing find. Absolutely spotless pub, from the bar to the toilet to the smoking area. Love all the rooms and snug off the main bar. Very friendly staff and customers alike. The barman was lovely and chatty and had time to talk with us. Would definitely like to say we will be back!
