Today i was there with my partner, we had really nice dinner in really cozy atmosphere with really nice staff. All yummy but be careful with the negroni is very strong 😀😇❤️ Now we have our favorite place ☺️

17/11/2025: I just spent 3 of the most amazing days in Mullingar and the crew at Clarke's are a HUGE reason why. I was there to Celebrate Niall Horan's 32nd birthday and it was an awesome experience. I will NEVER forget how kind Kieran, Carole, Ryan, and Naomi were to me. Kieran let me pour my own Guinness - so much fun. Hope to return some day, but until then Slainte! Forever grateful in Texas, the "vintage" Niall Horan fan for life! P.S. Ryan I am expecting photos of the Texas recipes you try!

17/11/2025: Me and my family have just returned to England after taking our daughter to mullingar for a surprise 14th birthday treat as she is a massive one direction fan and even bigger niall horan fan.We arrived in clarke's bar on Saturday evening when the Irish rugby team was playing and it was very busy,as soon as kieron realised that my daughter tia was a niall fan he couldn't of done anything more for us he gave us all a personal tour and gave tia some special gifts he honestly made it the best day of her life.I can't recommend clarke's highly enough it is a very warm and friendly place I want to thank you kieron from the bottom of my heart for everything you done for Tia you are a very caring nice man,we all definitely will be back again soon thanks from Stuart and all his family.

15/11/2025: We stopped in on our way to Galway and were lucky enough to enjoy live music. The staff and the locals were all very friendly to my wife and I, and kindly explained to us Americans what ‘toasties’ are. This was by far the coziest pub we stopped at during our road trip.

11/11/2025: Legend has it that this bar is the oldest in Ireland. I couldn't verify that, but judging by the staff's apparent age, they're still remarkably young! As soon as you walk in, you're captivated by the place. I also carefully observed each new customer as they entered, and the pleasant surprise was evident on every face. So I'm certain: this bar evokes emotions. You immediately feel at home and want to order everything, because you're here to sample the local brews, right? Verdict: we tasted Irish lagers that had an extraordinary flavor, both creamy and with a deliciously subtle cereal aftertaste. We chatted with Irish, Brazilians, and Americans, as if all the good company had gathered in the same place! We had an amazing time and the reputation of the place is well-deserved: the welcome was fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect! Thank you Sean's Bar for existing!

05/10/2025: I had the Tom Khao Soup, which was delicious. My mom had the Pad Thai and Vegetable Spring Rolls and loved them. It’s a great restaurant within walking distance of all the pubs. Perfect for a late-night dinner.

19/10/2025: My family and I went here for my birthday meal. The staff were lovely and very accommodating to our dietary requirements. The service was great very quick but still had great customer service along with it. We all ordered different food and were in agreement that our food was lovely. Great flavour and good portion sizing. The owner came over to talk with us and we briefly stated it was my birthday in a passing comment during conversation which they had taken more notice of then we realised as the staff came over with a surprise birthday dessert with happy birthday written on the plate which to us made a big impression of how much they care for their customers and truly do listen to what we say. Overall this was an amazing experience and we will be back again.

11/10/2025: Visited for a birthday lunch, we asked for all courses to come at once as one of us didn't want a starter and they were incredibly accommodating and everything came out really fast. Food was great and service was brilliant too, highly recommend

09/11/2025: We had a fantastic morning coffee here! This is a lovely little cafe to visit, where the staff are very welcoming and helpful; the coffee is also delicious and strong, accompanied by a perfect carrot cake recommended by one of the baristas. There are many different areas in which to sit, each offering a different atmosphere and comfortable vibe. The music was a nice, upbeat addition, and not so loud that it was hard to chat. I noted the premises is dog friendly, which makes sense given the outdoor area. The front of shop is bright and seating is well spaced throughout. The baristas brought the coffees to the table, my flat white was good and strong which was great for early in the day, and good value for €3.70 and the carrot cake with walnuts was top notch for €3.80. They have a wide selection of individual cookies, cakes and other treats on offer, as well as some more filling options.

03/11/2025: Food is amazing however when I booked a reservation for my college graduation they said we would be able to book for 3.30, my my name and phone number and when we got there the place was closed. We were not the only people who this happened to as there was about 5 other families waiting at the same time. When we rang the premises we got nothing as the phone was not turned on. I do not understand why this location would approve so many reservations for a set time and then not even open. Disgraceful

08/11/2025: Plenty of car parking at the rear of the hotel. Check their website for room deals. Staff are polite, friendly and efficient and helpful. Clean and tidy rooms, with decent sized unsuited bathrooms.
