The best restaurants in Dublin

03/08/2026: This "hidden gem" is definitely not hidden. It was so very crowded and difficult to navigate. It was also unclear where the musicians were going to set up, so hard to stake out a table. I am also bewildered by some of the other reviews that mentioned a full food menu because all they had when we were there were Ham & Cheese Toasties and Tomato soup. The establishment definitely is not clean either and its restrooms were not well tended. But the Irish lads playing music were fantastic and the beer choice excellent (they even had Guinness 0.0). We thoroughly enjoyed them, so in all, it was worth going to.

09/09/2026: If you’re traveling to Dublin, this restaurant has got to be a priority. Getting the Chowk Ki Aloo Tikki (aka potato cakes) is a must. I was unsure at first, but my eyes started watering when I took the first bite because of how magically delicious the flavors were. One of the best things I’ve eaten in a while. We also tried some of their signature dishes. The wings were good, but we wish they would’ve come with an additional sauce. The Goat Keema Pao was great, and the bread that comes with it really makes the dish. We also tried their butter chicken because our waiter hyped it up. It was worth the hype and was some of the best butter chicken I’ve had! The tandoori bread basket is a wonderful addition because you get to sample three flavors of naan. We thought we were stuffed, but then they brought out the dessert menu, and we had to try the chocolate ferrero. Delicious!!! One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to!

23/08/2026: Went in with a group of 4, as our AirBnB was on the same block. We were ordering drinks at the bar to take outside and were approached by a bearded man with a tablet. He proceeded to tell us that they don’t serve anyone who is standing at the bar. We were also informed that only parties of two could occupy the stools at the bar and there was one individual at the bar at the time. We obliged and headed outside to an empty table. I understand this is a hoity toity cocktail bar, but it’s literally across the street from a homeless hostel (DePaul). Being so pretentious but so close to the ghetto and turds on the sidewalk was literally the joke of our entire trip 🤣

09/07/2026: Best Guinness in all of Dublin. And we tried almost every pint I reckon. They wouldn't let us have it until the head had settled properly. It really was lighter somehow.

09/07/2026: Absolutely superb. I think we've tried 15 different places for a pint of Guinness on our visit this week. Kavanagh's is easily the best. No idea how but it's lighter and no bitter taste.

04/09/2026: Had wonderful experience. The food was immaculate and even though we were near closing time, our waiter was extremely helpful and polite. Definitely would recommend this place and churros are a must. We will be back for everything, especially the churros

24/08/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wonderful experience. I went for lunch with my partner and we were delighted. The lasagna was spectacular, homemade, flavorful, and perfectly prepared; without a doubt, one of the best we've ever had. 🍝❤️ We also want to especially highlight Mattia's service, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout the entire meal. He made the experience even better. An Italian restaurant we will definitely return to. Highly recommended! 🇮🇹✨

01/10/2026: A friendly Thai welcome and great real Thai food. Tiny spot - space for five inside & two seats outside, we were luck to get a seat.

05/09/2026: A cozy spot to savor a delicious croissant and enjoy a good old-fashioned coffee.

19/09/2026: Four of us all had different main meals and they were all amazing. Really friendly service and outstanding food. Good Gluten free options on food and drink.

09/09/2026: Pick hour so had to wait for the server and the food a little more than I woul expect. The quality of the food is really good so it was OK to wait.
