31/08/2025: A great local pub with a good atmosphere and a fine selection behind the bar, highly recommended.
We were staying in a local student hostel when I popped over for the last drink and my companion when to bed. The access key card failed and I was stranded outside the room, I returned to the pub for assistance and the manager accompanied me back and used his mobile to alert security. He then returned with the security guard to ensure I was safe. He would take nothing for his trouble and I am eternally grateful for his assistance.

02/09/2025: Food was amazing. Service was lacking. Dishes were 7-8 min apart in the beginning, but turned into half an hour apart later. Then there was the hour 15 between dessert and me managing to flag down a server when they stopped at the table next to me to give them their check (they started 1.5 hours after me for the same menu). When the server stopped to run their card, they didn't run mine even though it was out, and came back a few minutes later. Ended up spending 3.5 hours here
25/08/2025: Went here for a romantic meal. Everything was outstanding, very pricey but worth it! I highly recommend.

11/09/2025: What a great spot. We had brunch in this bustling cafe recently. Although they had a few issues with a leak and lights out in the toilet area, they managed the upheaval remarkably well. The staff were excellent and the food was even better. There were six of us and everything was perfect. I can't stop thinking about the delicious potato dish I had!

Un pub que se esfuerza por presentarse como un gastro sigue siendo una casa de copas muy simple, poco atractiva, solo para los lugareños. El personal del salón afortunadamente posee encanto y gracia.
11/07/2025: Sin duda el mejor desayuno de la zona. Llevo viniendo aquí unos cuantos años y siempre es excelente. Dos salchichas de buen tamaño, dos lonchas de cerdo, huevo frito, tomate a la plancha, morcilla y pudin, dos tostadas y té o café, buena relación calidad-precio por 12€. 50 . El servicio es siempre eficiente y amable y la impresión es la de un establecimiento gestionado muy profesionalmente. Una cosa más, las patatas fritas siempre vienen servidas en un plato caliente, algo que no siempre se consigue en otro sitio.

31/08/2025: Sunlight streamed through the large windows overlooking the Grand Canal, giving the space a calm, bright feel. I ordered a flavoured latte—the syrups include caramel, hazelnut, vanilla and more. I chose vanilla, and it tasted close to a Korean-style vanilla latte—comforting and well-balanced. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful. I’d happily go back.

11/09/2025: A great place to enjoy a good beer and great live music. I went with my daughter, who was on crutches that day due to foot surgery, and a tall waiter with curly hair made every effort to make my daughter comfortable. This will be a regular spot to visit every time I travel to Dublin.
