25/11/2024: Went here recently for a family birthday party, food was fresh and very well presented. Menu was excellent great selection for everyone. Lots of us had their prime steaks and they were on point, I had the hake which was delicious and a great portion too. Service was brilliant very friendly and efficient staff especially the very smiley blonde lady. Will definitely be back!

16/12/2024: Had the best experience at Clarkes Bar! Kieran, Bryan, Naomi and the entire team were so welcoming and went above and beyond. Hearing more about Niall’s performance at Clarkes Bar was a highlight, but we loved the drinks, music and service even more!

09/12/2024: Cracking bar, 1000 years old. Roaring fire, full of olde worlds charm and plenty of US license plates. Lovely atmosphere and a welcome retreat and shelter from Storm Darragh. Couldn't score food as didn't have any, but if they do food, I'm sure it's as top notch as the Guinness and service! Highly recommend this little gem to everyone!

13/11/2024: Incredible food! Very authentic and delicious. We ordered a mixture of dishes for an event, with vegans, vegetarians and people without any restrictions. Everybody loved it. It was perfect for all spice levels, something for everybody. Food is fresh, flavourful and we would highly recommend.
10/11/2024: Ordered the Afghani chicken curry and the Garlic chilli chicken, naan and rice to takeaway. The food was fabulous and generous portions. The Afghani chicken was my favourite, delicious flavors. The naan bread was very good. The food was ready when I arrived to collect and piping hot. I will definitely be back again.

24/11/2024: We had a most enjoyable brunch-type meal. The staff were attentive and helpful, advising us of items on the menu. The meal filled our hungry tummies successfully, and the coffee was excellent! Even though it was a Monday morning, the place was busy. Definitely recommended.
09/11/2024: Brought my elderly parents here today for breakfast en route from Dublin to Galway. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and offered a hot top up on tea for all; food was excellent and service was efficient. Ambience was friendly and personal and menu was extensive and very reasonable. Owner/Manager made the stop off highly memorable with her concern and general generosity. I was only sorry I hadn’t cash for a tip as don’t accept tip on card. Will stop again soon and will have wallet on the ready. Thank you one and all. Keep doing what you re doing!!

07/11/2024: What a gem! Beautiful decor, brilliant service and absolutely delicious food. I didn't expect to find such an incredible Thai restaurant in the "dead centre" of Ireland, but it was genuinely the best Thai meal I've had in years.

10/11/2024: Food is fantastic and a great selection. The staff are very friendly. Would come back again. One small recommendation to owners is to stop charging for a jug of miwadi for a table of kids especially when the spend is over 100 euros.

28/11/2024: Decided to pop in while passing by and luckily they had a table empty which they assigned to me right away.
Food was very good both portion and taste wise. Staff were helpful despite the restaurant being so busy.
Overall I can see why the place is liked by locals in contrast to the other Italian restaurants around so would recommend.
