The best restaurants in Dublin

21/12/2025: Great food and great staff! Always a busy but happy atmosphere! Can't beat the quality of their breakfast rolls, for taste or price! Would always reccomend

20/12/2025: This was our first visit to The Hungry Monkey for breakfast, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The café itself is quite small, with tables placed very close together, and it was extremely busy due to nearby offices. We were shown to a table by a staff member and ordered two breakfasts and two coffees. The coffees arrived quickly, but our food took almost 30 minutes. Meanwhile, customers seated around us were served, finished, and left, while our order still hadn’t arrived. What made the situation worse was the way it was handled. A woman who appeared to be the owner or manager approached us, initially apologising for the wait. We politely said it was fine. However, she then explained that she needed our table because other customers had reservations and repeatedly reminded us that she needed the table back. The delay was clearly not our choice, and it felt as though our order had been overlooked. Being asked multiple times — albeit with a smile — to hurry up or give up the table made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. If reservations were such an issue, we would have understood being told at the door, rather than being seated and then pressured. The food itself was very average and certainly not worth the overall experience. Unfortunately, the service and attitude overshadowed everything else. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it.

05/12/2025: Love love love this place. The fabulous lady who is front of house (and who also is the dessert chef) is such a joy. I love going back as often as I can. The sardinian bread at the start is a lovely touch. The raviole is my fave.

22/01/2026: A very nice Irish pub just steps from the city center. I liked both the place and the food. The staff were friendly and helpful, the prices were moderately high, in line with Dublin pubs. Vegan options are available, which is not always easy to find!

14/12/2025: Small but imitate. Great atmosphere, service and food. Freshly made tacos and tortilla chips. Highly recommend. Very reasonably priced. Only alcoholic drinks are beer and wine so if happy with that I would recommend for dinner.

04/10/2025: Great place to stop for breakfast! We had the full Irish breakfast which comes with tea/coffee and toast. Fast and very kind service.

04/10/2025: We were looking for an authentic Irish breakfast and we found it. The place is simple, but neat and clean, the service is fast and friendly. Due to its location, it is mostly visited by locals. The Irish breakfast was very delicious, we also got a large pot of delicious tea. The prices are friendly for Dublin. I can only recommend it.

05/08/2025: Value for money meal.. The quality is okay though but taste and quantity is really good. We ordered chicken 65 Biryani meal that came with chicken kebabs and separate portion of chilli chicken.Everything tasted good. Extremely satisfying portions and pocket friendly

29/07/2025: We catered our 25 people intimate wedding cocktails party from Desi Bawarchi. The food was a hit among all, both veg and non-veg. The starters especially were incredible and the biryani is recommended 100%. It was delivered on time and definitely good for the price.

15/03/2026: Best pub in Howth, very friendly staff and with great service. Food was nice and well presented. Sport on the TV’s without taking away from the atmosphere of a “Irish Pub”.

12/10/2025: I loved it! My second favorite coffee shop in all of Dublin. It has lovely booths where you can eat. You have to wait, especially on Saturdays because it's always busy, but you'll find somewhere. It's a magical place, and everything is now decorated with pumpkins and autumn motifs. The prices are quite reasonable considering the beautiful location, located in South Dublin in the Dublin Mountains. I ordered a Spice Pumpkin Latte, and it was one of the most delicious I've ever had. They also have a variety of sandwiches, and they also have overnight oats. It would be nice if they offered a salad! I went by car, and they have plenty of parking.

01/12/2025: Better value elsewhere. I ordered the Char siu pork and was surprised to see that rice was not included. For a €25 dish it’s disappointing having to pay another €4.50 just for a small bowl of rice. Any other restaurant I’ve been to has included rice as standard with a main dish like that. The portion size of pork was good, but my food was barely warm when I received it. Disappointed

01/12/2025: The staff were very polite and helpful. The starter was quite good, and the beef dumpling was very tasty, although the bottom wasn’t crispy. The prawn toast and its sauce were excellent. The pork noodle soup was hot, delicious, and a large portion. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy my own dish. The lotus roots weren’t for me,there was a strange perfume-like aroma coming from the food. I’d like to come back again to try the noodle soup or dumpling .

11/03/2026: Came for a family get together, three generations, two vegetarians, everyone loved Bethlehem. Gorgeous decor, great atmosphere. That was my first visit, of many I hope.

09/03/2026: I had an amazing experience there. The food was incredible (my friend and I shared vegetarian mezze) and the waiter was lovely. I’d happily visit again.

06/03/2026: A once legendary pub is going down hill - over priced drinks and little more to offer. They still have decent bar staff, who can pull a good pint, but they'll be gone soon, along with the customers, the way things are going...

26/01/2026: Really great experience in Hong Hop last night! There was a decent enough crowd of us, 10 in total, and the whole staff were really welcoming and accommodating throughout the whole evening. The service was top class, can't thank them enough for how they looked after us.I found the food to be really good, and there's lots of options available so everyone can find something. Would definitely go back again!
