The best restaurants in Dublin

07/03/2026: Food was probably the best Indian food I’ve had in a long time. The hospitality was also A+. Thanks for an amazing experience.

21/02/2026: Went here with my 12 year old daughter. We had a great experience, food was amazing, the lady was happy to explain all the dishes, gave my daughter a mango dessert to help if spicy and just all in all a lovely place. Great food, great service, highly recommend, will be back.

20/03/2026: Secure entrance. Warm, friendly welcome. The bar/restaurant is very pleasant. The waiters, waitresses, and bartenders are efficient, friendly, and always checking that everything is alright! A lively but very English atmosphere.

19/03/2026: Great stay at the Mercantile, we visited for St. Patrick's and the hotel has a great location, even though is right in Dame which is quite busy the room is very well sound isolated, so no noise. Excellent attention from Gina at front desk and Marco on the restaurant.

11/03/2026: I don’t often write reviews, but I had such a excellent time dining here that I feel obliged to share. The food was mouthwatering. Simply excellent. Not a singular bad bite. The vibes were immaculate, calm and chill. All the staff were amazing but this review goes out to Gustavo who served us. Nothing but praise for this man. We had someone in our party who had severe allergies and Gustavo took the time and energy (working with the kitchen staff) to make sure that there was no cross contamination with anything served to her and that she could still have a satisfactory dining experience. The quality and care shown was truly unmatched. Thank you Gustavo! We’ll be back for sure.

21/03/2026: Our family had an amazing time at the Mespil Hotel in Dublin! Every staff member we encountered was friendly and kind. They made us all feel like family. The breakfast was perfect and there was something for everyone's taste. The rooms were spotless and had the BEST bath and body products from Rituals Cosmetics.The room even had a small mini frig which was awesome after a run to TESCO. The location was great too it was close to the train at the Grand Canal and to walk into the city center. We loved our stay and would like to thank everyone for the great time they showed. " The Irish Way"!!

20/03/2026: Rooms are well, equipped and clean. I found the bed was quite hard but that's my preference for a softer mattress. Location is central & breakfast was good.

01/04/2026: This was such a fun experience! We really enjoyed choosing our ingredients and watching them be cooked. The man at the restaurant was as sweet as could be. He made us feel right at home. We're definitely coming back the next time we're in Dublin.

30/03/2026: It’s a highly recommended experience. They offer a table with a variety of vegetables, meats, sauces, and condiments so you can choose what you like and hand it to the chefs to prepare on the grill. The food is delicious, plentiful, and very reasonably priced. The service is good.

12/03/2026: Beautiful fillet, cooked properly, rich deep flavoured pepper sauce, and everything felt polished from the minute I sat down. Service was sharp without being overbearing and the room had that classic steakhouse feel. Sylvan my waiter was exceptional. A really enjoyable dinner in the heart of Dublin. If you’re serious about steak. Go here.

19/03/2026: Refused entry because of clothing as I was attending the darts in the 3 arena was told was over 23s when my own buddy who’s 18 was sat down with a pint infront of him by an older member of staff who clearly said when I was leaving to a friend or good customer that she didn’t want a darts person in the presence of the pub absolute joke

02/01/2026: The pizzas were really good. I definitely recommend this place. The guy who served us was super friendly; I don't remember his name, but I think he was Brazilian. The place was very cozy and very reasonably priced. Two pizzas and two drinks came to €34, which isn't bad at all for Dublin.

19/12/2025: This is one of my favorite places to eat in Dublin, it's an amazing place to go regularly because it's so cosy, reliable and affordable and usually you can get a table without booking except on Thursday or weekend evenings/nights. The lasagnes are all delicious and well priced, the atmosphere is generally amazing and the staff are usually quite nice. The menu is very simple and the wines are all delicious, even the cheapest wine by glass is delicious. Some areas of improvement are ensuring to actually heat up the lasagnes, I've received it cold multiple times over the past few years. This should be checked in advance of serving, to bring bread with the lasagne, to put the cocktails in nicer glasses and sometimes the spritz don't usually water that is sparkly enough.

28/03/2026: Lovely spot for breakfast- I had Pan-fried mushrooms, fig, organic poached eggs, St. Tola goats cheese, hazelnuts, wild garlic aiol, pickled radish, Tartine organic sourdough - delicious 🌟

26/03/2026: Had an amazing recent visit here, food and service was 5/5 and the food price was very reasonable. Highly recommend giving this place a visit!

03/02/2026: Centrally located and perfect for celiacs. Their gluten-free menu is extensive and safe: crispy pizzas and delicious pasta that's just as good as regular pasta. The staff is very careful to prevent cross-contamination. A great find!

16/03/2026: The manager maro is the best!!! Drinks were very good and they have a really good sun room for bigger groups

14/03/2026: We had dinner booked in Wilde but had a pre dinner coctail in the sidecar and were served by the wonderful and friendly Imogen. She sent us a little complimentary taster coctail while we waited for our drinks which was just the nicest touch! A really extensive coctail and drinks menu… we had trouble choosing what we wanted! The staff and service from hosts such as Imogen are what make this place 5 star!
