The best restaurants in Wicklow

02/02/2026: Service isn’t great. Rude barista/ manager lady. Coffee counter is old and outdated. Needs a refresh. Very expensive

17/08/2025: Our daughter recently had her Debs and we invited family over before she headed off to school, I ordered the most beautiful platters of Sandwiches from Orla and they didn’t disappoint! Orla provided a wonderful selection of artisan and regular sandwiches that went down a treat with our guests! So would highly recommend any special occasion to look at Orla’s menu as there will be something to suit every occasion!

19/07/2026: I visited around 3pm expecting a proper restaurant experience, but it felt more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. There's a menu, but in practice you go up to the counter and tell them what you'd like, and they serve it onto your plate. I had the corned beef with gravy, mashed potato, half a baked potato, and cabbage. Unfortunately, none of it had much flavour — the potatoes (both kinds, which felt redundant) were bland, the cabbage was cold and equally flavourless, and the gravy was overly salty. A large portion is almost €19, with a smaller "proportion" option at €13, which felt steep for the quality. The setting itself is lovely, with a great view over the sea, so I'd recommend coming for a pint and the scenery rather than for the food.

08/06/2026: Stopped for lunch before our hike. Such a beautiful view from the terrace! Great service and lunch!
