The best restaurants in Dublin

25/09/2026: The pizza is ok, i feel like the branding is mostly whats on sale here. As a napoletana pizza, the dough was underproofed and very heavy on the stomach. The sauce was as it should be but the cheese did not taste like an Italian mozzarella and was quite rubbery. Chicken goujons were nice.

30/09/2026: Great food, drinks and brilliant service. I know it’s niche, but the froth on my hot chocolate was the best I’ve ever had. We sat in for breakfast/brunch and saw the queue forming at 12pm for the lunchtime rush, so I imagine it’s popular for their flatbreads and salads too.

26/09/2026: Everything about Tang is class. The food is so tasty and fresh, staff are friendly and there’s always a buzz. Have only ever had breakfast there, need to come back to try the lunch as I’ve heard it’s great! (My only criticism is they need to put silent pads on the chair legs as they’re so noisy when people move about)

13/07/2026: What a little gem. We arrived to what I thaught was a quiet venue for breakfast by the recommendation of some guests already dinning out side who said the food was amazing but I later found out the venue was close to capacity of very happy guests We ordered the fancy eggs and the pog breakfast and we shaired a side of halumi frys also divine. I have always believed you can have quick food or good food and no offen can you have both but this cafe is the exception. The servers are all very frendly and the food was brought out nice and quickly and tasted amazing. The coffee in my opinion is better than the coffee shop down the road and the orange juice was very fresh with a strawberry as a garnish, (very nice touch) also ketchup was ordered but not needed due to the quality of the food been so high.

14/09/2026: Had a great time at Chimac. I was pleasantly surprised by their extensive veggie menu! Their panko tofu patties and delicious, also loved my passionfruit spritz.

11/09/2026: Really great service! We were in Dublin for five days and came here twice. The food is excellent and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant. Bonus points for the good vegetarian options.

25/08/2026: The first pastry shop in my experience to compare with those in Melbourne, the foodie capital of Oz. There is a fine Italian restaurant nearby that we go to just for their focaccia, as it is so good. Fable's is even better. Excellent work, team!

19/09/2026: We're absolutely delighted with the experience at Fire & Stone. We turned up with nine people (6 adults and 3 toddlers) while they were quite busy. The staff put together a table for us with only a few minutes wait. We were served promptly and the food & drinks took no time at all. Everyone was happy with their meals. 5⭐ all around. Great presentation and taste. I can definitely recommend this as a great place to go. (Children's playground across the street too)

25/08/2026: If I could give 0 stars, I would. We ordered two extra-large pizzas, and thank God the kids had already ordered their favourite takeaway from somewhere else, because the adults who ate your pizza ended up with food poisoning. Absolutely terrible experience. We had visitors over and several people became unwell after eating the food. This is completely unacceptable and extremely concerning from a food safety point of view. We definitely will not be ordering from here again.

12/09/2026: They have a really bizarre rule that you have to order a main plate and two small plates per person. We were a group of four, all ordering main meals and cocktails… when i ordered my main and side I was told that I had to order another dish. I could order another side or a dessert… I told the waitress that I would order a dessert after the meal and she said I had to order it now. Seems so odd to force people to order a certain amount of food. I won’t be back for this reason, but the food was decent!

08/10/2026: Very unfriendly staff, at least the one who served me today. First time and last time I buy from this place. It's very close to my office but I'll buy from anywhere else.

04/10/2026: We were deeply disappointed by our experience here. Unfortunately, one of the staff members was remarkably rude, condescending, and unwelcoming…so much so that we felt disrespected and decided to leave. Basic kindness is essential in customer service, and this missed the mark entirely. To top it off, the coffee itself was subpar. There are plenty of wonderful cafes nearby, so I'd recommend saving your time and money.
