The best restaurants in Dublin

07/01/2026: Update: adter a few more visits I am writing a short review. I am more of a coffee quality than vibes person, but Brew Lab is in my opinion the best coffee shop in the area- and the staff are a huge credit to it! To add, it’s the nicest and most consistent americanos I’ve had of about 20 shops in the past year. It’s a shame about the cup volume and some of the discounts were reduced

07/01/2026: We visited Brew Lab on Sunday and it is the best coffee shop I ever been to. My partner ordered a pour over coffee, and I had a chai latte. The pour over was a real experience with the staff member talking passionately about coffee and the different stages. Although I don't usually drink coffee, I tried the coffee he made and really liked it! It's the first time that I feel like I could drink a full cup of coffee as it was fruity and not bitter at all. He also helped my partner choosing a bag of coffee. Fantastic customer service! Unfortunately, we forgot asking for his name, but I think that he was Korean as he translated the name of an ingredient on his phone from French and I believe the language was Korean. Hopefully it will help identifying him and thanking him again :) Also, the lady that made my chai latte also did the cutest latte art on it (a seahorse) so many thanks to her too. We will definitely visit again when we return to Dublin!

13/01/2026: Yellow Cafe is a great spot for brunch near Berkeley Road. The food arrived hot and well presented. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

12/01/2026: Lovely little café in Phibsborough with a very warm vibe. The coffee was smooth and the breakfast tasted fresh. Perfect place for a relaxed morning.

15/01/2026: I've been going to Govinda's for the last 5 years and it has always been a fantastic experience. Food is so delicious and the portions are masive. Very grateful that there is a place in town that offers quality and reasonably priced vegan food! This was their small plate and it was between 11-13e.

13/02/2026: Great food. Great service. Very friendly staff.

06/02/2026: Gone downhill since the last time I was there. Food dry, bland and overpriced. How are pancakes more expensive than a full Irish? Staff totally disinterested too.

27/02/2026: The drinks were great value for money and the people were friendly. A good local pub.

08/02/2026: Nice, creamy pints. Cozy atmosphere.

18/03/2026: We stayed here before our early morning flight back. Parking available on premises which was great since we had the hire car. 10 Euros for 1 night. We recieved an upgrade to a King room which was lovely and we had a nice night sleep. We did not try breakfast because we left too early. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Plenty of walkable pubs and restaurants nearby. 10 min approx. drive to the airport.

11/03/2026: Help me, I'm looking for my young, handsome, perfect, sexy, and incredibly handsome man. I left him asleep in the bedroom, and when I left the bathroom, he disappeared. The search is still on. Whoever finds him gets a free concert (if you don't faint at the sight of such a gorgeous man).

14/02/2026: A really great pub, nicely located in the center of Dublin. The Irish coffee was relatively small, but very, very delicious.

13/02/2026: My family stayed here at the end of October / start of November, and sadly the accommodation was very disappointing. The roof leaked during their stay (it was raining heavily). This was a particular issue since the carpets were soaked in a room with a 4 year old and a crawling baby, and no alternative rooms were offered or available. There are indications that the roof issue was already known: the guy who came in to look at it said ‘not again’. There were also problems in the other room with a lack of hot water. I understand that issues happen, but the response from management has been pathetic. The only compensation that was offered during the stay was a small percentage off food downstairs. My dad wrote a follow up email explaining how disappointing the stay had been, and how their response had been insufficient. Management took two and a half months to reply (apparently it was in their outbox, lol). No further compensation was offered. However, they made a point of asking us to mention in any review that the leak was now fixed! Atrocious management. Stayers beware.

21/12/2025: Easy parking. Quick bar service even though there a long line it moved fast. Comfy seats. Great spot for a concert.

03/04/2026: Good vibes and music. Chicken tenders are a bit too greasy for my taste but the meat is tender and succulent. Nira’s service was impeccable very friendly and helpful.

03/04/2026: The chicken here is always perfect 👌 Cheesy, saucy, crispy. Had the bacon on tots as well, delicious. Very good service from our lovely friendly waitress Nira too

03/04/2026: Wonderful staff, wonderful food, and the atmosphere is spot on, never too crowded. I've been here close to ten times now and the staff are always keeping eyes out on the tables, keeping drinks replenished and keeping everything tidy; the Biryani is incredible, as well as the Jhinga. Well recommended.

28/09/2025: Surprised to arrive to find a car queuing system but in a small car park that can’t accommodate it. It was difficult to abandon it and get back out. Frustrating.

09/03/2026: Classic local with live music that become our favourite - friendly, authentic, great atmosphere.
